NACE is seeking to appoint a Marketing Administrator who will support the development and implementation of a comprehensive marketing programme, including effective use of social media, to achieve:
· An increase in take-up of both NACE membership and our product range;
· Effective communications to ensure our current members gain full value from their NACE membership.
The successful candidate will have obtained Level 3 qualifications (A-levels or equivalent) and you may have a degree in an area such as communications and/or marketing. You will have experience of using social media platforms to promote products, events or services, and of using online event platforms. You will be confident using databases and will display excellent attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring our members receive an excellent standard of customer service.
You will have shown the ability to display initiative and to work successfully as part of a team. You will have the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people and display effective listening, verbal and written communication. You will be expected to work effectively under pressure, be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines, react positively to change and embrace new challenges. You will be committed to working for a charitable organisation and/or have an interest in the education sector.
This role reports to NACE’s Marketing and Brand Executive.

Hours: 4-5 days (30-37.5 hours) per week – term-time-only working will be considered
Salary: £24-£27k (fte) depending on experience

About you
You’ll have extensive experience providing excellent administrative and project support, including using databases and gathering and analysing data.
You’ll be a skilled communicator with the ability to engage, work with, and build relationships with a wide range of people. An understanding of charities, community groups, and statutory services across Dorset is essential.
You’ll be self-motivated, organised, and proficient in the MS Office suite, with particular confidence in Microsoft Excel.

The overall responsibility of the People and Culture Administrator role is to support the smooth running of the Foundation’s People & Culture function. The role is responsible for the administration support to the People & Culture business area, specifically the business partnering team.
The People & Culture Administrator will play a key role in handling people processes, employee records and provide general HR support, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. The role will work collaboratively with the Talent Co-ordinator and People Operations Analyst to ensure the full spectrum of the People & Culture directorate is functioning effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
People/HR Administration
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Liaise with the People Business Partners to prepare HR documents, such as contracts, carry out suitable checks (such as OH and DBS) and take up references.
- Assist with People Operations Analyst with reporting, including tracking key metrics such as absence, turnover, and compliance.
- Support the administration of People policies, procedures, and processes.
- Handle general People/HR queries from employees, utilising suitable technology to track, escalate and close off queries.
- Produce and send HR related letters and correspondence as required.
- Develop and oversee an adequate, effective, and efficient electronic filing system for storing employee information
- Support the People Business Partners in managing individual review cycles, sending reminders to managers when reviews are due and signposting staff and Line Managers to further support and guidance.
- Working with the People Business Partners, collectively manage the 360 feedback surveys for end of year reviews.
- Ensure reviews are completed on time and closed off on the relevant HR Information systems.
- Work with the CPO, Head of People & Culture and Internal Communications Manager to develop People related content, for dissemination via Staff Gatherings, Foundation Hub, staff emails and system alerts.

Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Assist the People Operations Analyst with payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate submission of employee data.
- Maintain records for employee benefits such as pensions, health insurance, and other schemes.

Employee Relations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and GDPR regulations.
- Assist in handling employee relations matters by supporting documentation and meetings.

- Support HR projects, including assisting the People Operations Analyst in delivering employee engagement initiatives etc.

About Bristol Avon Rivers Trust (BART)
Founded in 2012, the Bristol Avon Rivers Trust (BART) is a charity dedicated to restoring and protecting the rivers of the Bristol Avon. Guided by an evidence-based, ecosystem-wide approach, we focus on the health of the entire catchment, not just the rivers themselves.
BART began as a grassroots effort driven by a shared passion for waterways. Today, with approximately 20 employees and an annual turnover of £1 million, we manage multi-year projects funded by diverse supporters to preserve and enhance the Bristol Avon catchment.
We work with landowners, communities, businesses, farmers, water companies, councils and government agencies to protect and rejuvenate rivers, lakes, and estuaries, delivering benefits for wildlife, local economies, and people. The post holder will join a growing, ambitious team delivering multi-benefit projects to protect and improve the Bristol Avon catchment, and the Trust Administrator will play a key role in supporting the smooth delivery of the Trust’s operations.
Job summary and purpose
The Trust Administrator is responsible for maintaining the core administrative functions of the Trust to ensure the smooth operation of the charity, enabling its mission to ensure healthy rivers for wildlife and people.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the Trust Administrator will work with a range of internal and external contacts to ensure routine business functions, human and physical resources, supporter and governance liaison are working well. The role will involve working closely with the Chief Executive, but also with other members of the team, Trustees, supporters and suppliers.
The role will require exceptional organisational skills, excellent interpersonal skills, an attention to detail, and working flexibly in an agile environment. Experience of organisational administration in the public, private or charity sector, and experience of HR, meetings administration and IT are essential while purchasing and negotiating with suppliers is desirable. Key responsibilities include the organisation of Apprenticeship events, maintaining individual learner records (ILR), data analysis, and managing the virtual learning platform and MIS. Qualifications & Experience
MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Reporting to the Apprenticeship Manager you will be responsible for:
General Administration and Apprentice Support
- Supporting Harris Federation as a main provider, ensuring all apprentice data is accurate and up to date
- Preparing and updating PowerPoint presentations to promote apprenticeships
- Organising and promoting apprenticeship events and information sessions
- Supporting the promotional/marketing strategy to drive apprenticeship applications and delivery
- Organising and managing information days for prospective learners / students and supporting the recruitment to various apprenticeship programmes
- Maintaining responsibility for monitoring and updating records on the DAS (Digital Apprenticeship Service) system and other data system trackers
- Maintaining apprenticeship records, including the apprenticeship tracking system, producing reports to monitor enrolment, completion rates, and levy usage
- Helping to maintain the EOSONE learning platform to ensure accurate data and the declaration of our monthly ILRs (individual learner records)
- Supporting the implementation, procurement, quality assurance and evaluation of the apprenticeship offer to support business objectives
- Data analysis and preparing regular reports on performance of various programmes
Management Information System (MIS)
- Managing and actively updating EOSONE learning platform to ensure all the learner portfolios are up to date including off the job
- Supporting with the on-boarding of learners on the Harris Federation main provider provision and the completion of relevant enrolment documentation, procedures, and guidance

Overall Duties of the xxx will include:
- Manage inbound and outbound post daily using the virtual systems in place

Reporting to our Head of Governance, this role will see you responsible for providing top level administrative and organisational support to our busy Governance team, ensuring the smooth day to day running of corporate governance for our organisation.
