During the last few years we have been working with international volunteers from all over the world developing activities and projects aimed at the organization and empowerment of groups of Andean migrant women in areas and populations in extreme poverty, in the Peruvian Andes.
We focus on aspects such as gender equality, gender issues and sociocultural exclusion of internal immigrants, domestic violence, sexuality, reproductive and preventive health, nutrition and other topics related to these.
Our way of working is quite direct, developing our work face to face in the same place and setting of social and cultural reality, with a well-coordinated teamwork between the organization, the volunteers and the communities, enabling a greater and better impact. . positive in the lives of these people

OneSpirit Interfaith Foundation was established as an educational charity in 2003. Formal trustee meetings take place with senior staff quarterly, and we hold up to nine trustee-only meetings annually. To ensure our work is collaborative, we also have an annual two-day gathering of trustees and the wider leadership team. All trustees are volunteers, with expenses available for travel to and from meetings and other incidental expenses where applicable. Please note that meetings are currently being held via Zoom.

We try to solve the problems we’re struggling with in life from the big things to the everyday mundane challenges. We try to solve our problems individually and also as a collective community, tackling the problems in alternative and creative ways. We aim to be an intergenerational project - all ages and all kinds from families’ welcome.
We have a number of volunteer roles to join our committee and to support our projects. We are seeking people who can offer around 1-5 hours a week commitment (in person, online or both). Co-Chairs - 2 roles
The Co-Chairs will act as a figurehead for Grow Your Life and represent us at meetings and public events. The Chairs will lead the committee in setting strategies and ensure that the committee fulfils its responsibilities for the governance of the group.
Other duties include;
- leading meetings
- setting and approving agendas
- signing cheques and legal documents
Secretary - 2 roles
The Secretary’s role is to support the Chairs by ensuring the smooth administrational running of the group’s board.
The Secretaries will be responsible for (or delegate the task of);
- taking, writing, and circulating minutes.
- preparing and circulating agendas as agreed by the chair.
- booking rooms and arranging meetings.
- keeping the organisation’s constitution, a copy of minutes and other records in a safe place.
Treasurer - 2 roles
The Treasurer’s role is to oversee the financial affairs of the group.
The Treasurers will work with the board and any paid staff or volunteers to carry out the following tasks:
- keep accurate, up-to-date financial records.
- produce end-of-year accounts – or arrange for these to be completed and externally examined.
- check bank statements and reconcile them with the cash book/ current account book on a regular basis.
- ensure that understandable systems are in place for petty cash claims.
- ensure that bills are paid promptly, and all income is banked on a regular basis.
- report regularly to the committee on the financial situation.
- report to the Annual General Meeting on the end-of-year accounts.
- prepare an annual budget for the committee, working with the Chair.
Fundraising:

- Identifying funders and completing funding applications

At Carers Support, we recognise that being a carer comes with many different challenges. We are there for unpaid carers when they are most in need, by providing a range of different services to support them. At CSWS we are working towards a world where carers are seen, heard and included.
We are looking to recruit Trustees who have interest, enthusiasm and energy to help with our support to unpaid family and friend carers in West Sussex.
What will you be doing?
The Board of Trustees is responsible for the governance and strategic direction of the Charity, developing the aims, objectives and goals of the organisation and overseeing and guiding the work of the Chief Executive and Leadership Team.
As a trustee you will get involved in:
- Setting the strategic direction of the charity.
- Supporting the leadership team with your guidance, experience and expertise.
- Monitoring progress.
- Acting as a link and being an ambassador for the charity in the local community.
Time Commitment
The Board currently meets 6 times per year on the last Thursday of the month from 6-8pm. From 2025, this will go down to 4 times a year with half of the board meetings being held online and the other half face2face. Board meetings are scheduled for early evening to allow people to manage around work as needed.
CSWS is committed to providing an induction to help new trustees develop their understanding of the charity as well as further training for Trustees as and when needed and a Governance Action Plan ensures that appropriate arrangements are in place.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for individuals who have a strong empathy with our mission, a collegiate approach and first-rate communication skills.

New Business Development:
A background in senior management, ideally but not essentially with some marketing and communications expertise in generating public/customer interest and awareness. Able to demonstrate a background in relationship development and growing profitably the revenue of a business. Strategic experience in developing commercial plans that support and generate increased income. A background within either the Health or Social Care sector is a desirable but not an essential.
Fundraising:
Individuals with a proven track record in fundraising at a mid to senior level, with a deep understanding of various fundraising methods. Applicants with experience in the following areas would be particularly welcomed: Trusts, Grants and Corporate Partnerships. You will have a sound understanding of and experience in charity fundraising both at an operational and ideally a strategic level.

