IHF, an award-winning International Non-profit established in 2001, is on a mission to (1)

person. We provide a platform for learning and practicing leadership skills, welcoming
participants from kindergarten to retirement age.
Join our IHF Indonesia Center for the Global Leadership Development (GLD) program and
make a genuine impact during your stay as a volunteer.
The Role
As a GLD participant, you'll engage in four hours of local on-site tasks in addition to four hours
per day as a member of various International Online Teams. Your local tasks may include, but
are not limited to:
● Providing hands-on support for the center's daily operations
● Engaging in cultural exchange, teaching classes, and organizing fun activities for our
children, teens, and university students
● Enhancing our children's education by participating in our online mentor and
Study-Buddy programs
● Taking charge of the management, design, and execution of community-led projects
aligned with your academic or professional expertiseOverseeing local and international volunteers, shaping their experience at our Indonesian
IHF Centers.
Your international online tasks may include, but are not limited to:
● Budgeting and finance
● Donor relations and sponsorships
● Social media campaigns and fundraising

Essential Requirements
We welcome volunteers who:
Have confidence in using basic English language (both spoken and written)
Possess a passion for international development, with a strong focus on universal education
Share career development goals aligned with IHF's mission
Eligibility
The program calls for a college diploma or university degree and a minimum commitment of
four months, although we encourage volunteers to stay for up to one year. All volunteers enjoy
one day off per week and a four-day holiday per month.

Role Summary:
The Chair of the Board of Trustees will provide strategic leadership to Hidayah, ensuring the organization remains aligned with its mission to support and advocate for LGBTQ+ Muslims. The Chair will guide the Board of Trustees in effective governance and act as an ambassador for the charity within both the Muslim and LGBTQ+ communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Governance:
- Provide leadership to the Board, ensuring that Trustees fulfil their duties and responsibilities for the effective governance of the charity.
- Oversee the Board of Trustees’ operation, ensuring its members work collaboratively and effectively.
- Ensure the charity complies with its constitution, governing documents, charity law, and other relevant legislation/regulations.

We are looking for:
- An individual with strategic finance skills and a knowledge of financial investments who will chair our Finance and Investment Committee
- A trustee with communications skills, particularly in an international context
- A trustee who will expand our knowledge of housing in the least developed countries, and an understanding of the Climage Emergency and how it affects low-income communities.
We don’t expect candidates to bring experience in all of these areas.
World Habitat’s office is in central Leicester; Board meetings are held in person in Leicester, most meetings are held on a hybrid basis and there is the facility for trustees to attend online.
Time commitment: On average 6 to 8 days per year with four (two hour) Board of Trustee meetings per year + subcommittees, occasional strategy days and events.
Remuneration: The role of a Trustee is not remunerated, but reasonable out of pocket expenses, agreed in advance, are paid.
The term of appointment is three years; most Trustees serve two three-year terms on our Board.

Volunteer Role
We are looking for dedicated volunteers to join our team at the IHF Thailand Center in
Chiang Rai. Volunteers will gain invaluable experience in international team leadership,
coordination of center activities, and engagement with the local community

Humanity Foundation, including:

What We Offer

impoverished children in Indonesia, Kenya, and Thailand through our five IHF Centers.

Volunteer Role
We are looking for dedicated volunteers to join our team at the IHF Kenya Center in
Nakuru City. Volunteers will gain invaluable experience in international team leadership,
coordination of center activities, and engagement with the local community.
Responsibilities
● Participate in rotational assignments in the core components of the International
Humanity Foundation, including
• Center operations
○ Legalities
○ Community development
○ Finance
○ Fundraising
○ Media and communications
○ And more
● Assist in coordinating center activities
● Report to the CEO and Center Directors
What We Offer
● Accommodation: Room with bed and mattress provided.
● Electricity and Wi-Fi: Stable network to carry on online tasks.
● Global Leadership Development (GLD): A one-year training program equipping
you with skills to run an international organization as a director.
● Stipend:
○ $35/month for the first 3 months
○ $65/month for months 4-6
○ $85/month for months 7-9
○ $100/month for months 10-12
● Potential Employment: After one year of successfully completing the GLD
training, volunteers may be considered for employment positions within the
organization, if available.

● Valid police clearance/good conduct certificate issued by the government

About the Institute of Psychoanalysis
The British Psychoanalytical Society was founded in 1913. With around 500 members, we are a UK wide and international community of professionals, dedicated to helping people enhance their lives through an intensive talking therapy, psychoanalysis. The Institute of Psychoanalysis (IoPA) is the outward face and training body of the British Psychoanalytic Society.
About the role
The Honorary Treasurer is a Trustee of the Society, sharing collective responsibility with the Board for its strategic oversight. Key responsibilities include overseeing the Society’s finances and advising the Board on financial matters.
The Honorary Treasurer attends regular monthly finance meetings and monthly Board meetings (3rd Monday evening of the month), all currently held remotely. The Honorary Treasurer also attends the AGM, Informal Meetings and Board Study Days.
Additionally, the Honorary Treasurer chairs the Finance Sub Committee (FSC) of the Board, which provides key financial recommendations on the budget and other financial decisions, including investment advisor reports. They oversee financial management processes managed by the CEO and Head of Finance, making independent recommendations to the Board, with input from the FSC as needed. The Honorary Treasurer has responsibility to feedback advice from the FSC to the Board.
Principle duties
- On behalf of the Board ensure proper accounting records are kept and financial resources are properly controlled, invested and economically spent, in line with good governance, legal and regulatory requirements.
- As the Chair of the Finance sub-committee (FSC) of the Board and together with the FSC, support the Board and the Executive in their responsibility for ensuring a sound approach to financial decisions.
- Act as a counter signatory in line with the organisation’s delegation of authority.
- Serve as the Board’s liaison with external auditors on specific issues such as the auditors’ management letter, remuneration and related board representations.
- Inform Society members on relevant financial matters, including notification of annual dues and presenting annual accounts with the Head of Finance.
