As a Citizens Advice Benefits Form Filler, you will be providing essential support to residents in your community who need help to receive the financial help they need.
After appropriate training, you will help residents to complete disability and sickness applications, grants and travel support.
- attend training and keep up to date, supported as part of a team fill in paper or online forms for Attendance Allowance, Personal Independence Payments, Limited Capability for Work, discretionary housing payments complete benefit checks to identify any other help
- apply for charity and other grants or other help such support people either in person at one of our offices or community locations, by phone or video.

What do you need to have?
You don’t need specific qualifications or skills but you’ll need to: Be friendly and approachable be non-judgmental and respect views, values and cultures that are different to your own have a positive attitude towards fundraising have excellent verbal and written communication skills have good IT skills be willing to learn about and follow the Citizens Advice aims, principles and policies, including confidentiality and data protection be willing to undertake training in your role.

You’ll play a vital role in gathering and curating high-quality information to support The SAF’s mission, helping us connect with creatives, venues, and collaborators, while uncovering opportunities to expand our reach and impact. This position is perfect for someone passionate about spirituality and the arts, who thrives on deep-dive research, strategic outreach, and meaningful connection-building.
SAF Research Teams:As a Volunteer Internet Researcher, you will have the opportunity to contribute to one or more of the following specialized sub-teams based on your interests and skills:
- New Member Team
- Identify and invite UK-based creatives (artists, musicians, filmmakers, writers) producing spiritually influenced work to join the SAF community.
- Research individuals whose work aligns with SAF’s mission and values.
- Writer Outreach Team
- Reach out to writers and journalists to contribute original articles on topics such as art history, spiritual events, influential figures, or re-publish existing relevant content.
- Maintain a list of potential contributors and manage correspondence.
- Venue Research Team
- Locate and evaluate potential venues for SAF events, focusing on cost-effectiveness and logistical viability.
- Research both London-based locations and broader opportunities for larger-scale or remote events.
- Partnership Team
- Explore collaborations with spiritual organizations, businesses, and individuals to facilitate shared content, venue access, and promotional opportunities.
- Build and maintain a database of partnership leads and contacts.
- High-Profile Outreach Team
- Target celebrities, influencers, and funders within the spirituality space to amplify SAF’s mission.
- Work on cultivating connections with individuals who can bring visibility or resources to SAF initiatives.
- Funding Research Team
- Identify and assess grant opportunities that align with SAF’s objectives.
- Compile detailed reports on viable funding sources and their application processes.
- Media Focus Team
- Research TV, radio, and podcast opportunities to promote SAF’s mission through interviews and media exposure.
- Suggest topics and formats that align with SAF’s brand and goals.
