About Us

Adventures for Animals was established as a fundraising initiative of IAPWA to empower passionate individuals to explore the world whilst changing it for animals in need. Volunteer Role Overview

We’re looking for a creative and reliable Volunteer Social Media Assistant to help grow and maintain our online presence. This is a flexible, fully remote volunteer role ideal for someone passionate about animal welfare, adventure, travel, and digital storytelling.

While the role does not involve travel itself, we’re looking for someone who enjoys the adventure and travel space and can help bring that energy into engaging social media content whilst integrating some of the animal welfare stories from IAPWA.

The position is designed to fit around your schedule, with an expectation of approximately 2 posts or reels per week.

Responsibilities

• Create and schedule engaging social media content for Instagram and Facebook
• Design simple graphics, reels, captions, and stories aligned with our brand and mission
• Help maintain a consistent social media presence
• Source and repurpose existing content where appropriate
• Write captions that encourage engagement and awareness around animal welfare and adventure-related topics
• Engage with and grow our online community and increase overall reach
