The Baytree Centre (registered charity no 1175145) is a women and girls social inclusion project based in the heart of Brixton, working to support local women and girls from some of the most deprived wards in Lambeth.
Inspired by Catholic Social Teaching and in response to local needs we offer programmes that include skills development (employability, language), 1-1 coaching & mentoring, welfare support and creative & academic activities that build confidence and self-esteem, promote aspirations, broaden horizons and opportunities. Our Facilities and Reception Team is currently composed of an Operations & Facilities Manager, a Morning Receptionist and a Youth & Family Coordinator Receptionist. The mission of our team is to ensure that the Baytree Centre is a “Safe and Welcoming” place for all. We are looking for an afternoon receptionist to help us in our mission.
The Afternoon Receptionist is responsible for ensuring the security and identification of all girls, parents/guardians, and volunteers entering the premises during the after-school youth activities as well as efficiently managing reception and answering enquiries with the support of the Youth & Family Support coordinator.
Key Duties & Responsiblities:

Provide some ad-hoc administrative support for facilities management and youth service (e.g. update facilities posters around the building etc.)
Knowledge & Experience:
The ideal candidate can demonstrate that they:
- Have experience working in a client-facing role
- Have experience working with and/or around children
- Understand and have experience of safeguarding and health & safety procedures and practices
- Have a good standard of English (written and spoken) for taking messages and dealing with visitors, callers and service-users
- Are IT Literate and comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite especially Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Teams
- Can deal confidently with all visitors, students and staff and know how to be diplomatic and patient as well as assertive and firm as needed
- Can deal courteously with all visitors, students and staff and are friendly and helpful and always greet visitors with a smile
- Are efficient, practical, proactive and able to stay calm under pressure to ensure that the Baytree Centre is always “Safe & Welcoming” especially during busy afternoons

· Manage Trust income in line with donor requirements.
· Identify and build relationships with trusts and foundations through proactive stewardship to secure new donors and retain existing donors.
· Deliver high quality and engaging content, including but not limited to:
o Funding proposals/applications/Case for Support/’One-pager’ pitches
o Impact reports
o Charity award applications
o Corporate fundraising applications
o Speeches and appeals
o Annual report
o Case study/content bank
· Work closely with the Programmes Team to continue developing the impact measurement framework, collecting, analysing and effectively reporting on charitable output and impact.
· Working closely with the Programmes Team to support the development of new programmes from a funding perspective e.g., our new Forest School Programme in development.
· Ensure we report to trusts/foundations and donors on our charitable output.
· Contribute to the charities newsletters, e-campaigns and external communications to ensure supporters know how their donations are being spent.

Role overview.
Complete international grant expenditure audits for a diverse range of projects (grant recipients) funded by international donor institutions ranging from emergency aid, to long term development in areas such as agriculture, health or infrastructure or technical research. Assignments are 1-3 weeks in length and based across the European mainland and the developing world. These are offered on an assignment by assignment basis, one to two months in advance.

Requirements
- Qualified ACA / ACCA or equivalent – 5+ years post qualified experience
- Grant management and audit and reporting experience with international institutions. Preference given to individuals that have worked on UN or EC grant assurance assignments
- Diplomacy and cultural sensitivity while working with a hugely diverse range of clients and beneficiaries
- A real interest in international development and associated funding structures
- Ideally but not essential fluency in a second language such as Spanish, German, French, Arabic & Portugese
- Excellent communication, report writing and presentation skills in English.

Walworth Garden is a registered charity and Company limited by guarantee, and governed by a voluntary Board of Trustees. Our main charitable work includes horticultural training for people not in work or education, and horticultural therapy for vulnerable and disabled adults. We also provide services that individuals or other organisations pay for in order to generate surplus income to support our charitable work.
About the role
We are now seeking an experienced and qualified finance professional to take responsibility for the finance function of the charity and its trading subsidiary. The chosen candidate will be joining our team as we embark on an exciting new chapter in improving our site and growing our capacity. The Finance Manager will work with the CEO to ensure the organisation has guidance and support on all matters relating to finance so that the charity and its trading subsidiary are always compliant and secure. The ideal candidate will therefore be detail-oriented and well-organised, with the ability to develop effective working processes and procedures, and the analytical skills to inform managerial decision-making. Walworth Garden is also a plant-based and cruelty-free centre, where our ethos in supporting both people and planet permeates everything we do, so this role will be a great opportunity for someone looking to utilise their skills and experience toward a shared vision and charitable purpose.
Core Responsibilities
Financial Management:
· Day to day management of the organisation’s financial and administrational activities, ensuring that appropriate systems are in place to receive and make payments, and to monitor financial performance of both the charity and the trading subsidiary
· Invoicing and, where required, debt management processes
· Regular reconciliation of bank and other relevant accounts
· Design and implementation of appropriate financial procedures, ensuring they are followed at all times
· Preparation of monthly payroll data and submission to external provider
· Managing all relevant tax aspects for the charity, ensuring that tax is appropriately calculated, collected, reported and paid
· Ensuring appropriate policies are in place, and updating these as required
· Carrying out other financial management activities to meet the evolving needs of the organisation
Financial Monitoring:
· Monitoring and managing cash-flow
· Monitoring financial performance of individual divisions
Financial Reporting and Budgeting:
· Preparation of monthly management accounts for both the charity and trading subsidiary and other financial analysis required by the CEO or Board of Trustees
· Preparing and supporting the independent verification/audit of annual accounts and any other financial reporting required to meet our obligations to the Charity Commission & Companies House
· Preparation and agreement of the annual budget and any required re-forecasts throughout the financial year
· Preparation of ad hoc financial analysis as required by the CEO or Board of Trustees
Procurement:
· Procurement and management of services and consumables required to support the organisation
Grant Administration:
· Overseeing the administration of grants and contracts, including ensuring eligibility of participants, submitting claims and other data required by funders, invoicing and budget monitoring, ensuring that all deadlines are met
· Supporting fundraising efforts, including preparing budgets for proposals
· Supporting the CEO to develop financial strategies for the organisation
General Administration / Other:
· Monitoring developments in financial regulations affecting the Garden, and ensuring processes / procedures are updated as required