About the Role
The Bridge Project is a well-established Bradford based charity with over 35 years’ experience delivering services and projects addressing a range of issues such as substance misuse, risk taking behaviours, relationships, housing, physical/mental health, and employment. We work with individuals, families, partners, and communities to improve people’s lives in a sustainable way, empowering people experiencing multiple barriers to achieve positive change.
We currently employ over 120 staff, 40% of whom are ‘experts by experience’ and have joined us through our volunteering programme. We are recognised as being innovative and recovery focused, and our services have been highlighted nationally as examples of best practice in the sector. Our portfolio of services and projects are constantly evolving in response to the changing needs of our service users and our local communities. Currently this includes recovery focussed drug treatment services, housing and resettlement support, access to education, training, and employment (ETE), volunteering programmes, support for people engaged with criminal justice services and befriending/mentoring services for people with significant barriers to recovery and community reengagement.

Our Trustees play a pivotal role in governing the Bridge Project. They are responsible for setting our strategic vision and priorities, ensuring our financial sustainability, and providing guidance and oversight to our operations. Designability is a national charity who for over 50 years have created equality of opportunity for disabled people, by removing barriers to independence, enabling them to live the life they choose.
Following a person-centred design approach, and by including disabled people at each point of the design process, we ensure their ideas and lived experiences are taken onboard and that what we create reflects people’s needs as well as products and services they want to use. We are best known for the iconic Wizzybug powered wheelchairs for very young disabled children. To date, they have been loaned to over 1,400 children, typically aged between 14 months and 5 years, across the UK completed free of charge thanks to the support of our generous donors.
Designability has a strong leadership team and we appointed a new Chief Executive at the beginning of 2024 who has over 20 years of experience as a founder, leader and consultant in a wide range of start-ups, commercial, public sector and not-for-profit environments. As we come the end of the first year of an ambitious three-year strategy, we are in a strong financial position with healthy reserves, and celebrated the end of 2023 with a highly successful televised BBC Lifeline Appeal demonstrating the impact of our work to a new and wider audience.
Having reviewed the skills, experience and diversity of current trustees, we would welcome candidates with experience in the following area:
Clinical expertise with experience of working with disabled people. This could include experience gained through a senior position in occupational therapy, physiotherapy or rehabilitation engineering or rehabilitation medicine.
Working as a team, trustees have three main responsibilities:
· To set a clear direction for Designability.
· To make sure that the charity’s plans are being carried out appropriately.
· To ensure that the charity meets its legal responsibilities .
All new trustees take part in an induction programme with the Chief Executive and Directors of each department and are offered ongoing training and support.

The Chair of the Board of Trustees will lead the strategic direction and governance of Goals 4 Girls, ensuring the charity achieves its mission of breaking down economic barriers within sports and education for girls. This role requires a leader who is not currently serving as a chair or trustee on another board, therefore able to dedicate and commit to Goals4Girls. The Chair will oversee the charity’s governance, strategic development, and financial management while embodying the values and passion for empowering young women and girls as well as complying with the Charity Commission and other regulatory bodies requirements.
This is an active role, where time will need to be invested regularly outside of meetings to support this small charity so would suit an individual who has the availability to fulfill this requirement. Track Acadermy is a small but highly respected sport for social change charity in North West London. We are essential in the local community and are currently seeking a proactive and postive Chair of Trustees to lead and bolster our board and give the support to staff, volunteers and coaches to help change young lives in London.

Two Rhythms is an accessible arts charity. We use light, colour, music, touch and movement to bring joy, friendship and imagination to people with profound physical and learning disabilities. It all begins with a breath and a heartbeat!

From our base in the Wales Millennium Centre, we welcome people of all ages with a broad range of physical and mental health needs. We support them with breathing techniques, massage, music, dance, and relaxation. Every session is unique and tailored to the needs of our guests. We love what we do and the difference we make.
Throughout 2024 we are celebrating our 25th anniversary, which began with the charity rebranding from its previous name ‘Touch Trust’. Our new identity is more inclusive and is part of a campaign to grow the charity’s awareness and reach. In addition, we are currently building capacity and will be opening a second site in North Cardiff later this summer. After a difficult few years responding to the pandemic, Two Rhythms is looking to develop its income generation potential, forge new collaborations and take advantage of new opportunities.

The role
We have the opportunity to appoint two trustees to join our trustee Board, bringing a blend of experience and expertise to help ensure the charity continues to have maximum impact as well as overseeing the fantastic work being undertaken by our dedicated staff, volunteers and supporters, which is to save and improve the lives of those diagnosed and affected by breast cancer.
Our trustee Board meets 5 times a year, normally in London. In addition to this, you will also be a member on at least 1 sub-committee which will be dependent on your areas of expertise and at the request of the Chair. Sub-committees meet up to 3 times a year.
About you
You have the ability to use your skills to ensure good governance through your strategic insight, sound advice and constructive challenge to help the trustee board undertake their responsibilities of scrutiny and support. To do this, you must have experience and interest in either:
Digital, data or design with the ability to provide insights and strategic expertise on how we can harness the benefits of evolving technology and digital routes to grow our impact.

Risk management.
