We are looking for a passionate and articulate person to fill this role. We welcome applicants who may not have prior experience in the third sector but are enthusiastic and eager to learn. What this position entails

This role combines fundraising development and research efforts to secure essential funding for the charity, along with various administrative duties to assist the Operational Director in ensuring smooth operations.

Candidates should have a genuine interest in our mission and values, possess strong Internet research skills, and demonstrate a good command of spoken and written English. While we recognise the benefits of using AI for certain tasks, we cannot accept applications from volunteers who solely depend on AI for research and writing.

Preference will be given to volunteers who are experienced with social media platforms and can aid the Operational Director in creating and sharing content across our social media channels. Familiarity with Canva is a plus, although training will be provided.

You will work closely with our Operational Director, who will be your mentor, while taking the vital role of supporting our administrative and fundraising efforts, providing a great opportunity to make a lasting impact on our work.

As a volunteer-led charity, it’s essential for us to find someone who understands the importance of being part of our team and engaging in the growth of the charity. What do you need to become our Fundraising & Admin Assistant?

Essential:

· Strong skills in Internet research.

· Experience with Social Media channels and ability to create content.

· Good command of spoken and written English is essential.

· Experience with CRMs (we use Salesforce) and Canva for design is an advantage. But training will be provided if necessary.

Volunteer Classroom Assistant (Online) – English, Maths, Science  

Where:

We are delivering a free programme of online home school support to those who have been most negatively impacted by being out of school. Now that Schools have reopened, we will be continuing these sessions to ensure that learners do not fall behind as Schools focus on catching up on lost learning. The aim is to support children who may be falling behind with their studies and mitigating as far as possible the widening attainment gap.

Will be working and managing a team of three fundraising assistant volunteers who will also support our charity with Social Media activities. The key focus of the role is:

· Work towards developing a warm portfolio of donors, including large multi-year funders, seeking to extend their support wherever possible through close relationship fundraising.

· Researching, exploring and securing new business opportunities.

Main areas of responsibility:

·  Work closely with the Operational Director, Volunteer Marketing Manager and Volunteer Fundraising and Admin Assistants to develop innovative and persuasive proposals aimed at acquiring new partnerships and supporters.

· Thank funders promptly and ensure that regular progress reports and updates are received by supporters as and when required.

· Develop creative and exciting stewardship plans to enhance the long-term relationship between Willowbrook Farm Charity and our funders.

· Work on the fundraising cycle to identify new prospects securing new income.

· Identify new potential funders and match them to WBFC work.

· Prepare and submit high-quality funding proposals and budgets in accordance with timetables and application criteria.

· Maintain accurate records, analysis and reporting of new business secured.

Here at Youth4Youth, we have grown a strong, tight-knit community of individuals who are passionate about making a difference and improving the lives of young people across the UK. Our growing team of volunteers all contribute to the ongoing work with a level of time they can commit to across different departments. Our services primarily offer a peer-support network to young people allowing them to access a peer mentor of a similar age and somebody they feel comfortable speaking with.

About the Role:
NBKG is seeking a proactive and passionate Grants & Partnerships Lead to grow our impact by securing funding and forging meaningful collaborations. You'll lead grant writing, manage donor relations, and build strategic partnerships to support the expansion of the Kujali mental health and drug prevention program for youth across Kenya.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and apply for grants from local and international donors.
• Develop and manage funding proposals, budgets, and reports.
• Build partnerships with NGOs, government, research institutions, and corporates.
• Support resource mobilization strategy and sustainability planning.

Ideal Candidate:

• 3+ years in fundraising, grants management, or nonprofit development.

Role Description:
As the Grants Writer & Researcher, you will:

• Draft and submit grant proposals aligned with SheCanDo’s mission.

• Work closely with the Fundraising Lead to align grant goals with organizational priorities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong writing, editing, and research skills.

• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage deadlines.

This role is essential in ensuring smooth day-to-day HR functions, assisting with recruitment, compliance, and general HR administration. Key Responsibilities

Recruitment and Onboarding

• Assist with job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.

• Support the onboarding process for new volunteers and employees, ensuring all necessary documentation and induction materials are provided.

HR Administration & Compliance

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee and volunteer records.

• Ensure compliance with relevant employment and volunteering regulations.

• Assist with general HR administrative tasks, including using Monday. com for record-keeping and task management.

