Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and execute the Education & Skill Development strategy and service line:
• Workshop Coordination: Organize quarterly workshops on key topics such as financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and job skills, ensuring these sessions are informative and engaging for the community.

Budgets and planning
· Prepare annual budget and obtain Trustee Board sign off each March
· Review and update forecast of annual outturn
Financial control and compliance
· Comply with the charity’s financial policies and procedures
·Liaise with the CEO to prepare costings for any funding bid applications
· Ensure capital expenditure authorisations and limits are followed, and prepare expenditure justifications where appropriate
· Ensure that money received is spend only on the purposes for which it was given and ensure that reports and accounts demonstrating this are submitted to funders
· Submit regular financial reports to national Citizens Advice as required, and meet all financial obligations of the Citizens Advice Membership scheme

Hope Against Suicide is a non-profit organisation committed to providing crucial listening, signposting, and advocacy support to anyone grappling with mental health issues. We aim to be a lifeline for those at risk of taking devastating actions. Our three key aims are to get the community talking again, improve mental health, and prevent suicide. We are launching a new Listening Hub in Bristol’s busy shopping centre. This walk-in service will support individuals with mental health issues, their families, and local workers. It complements our Mental Health Responders, enhancing outreach and community support. To run this program, we are looking for a new team of dedicated volunteers that want to support the cause of suicide prevention and raising mental health awareness.
Key Responsibilities
In a Listening Hub setting, the Mental Health and Wellbeing Officer plays a crucial role in providing compassionate and professional support to individuals seeking assistance with mental health challenges. During your shifts, your tasks will be a combination of the following:
- Providing support to those facing mental health challenges
- Allowing any visitors to share their personal experiences and feel supported / listened to
- Lead conversations with an emphasis on active listening and empathy
- Supporting an open, non-judgmental space open to all
- Optional: Facilitating regular community sessions that provide a relaxed and open space for meeting new people and sharing personal experiences. These can be based on any activity (e.g. crafts, sports).
- You will be expected to donate around 3 hours of your time either per week or fortnightly and to attend a Mental Health First Aid and Suicide First Aid training. Your shifts will be arranged to fit around your other commitments.

Time Commitments for trustees:

Overview
IHF, an award-winning International Non-profit established in 2001, is on a mission to (1) educate impoverished children, igniting their highest potential and fostering loving, healthy communities, and (2) enlighten global citizens through hands-on experiences, both online and in person. We provide a platform for learning and practicing leadership skills, welcoming participants from kindergarten to retirement age.
Join our IHF Indonesia Center for the Global Leadership Development (GLD) program and make a genuine impact during your stay as a volunteer.
The Role
As a GLD participant, you'll engage in four hours of local on-site tasks in addition to four hours per day as a member of various International Online Teams. Your local tasks may include, but are not limited to:

Providing hands-on support for the center's daily operations

Engaging in cultural exchange, teaching classes, and organizing fun activities for our children, teens, and university students

Enhancing our children's education by participating in our online mentor and Study-Buddy programs

Taking charge of the management, design, and execution of community-led projects aligned with your academic or professional expertise

Overseeing local and international volunteers, shaping their experience at our Indonesian IHF Centers.
Your international online tasks may include, but are not limited to:

Essential Requirements
We welcome volunteers who:
Have confidence in using basic English language (both spoken and written)
Possess a passion for international development, with a strong focus on universal education

Eligibility
The program calls for a college diploma or university degree and a minimum commitment of four months, although we encourage volunteers to stay for up to one year. All volunteers enjoy one day off per week and a four-day holiday per month.

Being a youth leader is an amazing opportunity for adults aged 18+ to teach valuable lifesaving skills to young people aged 10 – 17 in your area! Volunteering at least two hours per week could make a massive difference to these cadets now and have a real impact on your community.
But it's not all about what you'll give - you will learn a lot too!
As the cadets develop, so will you. You’ll gain communication, listening and presentation skills and grow in confidence. You’ll also have the chance to learn First Aid and take on more advanced roles with training, all while being fully supported by the rest of your team.

Main Duties & Objectives:
- Develop and implement a communications strategy for ADC’s HR initiatives
- Create engaging content for ADC’s internal general channel regarding new joiners, exits promotions and other HR-related topics to keep Volunteers updated of organizational changes
- Manage the creation and distribution of HR-related marketing materials, namely newsletters, messages for emails, messages for posts, scripts for presentations, etc., to raise internal awareness about HR Projects and Initiatives
- Plan and execute internal HR events (virtual and in-person), such as town halls, induction sessions, get-togethers, etc
- Serve as liaison between the People Team and other teams to facilitate open and transparent communication
- Track the effectiveness of internal communications initiatives through surveys, analytics, and ADC’s Executive Team feedback to continually improve internal communications practices
- Participate in HR project management meetings
Knowledge, skills, education, and experience
Essential
