QuarterFive are delighted to be partnering with Greenpeace UK in their search for a strategic leader to oversee its Key Relationships Team, actively engage with Greenpeace’s organisational leadership – contributing to key initiatives around inclusivity, anti-racism, and broader accountability – and lead the UK’s 2025 contribution to the global capital campaign. You will lead a talented Key Relationships Team of twelve, responsible for raising nearly £15.5 million annually from major donors, legacies, and mid-level giving. Your leadership will maintain the team’s strong performance while driving growth, including the UK’s contribution towards Greenpeace’s global capital campaign in 2025.
The capital campaign is a global effort to raise €100 million by 2028, funding the construction of a new ship and the environmental campaigns it will support. For 2025, the UK’s target is to secure £4 million, split equally between the ship’s construction and supporting key environmental campaigns.
As a strategic leader, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across Greenpeace UK and internationally, playing a key role in driving organisational fundraising performance, cultural initiatives, and Greenpeace’s overall strategic direction.
As Deputy Fundraising Director, Key Relationships, you will:
- Collaborate with senior leadership across Greenpeace UK and International to align on key strategies and deliver shared outcomes.
- Lead a high-performing team responsible for raising £15.5 million from major gifts, legacies, and mid-level giving.
- Guide the Key Relationship team’s UK contribution to Greenpeace’s €100 million global capital campaign, raising £4 million in 2025.
- Support the team in developing and managing current and prospective relationships with high-value donors.
Person specification:
ESSENTIAL:
- Extensive experience of establishing and sustaining relationships with senior-level external stakeholders and/or funders.
- Cross-organisational collaboration experience, with a proven ability to work effectively with senior internal stakeholders, driving collaboration and strategic alignment.
- A strategic leader with experience overseeing high-value income streams.
- Expertise in relationship fundraising in the charity/NFP sector and a proven track record of delivering six-figure income from high-value donors.
- Demonstrable experience of leading, managing, motivating, and inspiring high-performing teams, including managing managers.
- Strong budget management skills and experience delivering against financial targets.
- A commitment to diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism, with a willingness to continually learn and foster a positive and inclusive culture.
DESIRABLE:
- Capital campaign experience would be advantageous.
- Track record of securing seven-figure donations.
- Experience of overseeing legacy functions – public facing campaigns, prospecting, stewardship and administration.
- Ability and willingness to travel overseas for short periods, with occasional unsocial hours as required.
- Experience of overseeing a celebrity and key influencer function.

About the Role:

The role will work across teams and departments to coordinate, steward, and facilitate the success of the projects through active stakeholder and task management, project transparency and supporting collaboration. They will ensure alignment with the set strategic goals of each project, drive key milestones and co-ordinate cross functional delivery teams.
This role is for an experienced project manager who is skilled in navigating complex environments, is a highly skilled communicator, and holds an understanding of communications as a marketing discipline.
You’ll also:
Facilitating Decision Making and Delivery Progress
- Chair and coordinate delivery groups and be accountable for delivery of the project on time, on budget and to a high standard of work.
- Ensure key milestones are completed to appropriate timelines.
- Responsible for the delivery of key drivers of progress such as briefs into specialist teams including analytics, market insight, creative content.

- Track project outcomes against defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and objectives.

Project Documentation and Administration
- Define and deliver key documentation of the project including decision making accountabilities, transparent timelines and milestones, assigned responsibilities, communications plans, defined outcomes etc.
- Track and raise dependencies with the delivery team – ensure progress is happening in a logical and feasible order.
- Develop (through collaboration within the delivery groups) project KPIs to meet set Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) or defines outcomes.
Budget Control
- Manage and track project budget, control expenditure and optimise resource allocation.
About You:
- Experience in leading complex projects with large numbers of senior stakeholders.
- Experience in establishing lines of delivery process where complex interdependencies exist.
- Flexible and responsive. Able to adapt to changing environments and priorities as situations develop. Able to support delivery teams to navigate these environments while maintaining progress and quality of output.
- Extremely organised and attention to detail, with a meticulous focus on project details to ensure quality and accuracy in all deliverables.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence and update multiple teams, both in the UK and overseas, and key stakeholders effectively.
- Time Management: Ability to manage and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and keep projects on schedule
- Risk Management: Proficiency in identifying, analysing, and mitigating project risks.
- Negotiation. Able to manage negotiation between multiple stakeholders, ensuring all are heard while still progressing action and maintaining positive working relationships
- Experience in managing budgets for complex projects.
Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:
- Project Management qualifications.
- Experience working in the delivery or strategy of a communications or marketing function.
- Experience working at or with INGOs, including cross-border working.
- Proven experience in using project management technology or ability to quickly pick up such tools.

- Oversight of operational financial functions including statutory reporting and compliance
- Steering and advising on current and future financial strategy and policy.
- Supporting churches in their financial management alongside the oversight of trust funds vested in the board.
To meet the challenge, you will have a recognised professional qualification and be able to show a successful track record in a senior finance role in the financial, business or charitable sector (you will need knowledge of charity law in relation to reporting requirements). You will need to have managed the annual process and delivered the statutory accounts of a charity of a reasonable size.

About the role:
This role will be to primarily focus on children and young people or their parents/guardians contacting, or being referred to, the service. This will include making outgoing calls, carrying out needs assessments and, on occasion, providing early intervention support.

The role of a Step Down Worker is to provide ongoing support to IDVA clients where the risk has been reduced to a safer level or where a client is referred into the service as medium/standard risk.. The post holder will provide ongoing support which is bespoke according to need and will work in a trauma informed way providing holistic support to aid client's recovery from abuse. This post will be part of the male IDVA team and will work collaboratively with the IDVAs to manage case loads.

What you'll do:
- Provide ongoing support with a range of client needs including but not limited to attendance at court hearings, mental health, substance issues, and housing support.
- Knowledge of the criminal justice system. Understanding of Marac protocols.
- Support clients to obtain orders where needed and any other civil remedies available to them.
- Working proactively with other members of the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities.
- Attending all court and Case Management hearings with clients
- Carry out administration tasks in line with the role as directed.
- Supporting clients to set personalised goals in the form of a Safety and Support Plan.
- Assisting in the recording and reporting of customer incidents.
- Managing any ongoing risks and creating safety plans when required.
- Raising concerns of any increase in risk levels to senior IDVAs.
- Attend case management session with IDVA Team Leader
- Developing productive relationships with partner organisations to improve service outcomes.
- Adhering to lone working protocols and maintaining high levels of awareness in relation to the
health and safety of yourself and colleagues.
- Encouraging clients to attend relevant programmes when appropriate.
- Ensuring Look Ahead Health and Safety policies and local protocols are adhered to
- Adhering to all other Look Ahead's policies and procedures.
- Engaging in learning and development activity to increase knowledge and skills.
- Undertaking any other duties consistent with the grade and nature of the post as assigned by the IDVA Manager.
