Bright Futures UK works with young people who have been forced to take time out from education due to chronic illness. We provide programmes to help stimulate learning in addition to having a social aspect that offers respite to isolation these young people face due to their unfortunate circumstances.

We are urgently looking for warm and energetic volunteer tutors of all subjects to provide educational support and a fun, safe space for these young people. Tutoring experience is not essential as full training is given. Our sessions also are all currently online.

We need someone who is able to engage with young people in a positive and friendly way, helping them overcome their experiences and not feel defined by their illness. You would engage with a young person on a one-to-one basis to help catch up on their studies, increase their confidence in their own skills, and have some fun with them in order to help them progress.

The Methodist Church

Role Description

Liluye seeks a driven, empathetic, honest, strategic yet process-minded leader with experience in grant research and writing. We are especially looking for individuals who particularly are passionate about: women and girls’ empowerment, anti-trafficking awareness and prevention, circularity, and diversity and inclusion.

The Grant Writer will research, write, prepare, submit, and report on grant proposals to governments, corporations, and foundations. Additionally, they will be responsible for prospect research to seek out new sources of funding that support Liluye’s work. The following is preferred:

• 1-2 years of grant writing and researching experience with a proven track record in the nonprofit sector • Submit an average of 1 – 5 grant proposals per month • Manage, track, and report on existing grant activities

They will be researching and creating content, graphics, and copy for Liluye´s Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram pages. They should be passionate about anti-trafficking, slavery and/or women's rights. Applicants should be organized, very detail-oriented, flexible, friendly, disciplined, committed, and have some experience in creating graphics and copy. This is a home-based position so can be located anywhere globally. It is, however, imperative to have a reliable internet connection.
