Job description

Join Us in Shaping the Future of Holistic Education - Become a Trustee at the Waldorf Learning Foundation!

Are you passionate about education that nurtures not only the mind but also the heart and soul? Do you believe in the transformative power of creativity-based, holistic education for children from all walks of life? If so, the Waldorf Learning Foundation needs your vision, expertise, and leadership as we enter an exciting new phase of growth.

Since its inception, the Foundation has worked tirelessly to reimagine the possibilities of education rooted in Rudolf Steiner's principles, offering young people an alternative, creative approach to learning that prepares them for a complex and ever-changing world. With strong partnerships in place, like the groundbreaking teacher training programme with Bath Spa University, and a clear vision to make Waldorf education accessible to all, this is a pivotal moment - and there is need for committed trustees to help bring the ambition to reality.

As a Trustee, you will:

* Play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the Foundation, ensuring the vision of accessible, high-quality, creative education becomes a reality.
* Support projects that contribute to social and environmental justice, neurodiversity, and holistic child development.
* Help build a more inclusive and diverse Board, dedicated to fostering education that speaks to every child's uniqueness.
* Join a passionate and supportive Board and work closely with a brilliant staff team as they refine its impact and expand its reach.

Waldorf Learning Foundation are particularly seeking trustees with expertise in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, Education Policy and Provision Design as well as Financial Governance.

This goes beyond simply being a governance role; it's an opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of children across the UK and beyond. If you are inspired by the mission and ready to be part of something transformative, we encourage you to apply and help shape the next chapter of Waldorf education.

Timeline:

Waldorf Learning Foundation will be hosting a Q&A Webinar on Wednesday 16th October (6-7pm), where they will share further insights and answer any additional questions you may have. Please register your interest in attending this webinar and we will send you a registration link:

Closing date for applications: Thursday 31st October