A bit about the role:
As a Planning Support Officer, you will carry out administrative tasks to assist in the delivery of our responsive repairs, and support the PGM planning and operations teams to deliver an effective repairs service.
Some of the key results for the role include:
- Liaise with residents to make and rearrange appointments and allocate to correct resource.
- Help to identify escalations/risks with ongoing repairs and assist planning team to resolve.
- Assist planning team with booking of supervisor visits to properties.
- Ensure our customers are regularly and clearly communicated with, kept up to date on progress and their expectations managed.

JOB SUMMARY
The post holder will managing and lead the effective high quality delivery of the Grief Encounter therapeutic services, including online services, through a team of Therapists, Clinical Supervisors, placement students and volunteers.
They will assist the Director of Clinical Services (DCS) in implementing and developing the therapeutic element including intensive therapeutic support, projects, budgets and service planning. This will include:
- Leading, implementing and developing therapeutic projects and service planning.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with clients
- Ensure that clients receive a prompt and professional service.
- Provide advice and assistance through a range of channels: face-to-face, by phone, or by email. Seeing clients in office and at outreach locations and visiting clients in their own homes as required.
- Receive and respond to referrals from identified agencies in accordance with prevailing guidelines/funding.
- Provide support to clients including preparing accurate financial statements, budgeting advice, progression of debt options, advising on court proceedings for debt recovery and repossessions, and income maximisation to ensure take up of benefits and options such as backdating, overpayment and sanction challenges, appeals and representation if required.
- Keep the client at the centre of every case; check the client’s understanding and communication needs, agree on an action plan with clarity on who is doing what, encourage the client to be involved with actions as appropriate, keep the client informed of progress of case, and ensure cases are concluded in a positive way.
- Communicate and negotiate on clients’ behalf with third parties as appropriate.
- Give support in the sustainment of any tenancy, as appropriate.
- Ensure clients understand the terms of any tenancy or other legal obligation entered, or about to be entered into.
- Take a holistic approach to issues presented and signpost/refer to other services to help ensure that the advice and other support needs of the client are addressed appropriately.

The Vision Friends project aims to increase knowledge and awareness of sight loss and hidden sight loss in older people across all tenures from general needs housing to supported housing, sheltered, extra care housing, care homes and nursing homes.
As a Vison Friends Project Engagement and Training Officer, you will be in charge of delivering and monitoring the project, including creating communication plans, reports and stakeholders' networks. You will also identify training needs for the team and deliver training to project partners, developing content and solutions, and ensuring that Vision Friends and project partners have the right tools to make this project a success. By representing the RNIB/RNIB Cymru on local and national groups, you will ensure inclusion and access to information advice and support to enhance the wellbeing and independence of people with sight loss.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in delivering training, using different mediums, such as Microsoft Teams and face to face sessions, and project management. They will also have significant experience of the sight loss sector and/or working with older people or people with complex needs such as Dementia, Stroke or Learning disabilities.

Purpose of the Post
To lead insight and impact of the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector across Bradford District and Craven, including developing and managing the Impact and Insight function for the VCS Alliance. To ensure the work of the VCSE sector is founded on good insight and that the impact can be presented clearly to wide range of audiences across the Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership system. You will work in partnership with data and intelligence colleagues in Public Health and the NHS, promoting equitable outcomes for all community members.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To lead, on behalf of the VCSE sector, and in collaboration with system partners, the development of a shared set of metrics to measure the impact of the sector’s work, particularly in taking pressure off front line health and care services.
- Lead the development and implementation of an approach to demonstrate the impact of the work of VCS partners and their contribution to reducing inequalities.
- Work in collaboration with other voluntary sector infrastructure partners and their data and insight leads to help develop a joined up and collaborative approach to impact and insights across and on behalf of the VCSE sector.
- Develop, maintain and manage good relationships with a broad range of partners including, Local Authority, NHS partners, VCSE partners.
- Gather local, national, and international insight and learning to help inform investment decisions and the evolution of the VCS Alliance and its delivery partners’ work.
- Provide insight and learning for VCS Alliance staff, and VCSE advocates across the health and care system, to help them inform, advocate, influence and/or inspire.
- Present insights to a wide range of audiences, which includes senior leaders from different sectors, for a range of purposes including informing, advocating, influencing, and inspiring.
- To work in collaboration with system partners, including ICB and public health staff, to access relevant data that be translated into insight required to demonstrate impact of the VCSA and its delivery partners and wider VCSE organisations.
- Support the monitoring, learning, evaluation of programmes for the VCS Alliance and its delivery partners.
- Produce regular reports which help demonstrate the impact and learning of the work of the VCS Alliance and its delivery partners.
- Support the continued development of insight collection methods across a variety of projects.
- Engage in insight and impact conversations on behalf of the VCS Alliance with colleagues with similar roles across the BDC ICB system and the wider VCSE sector.
- Liaise with external evaluation agencies as required, ensuring that their insight is integrated within the VCS Alliance impact and insight system.
- Assist the Operations Director in managing all aspects of GDPR on behalf of the VCS Alliance, including acting in the role of Caldicott Guardian.
General Requirements
- Undertake personal training as required.
- Attend regular supervision sessions and staff meetings.
- Support general VCSA administration by handling inquiries via the telephone, email and drop-ins.
- Provide relevant information for VCSA’s newsletter/s, mailings, website and social media.

Special conditions
