Who we are

The Talbot Village Trust is driven, brave, impactful and kind. We support the communities of south-east Dorset to succeed and thrive, to strengthen ties and seize opportunities. Our work helps them create and explore, learn, achieve and transform their own lives for good.   We help our communities fulfil their potential and truly live well - now and for generations to come.

We achieve this by working in partnership with charities and other local impact organisations providing grants to help deliver much needed services across Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Purbeck and east Dorset. We also manage an estate combining the historic Talbot Village, residential and institutional lettings, woodland, and an urban heath. We have distributed over £10 million in funds through 650 awards across south-east Dorset over the past decade.

We have a committed board of trustees and are currently investing in a small but growing team of staff.
