Job description

Do have a love of Music?  Would you like to join us and play on our piano? 

We are looking for a friendly volunteer to share your musical skills with people we support in Burghfield. We have a piano at the house but other instruments are also welcome to bring along!

Activities will include:  

  • Visiting the people support to share time and music together.  You will be playing to a group of people and lively songs will be popular! 

  • Playing an instrument, either the Piano we have at the house or your own to bring along.  
  • Chatting away with a cup of tea and building friendships   


Activities will NOT include: Personal care, medication or financial assistance.  

We are looking for volunteers who are:  

  • Confident to play a musical instrument with people we support (any level of skill is welcome)   

  • Comfortable to play in front of people  

  • Happy to take requests and share ideas   

  • Friendly and enthusiastic   

  • Reliable/dependable and willing to volunteer regularly (days/times to be agreed)  


A DBS check and two character references will be required for this role.    

What you’ll gain from being a Dimensions volunteer:
