Overview
IHF, an award-winning International Non-profit established in 2001, is on a mission to (1)
educate impoverished children, igniting their highest potential and fostering loving, healthy
communities, and (2) enlighten global citizens through hands-on experiences, both online and in
person. We provide a platform for learning and practicing leadership skills, welcoming
participants from kindergarten to retirement age.
Join our IHF Indonesia Center for the Global Leadership Development (GLD) program and
make a genuine impact during your stay as a volunteer.
The Role
As a GLD participant, you'll engage in four hours of local on-site tasks in addition to four hours
per day as a member of various International Online Teams. Your local tasks may include, but
are not limited to:
● Providing hands-on support for the center's daily operations
● Engaging in cultural exchange, teaching classes, and organizing fun activities for our
children, teens, and university students
● Enhancing our children's education by participating in our online mentor and
Study-Buddy programs
● Taking charge of the management, design, and execution of community-led projects
aligned with your academic or professional expertiseOverseeing local and international volunteers, shaping their experience at our Indonesian
IHF Centers.
Your international online tasks may include, but are not limited to:
● Budgeting and finance
● Donor relations and sponsorships
● Social media campaigns and fundraising

Essential Requirements
We welcome volunteers who:
Have confidence in using basic English language (both spoken and written)
Possess a passion for international development, with a strong focus on universal education
Share career development goals aligned with IHF's mission
Eligibility
The program calls for a college diploma or university degree and a minimum commitment of
four months, although we encourage volunteers to stay for up to one year. All volunteers enjoy
one day off per week and a four-day holiday per month.

RETAIL VOLUNTEER SUPERVISOR

About Been There:
Been There is a small (but growing!) charity in the form of an app that connects people aged 18 and over with a vetted and trained mentor to help with any body image issues they may be experiencing. This gives them the opportunity to speak to someone who has ‘Been There’ themselves. Our Mentors are here to support, empower and, most importantly, listen.
About the role:
If you are an experienced fundraiser, we need your help! Been There’s Board of Trustees share ultimate responsibility for governing the charity and directing how it is managed and run. As a member of the Board, you will help set the strategic aims, objectives and direction of the charity. The skills and knowledge you bring will enhance the Board and support Been There in achieving its charitable objectives
As a Fundraising Trustee, you will play a key role within our charity in assisting the Board to develop an ambitious fundraising strategy and help us to further improve the effectiveness of our income generation so we can maximise the number of service users we can provide support to. You will help to ensure our fundraising is of the highest standard and that we are meeting our fundraising objectives as well as complying with our legal duties. Alongside relevant experience, you will also possess an ability to work to tight deadlines, prioritising multiple tasks, and will be a natural team player with excellent written and spoken English.
Board meetings are held every other month for 2 hours (two via Zoom and one per quarter in Kingston-Upon-Thames). If required, this role can be completely remote and you can attend the quarterly meeting over video call.
Role Summary:
· To assist the Board of Trustees to develop a comprehensive fundraising strategy for Been There
· To guide, support, and challenge the Communications Manager and fundraising volunteers.
· To report to the Trustees on a regular basis, giving an update on fundraising achievements, plans, and progress.
· To ensure fundraising is of the highest standard and priority within a robust governance framework that meets all relevant legislation.
Main Responsibilities:
· Oversee fundraising to make sure it is carried out in legal, honest, and accountable ways.
· Strategically assess where fundraising fits into the overall charity strategy, and work with the Trustees to ensure effective income generation is being achieved.
· Contributing knowledge of fundraising techniques, best practice, and strategies.
· Assessing risks in new fundraising directions, alerting the Board of Trustees in a timely manner, as and when necessary, of key concerns.
· To report to the Board at a strategic level on the successes and challenges of the fundraising strategy.
· To help the charity further develop its fundraising capabilities through effective people and processes.
· On an ad hoc basis, to work with the Chair of Trustees and the Communications Manager, outside of the Trustee meetings, to support and develop the fundraising strategy.
Person Specification:
· To have substantial background as a senior charity fundraiser with a sound understanding and experience of charity fundraising at strategic and operational levels.
· A good understanding of fundraising within a small charity and the challenges facing small charities.
· Experience of diverse income generation practices.
· Sound, independent judgement and ability to think creatively.
· Ability to give constructive feedback and provide challenge.
· Experience in the charitable or voluntary sector.
· An ability to work to tight deadlines, ensuring prioritisation of multiple tasks.
· A natural team player with excellent written and spoken English

We are a volunteer-led registered charity, currently run by 5 trustees, all with experience of working in Burkina Faso. We work with partner organisations in Burkina Faso to strengthen their capacities to promote and protect the rights of persons with disabilities to live in a fully inclusive society. Currently, we are working with our partners to support children and adults with disabilities to access education and training opportunities, as well as on developing income-generating activities.

Purpose of Role
The main purpose of the post is to manage the Gift Shop for Swanage Pier Trust. This is a customer facing role and will require good customer service, retail and administration skills. A good knowledge of retail will help. The postholder will need some experience in a retail role. A flexible approach and a great sense of humour will help.
Task Duties
To be responsible for the trust gift shop and act as a first point of contact for visitors, members of the public, trustees, volunteers and staff.
To have a flexible working approach and to help coordinate cover by volunteers and staff at all other times.
To efficiently manage and direct enquiries.
To be responsible for the sale of merchandise in the shop and online and to oversee shop stock levels.
To liaise with shop suppliers, place orders and record new stock on the till system.
To ensure that the gift shop area and displays are kept tidy, stocked and well presented.

Job Purpose
To lead the Board of Trustees in setting the strategic direction and ensuring effective governance of Palace for Life Foundation, the official charity of Crystal Palace Football Club. The Chair will champion the Foundation's vision and values, ensuring resources and support are in place to achieve the Foundation's mission to transform young people’s lives across south London.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Governance
- Lead the Board in setting the Foundation’s strategic direction and ensuring effective governance, working in close partnership with the management team.
- Act as a link between the Board and the management team, particularly at Chief Executive level.
- Act as a conduit between the Foundation and CPFC, maintaining a strong relationship between the two.
- Ensure the Board fulfills its duties to provide sound financial oversight and manage risks.
- Chair Board meetings, ensuring they are productive and efficient.
- Promote a culture of openness, transparency, and constructive challenge within the Board.
- Provide oversight and guidance to the Chief Executive, including facilitating their professional development.
- Engage with staff members across the Foundation periodically to understand their needs, challenges, and contributions, fostering a culture of open communication and collaboration.
- Promote an effective safeguarding culture, supporting the trustees in developing their individual and collective understanding of safeguarding, as well as having an awareness of safeguarding arrangements across the organisation.

Strategic Partnership and Advocacy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the owners and senior leadership at Crystal Palace F.C. (CPFC), the Premier League and other key stakeholders.
- Advocate for the Foundation’s mission, engaging with the local community, statutory bodies, and voluntary sectors to foster partnerships.
- Ensure the Foundation’s activities align with the needs of the local community, particularly addressing the challenges faced by young people in south London.
Community and Stakeholder Engagement
- Represent the Foundation at external events and functions.
- Engage with local community groups, understanding their challenges and aspirations.
- Promote the Foundation’s work and impact through effective communication and networking.
Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI)
- Champion EDI within the Foundation and in its external activities.
