EQOL is seeking two new trustees who share our vision that every neurodiverse adult should feel understood, empowered and supported to thrive. We are particularly looking for:

Someone with lived experience of neurodiversity: Whether that’s personal experience or supporting a loved one, who can bring real insight into our governance and strategy.

Someone with strong networks or community reach: Who can help open doors for partnerships, funding and awareness.

As a trustee, you’ll work with us to strengthen governance, develop strategy and ensure our services reflect the real needs of the people we serve. You’ll bring your voice, your perspective and your heart to a board that values collaboration, empowerment and innovation.

Time commitment: 4–6 hours a month

The Learning without Limits Academy Trust is looking for ambitious, committed, and motivated volunteers, who share our values and passion for inspiring education, to become a governor, joining the Local Governing Body at one of its five academies.

The Role

The LGB and Board of Trustees as a whole are collectively responsible for the success of the academy. The LGB’s:

• provide support and challenge with regard to the strategic approach which drives the operation of the academy in terms of learning, standards, safety and wellbeing.
• act as a critical friend to the Principal and to advise the Trust Board about local issues they need to consider that affect the academy
• represent the interests of the academy community in the running of the academy and to represent the academy in its community.
• engage with pupils, staff, parents and the wider academy community to understand their views

in their role, Governors:

• attend four LGB meetings each year.
• get to know the school, including visiting the school occasionally during school hours.
• attend regular relevant training and development events.

Volunteering as a Governor provides the opportunity to make a significant and positive impact on the lives of young people in their community. Volunteer-led East London Waterworks Park won a 2024 NLA award and raised £2m towards buying the 14-acre Thames Water Depot (Lea Bridge Road) to turn into a new biodiverse park with natural swimming, forest schools, and community spaces.

We are looking for user experience researchers to participate in our community-led working group who are growing support of the project. There is opportunity to lead on projects exploring how architects, ecologists, community researchers, political campaigners, fundraisers and communications professions come together to create community infrastructure.  Online meetings are every 4 weeks on a Tuesday evening on Google Meet with remote tasks.

Role Description

We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Manager to help us amplify our impact online and make our value proposition instantly understandable for citizens and companies. Our main channel is Instagram (8000+ organic followers, ~8% engagement), with content repurposed for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Threads and Facebook.

Key Responsibilities

• �� Actively engage with Instagram trends related to #plogging, #cleanup, #environment
• �� Create 2 short-form videos per week (Reels / Shorts), repurposed across platforms
• �� Publish 2 weekly posts highlighting community cleanups, impact or partners
• ��️ Plan and schedule content consistently �� Support growth and engagement of CSFN social channels
• ✍️ Occasionally support blog / caption writing (SEO basics can be taught)

Required Skills & Profile
