- Content Creation: Develop and schedule engaging content and social media posts across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, in our newsletter and on our website
- Campaign Support: Collaborate with the team to promote upcoming events and campaigns.
- Storytelling: Share success stories and highlight the impact of HFTF’s work, on our blog, socials etc., and develop case studies to illustrate the elements and impacts of our work.
- Website support: Update the website with new content such as blog posts and new information about our services with guidance from our team.
- Community Engagement: Engage with and respond to content, comments and messages across socials, fostering a supportive online environment.
- Analytics & Improvement: Monitor performance metrics and suggest how we can adapt and improve content to increase engagement.

- Web copywriting: Create and update engaging content for our website that adheres to our brand
· Email/E-Newsletter content: Write compelling email content for our various e-newsletters that is relevant and has clear call-to-actions. This will be in conjunction with our email marketing volunteers
· Communication materials review: Review our existing communications materials. Recommend edits that will provide us with consistency in writing style and tone, accurate spelling and grammar, and a clear and engaging voice for our organisation. Evaluate the way we communicate with volunteers, members of the public and helping us to develop better ways of doing this
· Social media snippets - create information and case study snippets for the various social media platforms
· Press Releases and any content that could be used in different channel

Community Learning Network Digital Volunteers – 6-8 hours per week
Working with our Community Learning Network Digital Product Owner you’ll support with developing and maintaining training and guidance for people using Turning Pages Digital and Count Me In Digital. You monitor the helpdesk for both platforms, analysing and responding to queries and resolving any issues or problems.

TERMS OF APPOINTMENT
Remuneration: this role is not accompanied by any financial remuneration, although reasonable expenses may be claimed.
Time commitment: While the exact time commitment may vary based on the charity’s needs and priorities, we anticipate the following general expectations:
- Four committee meetings per year.
- Preparation for meetings, review of materials, and other engagement as appropriate.
- Online meetings with the Director of Development, and Fundraising Committee Chair as appropriate.
- Representing the charity at high profile events, functions and public engagements to enhance its reputation and partnerships.
Location: At present, committee meetings are held remotely.

We are on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated volunteer who can commit to a few hours to help us design a number of needed digital and print graphic designs such as social media graphics, promotional materials, event graphics, fundraising campaign graphics, info graphics, merchandise design, signage and much more to support our new start-up on its journey to success.