Policy and Employee Support

• Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.

• Act as a point of contact for HR-related queries from staff and volunteers.

Qualifications and Experience

• Some experience or knowledge of HR functions is desirable.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems 

• CIPD qualification or working towards one is advantageous but not essential.

About the role

As the Charity continues to grow, with a focus on developing commercial branches and advancing our charitable branches, we are seeking an experienced Solicitor who has experience in Charity Law. This individual would report directly to our General Counsel, volunteering on an ad-hoc basis to provide legal advice, guidance and support to the Charity. We are asking for, on average, 2 hours per week of support.

Responsibilities 

• Liaise with the General Counsel and team of Paralegals to ensure timely completion of required actions, within mutually agreed timeframes, to support the growth of the Charity.
• Provide key support to the General Counsel, presenting comprehensive legal advice and support to the CEO and Board of Directors/Trustees around key legal issues presented to the Charity.
• Support the development of long-term strategies, including supporting the advancement of the Charity, and any commercial subsidiaries.
• Where appropriate, develop and lead legal training.
• Prepare documents, evidence, arguments and identify legal precedents that can be used to justify the organisation's decisions and actions.
• Act as a point of contact to the organisation in relation to any legal matters or action.
• Support keeping the organisation up to date and informed of new and existing laws and regulations that are applicable to our operations and industry.

Skills 

• Be a qualified solicitor or recognised legal professional, with recent experience in providing legal advice and support to charities or companies in the UK.
• Experience as a solicitor or legal professional within the non-profit/charity sector is essential.
• Possess detailed knowledge of specific laws and regulations pertaining to the industry that Youth4Youth works in, as well as local laws within the United Kingdom.
• Ability to interpret and convey complex legal information in an understandable format.
• Public speaking skills and the ability to present and defend legal arguments.

As Youth4Youth continues to grow, we are focusing on strengthening the long-term financial sustainability of the Charity. We are seeking 3 - 4 experienced individuals to join the Board of Directors of a new Commercial Trading Subsidiary (Y4Y Trading Ltd, yet to be incorporated). This is an exciting opportunity for individuals to have a material impact on the success of the wider charity by promoting and ensuring commercial excellence throughout all commercial activities. 

Responsibilities 

• Attend 4 to 6 Board Meetings per year, each up to 1.5 hours in length and will be held remotely via teams. 
• Hold ultimate authority, in line with all management agreements between Y4Y Trading Ltd and Youth4Youth Ltd, to ensure the success of all commercial activities.
• Hold legal responsibility for the subsidiary entity, ensuring that all statutory requirements are met ahead of deadlines. 
• Constructively challenge opinions and biases to ensure the right decisions are made, with the ultimate aim of delivering maximum return to the charitable group.
• Providing scrutiny of executive and business performance in meeting agreed strategy, plan, goals and objectives, as well as monitoring reporting of performance.

Skills 

• Extensive strategic or leadership experience in relevant areas, including procurement, sales, operational management, vendor management, business development and other key commercial areas.
• Strong communication skills, able to actively challenge and drive decisions forward to the right outcome.
• Ability to foresee problems arising and present solutions to solve potential problems.
• Experience in commercial planning and budgeting desired.

Responsibilities 

• Liaise with the General Counsel and team of Paralegals to ensure timely completion of required actions, within mutually agreed timeframes, to support the growth of the Charity.
• Be present at meetings of the Trustees and Directors of the Charity and subsidiary companies to present Company Secretary business, ensure the smooth running of such meetings and take accurate notes.
• Prepare and circulate the formal minutes of Board meetings for review, and approval, and ensure appropriate filing of all approved minutes.
• Prepare and circulate for approval any required resolutions made by the Board of Trustees and Directors, and ensure appropriate filing of all approved resolutions.
• Facilitate the filing of all notices to both Companies House and the Charity Commission as required.
• Provide additional secretarial support to the Legal Team, supporting the General Counsel, other Legal Counsel and the Paralegals as required. 

Skills 

• Have experience as a practicing solicitor, paralegal, legal assistant or company secretary.
• Ability to process information quickly and take detailed notes to record conversations accurately.
• Ability to understand the broad functions of the organisation and interpret discussions to fit that understanding.
• Organisation and time management skills are required to ensure that deadlines are met, both internally set and regulatory deadlines.
