As a charity we can help thousands of cats each year thanks to the generous donations from our supporters. Raising funds is a key role in our charity, helping to raise the vital funds needed to help more cats and kittens in need.

As a fundraising volunteer, we will support you every step of the way to ensure your time at Cats Protection is a positive and rewarding one. Whatever time you can give really does make a big difference We have lots of exciting activities to choose from for example attending a fundraising event, fundraising online, promoting fundraising activities on social media, handling administrative tasks, or contributing to the development of new fundraising ideas. Whatever your skill set, this role could be perfect for you!

• face-to-face fundraising – organising or helping with fundraising events, attending supermarket collections and monitoring collection boxes.

Design & Develop: Create a visually appealing and fully functional website aligned with our brand identity.

Students4Students is a member led national organisation which has c.100 members split across 4 branches. As a CIO it has a duty to engage with members and provide members the opportunity to elect trustees and hold the leadership to account for decisions at an AGM. Students4Students wants to improve the level of participation in our internal democracy and ensure that AGMs are appealing and relevant to all members.

Responsibilities and duties

The post-holder will be responsible for engaging members in Students4Students internal democracy and ensuring the organisation meets its responsibilities as a CIO

• Organising the AGM
• Improving engagement in Students4Students internal democracy

• Promoting members interests within the organisation

• Ability to actively take initiative and help set things up in a start-up environment

Are you passionate about protecting the public from unsafe, unethical practise and misinformation? If so this may be the role for you.

We are currently recruiting two Independent (Lay) Members to our Fitness to Practise (FtP) Referral Panel, to support the upholding of the high standards of practise expected of UKVRN registrants (Registered Nutritionists and Registered Associate Nutritionists).

The Panel will assess cases regarding FtP concerns to determine whether these should or should not be escalated to an FtP Investigation Panel.

The FtP Referral Panel members shall review referred complaint/concern cases and complete a report with outcome recommendation. When a unanimous decision has not been reached on the outcome recommendation, an online meeting will be held.

Members will attend one annual (online) meeting to audit cases and outcome decisions in order to produce annual reports. The meeting will be held online for 2 – 3 hours and the Panel will normally require about half a day’s preparation/reading time. Additional time may be required to follow-up/ feedback.

The number of referrals a year vary, but a review will normally require 2-4hrs for reading and report submission. A consensus meeting, if required, will normally take place online for 1-2hrs.
