Opportunity to contribute as the Volunteer DJ/Music coordinator for the gala awards ceremony of the Big Syn International Fim fest & Awards 2024- the World's biggest sustainability film fest & awards at one of London's iconic venue, Curzon Soho.
Awards night on 8th Nov between 2.00-7.00pm. Will be performing for 2 hours (welcome reception: 3-4pm and after party 6-7pm).

Job description
During the event you would
- Curate and play dynamic music playlists to enhance the overall atmosphere during the event for guests.
- You are required to bring your own DJ equipment and computer for playing the music. No need of speakers as you can plugin in to Curzon's AV system.
- Collaborate with event organisers and teams to align the music with the event's tempo and audience.
- Work in coordination with the venue AV team.

Volunteering with Victim Support in West Yorkshire
As a Volunteer in West Yorkshire you will:
- Be working on all crime types.
- Become trauma informed; Learn about the work of criminal justice agencies; Progress by specialising in specific crime types (e.g. Domestic Abuse, Sexual Violence, Hate Crime, Children and Young People, Homicide and Road Death, and Major Incident.); Community Engagement and networking opportunities.
- Be able to attend local volunteer team meetings; Annual Milestone Awards.
What do we ask of you?
In order to join us as a Service Delivery Volunteer, you must:
- Be 18 years of age or over.
- Be able to volunteer for at least 3 hours per week, for at least 12 months.
- Undertake training over a 10-week period – this includes five virtual training days as well as completing a workbook and online learning modules.
- Undertake a DBS check & be part of the DBS update service.
- Be able to provide two satisfactory references.
- Have an active email address that you are comfortable using in order to engage with VS communications.

- All Victim Support volunteers are entitled to out-of-pocket expenses incurred whilst volunteering, including travel and lunch.

Overview of the role
We are an exciting team that aim to design and develop fantastic programme for all members of our organisation. We have several ongoing pieces of work and upcoming projects that enable volunteers to get stuck right in and have real impact. You will have a part in designing programme, see it develop and then watch it reach local Scouting.
We will provide support when inducting you into the role, engage you in an exciting project and then help you on your next steps as a volunteer at the end of the project. This is a great opportunity for those who have never volunteered at Headquarters to give it a go. We would love to see plenty of new faces!
What would I be doing?
This role will be working as part of the Programme Design Team to facilitate work on one of our short-term projects. You will be joining one of our Project Cohorts. After applying, we will review applicants’ skills and experience, before selecting a group to work on a particular project with set goals.
Our upcoming projects will be aiming to develop our top-quality programme. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in innovative and impactful programme design. Each project is anticipated to last for 3 months. Once your project is complete, we will support you in your next steps as a volunteer.
