Main purpose of job:
The Talent Acquisition Manager will focus on talent sourcing, candidate identification, networking and relationship building with potential candidates, and develop and manage ADC recruitment processes, procedures and systems.

Main Duties and Objectives:
- Perform job analysis, develop and update job descriptions and specifications
- Implement recruiting and sourcing strategies
- Post opportunities, screen incoming CV’s, set up interviews, and onboard new volunteers
- Communicate with Service Desk to remedy incoming volunteer Microsoft Teams account issues
- Maintain internal records with confidentiality and ensure that data is accurate and up to date
- Action onboarding and offboarding processes and liaise with all parties involved
- Identify opportunities in recruitment and onboarding procedures to improve candidate experience
- Analyse Talent Acquisition data and create reports to present to c-level management
- Own and track recruitment related KPI’s
- Monitor and respond in a timely manner to inquiries in the Recruitment inbox
- Perform other ad-hoc assignments as needed
Knowledge, skills, education, and experience
Essential
- At least 4 years' experience in a senior level recruitment position
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent) or working towards this
- Competence in sourcing utilizing LinkedIn, Boolean and social media
- Proficient in cloud based ATS, CMS, and Microsoft 365
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Well-organized
- Available to volunteer at least 7-10 hours a week
Desirable
- Experience working in a start-up enviornment
- Ability to attend bi-weekly management and People & Culture meetings

We Stand is the only national charity that specialises in helping non-abusing parents and carers to protect and support their sexually abused children.
Our Mission is to provide support in a non - judgmental environment for non abusing parents and carers of sexually abused children.
Our Services help families at a time of extreme trauma caused by child sexual abuse – providing emotional and practical support to young victims, siblings and non-abusing parents/carers so that they can move on positively with their lives together.
We are in exciting times as we develop new services across the UK and have recently launched a new program of work in Wales.
We Stand is run by a Board made up of Trustees. We are seeking committed and passionate individuals, we are particularly interested in applications from those with the following experience but also we are interested in applicants from diverse backgrounds and experiences, to support our work.

About us
At The Catalyst Collective, we believe that mentoring can be a powerful intervention in the lives of young women. Since 2021, we’ve recruited, trained, matched and supported professional Black women with Black teenagers for year-long mentoring relationships.
What we’re looking for
As we prepare to launch our newest cohort in September and October 2024, we’re looking for Black women who are able to commit at least 1 hour per month for mentoring. Mentors can work in any professional fields.
Please note this is not a paid position and we do not charge mentees to participate in our programmes.
As we offer training and support to all mentors, you do not need prior experience as a mentor to volunteer with us.
Your role as a mentor
As a mentor, you’ll play a key role in supporting Black female students in years 9 to 13 to achieve their goals.
How it works
Mentoring pairs meet once a month virtually (using our mentoring platform or over Zoom/MS Teams/Google Meet) and these meetings typically last for 1 hour. The mentoring journey kicks off with a virtual Mentor Match session with other mentoring pairs on the cohort.
All mentoring pairs are allocated a Mentoring Coordinator who is the first port of call for all questions and queries.
Mentoring Coordinators meet with mentors monthly and troubleshoot issues, provide session ideas and help to keep the relationship on track.
We also plan group trips and events based around a range of themes to complement 1:1 sessions.
Application Process
As part of our application process, you’ll have an informal interview with a member of The Catalyst team.
If selected as a mentor, you’ll need to undergo a DBS check and provide details of 2 character references. The cost of the DBS check is covered by The Catalyst Collective. Prior to meeting your mentee, you’ll also attend mandatory mentoring and safeguarding training.

What will you be doing?
The role of the Chair is to provide strong leadership and direction to the Board of Trustees to enable the Board to fulfil their responsibilities for the overall governance and strategic direction of the organisation. As the Chair you will ensure that the organisation complies with its governing document, charity law, company law and any other relevant legislation or statutory regulations. You will work in partnership with the Chief Executive to achieve the aims of the organisation; and to optimise the relationship between the Board of Trustees and the staff team.

Replenishment and Merchandising Volunteer - New Volunteer Oppportunity in Acorn's Children's Hospice Superstore - opening soon in Tewkesbury!
The Role
Acorns have a network of shops across the West Midlands that generate a substantial level of income to enable us to care for children and their families. Our empowered Replenishment and Merchandising Volunteers support the team by replenishing stock on the shop floor and by merchandising it in an eye catching and engaging fashion.
How much time will it take?
Our shops are open Monday to Saturday (some open on Sundays too), 9am to 5pm. You can volunteer the hours that suit you, but ideally we’ll need you to be available for at least 3 hours per week.

Volunteering for Sense
Our amazing team of volunteers help us run over 100 shops across England and Wales. Every donated item that you sort, prepare and sell helps to raise vital funds to support us in our mission to make sure no one, no matter how complex their disabilities, is isolated, left out, or unable to fulfil their potential. Our shops are at the heart of local communities – sharing the work of Sense, and helping to secure support for our life changing work.
What your role will involve
There are a variety of tasks that you can get involved with in the shop, including:
- Welcoming and assisting customers, providing great customer service and a fantastic shopping experience
- Receiving donated goods from members of the public
- Sorting, steaming, tagging and preparing donated goods for sale
- Creating eye catching window and in-shop displays
- Keeping the shop floor well stocked, tidy, clean and organised
- Processing sales and serving on the till
- Promoting Gift Aid and other Sense fundraising initiatives
- Acting as an ambassador for Sense; promoting the shop and Sense in your local community
- Supporting with the recruitment and training of new volunteers
- Following new health, safety and social distancing measures to ensure the safety of everyone
