Key Responsibilities:

• Manage high value existing and new business partnerships in order to deliver on partnership objectives and maximise income, support and awareness for the charity
• Support new business development and develop regional small business in line with objectives.
• Implement national, regional, and local corporate partnership initiatives.

Person Specification

•  Understanding the corporate sector and raising funds and awareness from partnerships

• Experience of working in a demanding and profit driven corporate/business, fundraising, sales or marketing environment.
• Managing profitable client/donor relationships within large and complex organisations/companies

Assistant Welsh Language Translator, Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids’ Clubs

Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids’ Clubs wishes to appoint a part time (16 hours) Assistant Welsh Language Translator, to be based in one of our regional offices in either Cardiff, Crosshands or Colwyn Bay, with an agile working agreement is in place.

The salary of £24,496 pro rata (£26,421 pro rata upon confirmation in post) is based on a 16 hour week, payable monthly by credit transfer. The work demands flexible hours and may include evening, weekend and occasional nights away from home. There are 28 days holiday pro rata plus public holidays. The holiday year runs from 1 September to 31 August.

The Admin Team is led by the Senior Administrators.  The Assistant Welsh Language Translator’s main responsibilities are listed in the evaluation criteria. You will need an understanding of Windows and Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Access & be willing to learn about and use new software packages and online monitoring systems.

The main focus of the role is to support the translation all company literature, to include letters, forms, grant applications, website information, newsletter articles, leaflets, publications, social media content etc from English into Welsh, and from Welsh into English if applicable. The candidate must have a high level of accuracy, and pay close attention to detail. Proof reading will also feature in this role.

The successful candidate should have a flexible approach to work and be able to adapt to varying pressures, deadlines and workloads. What will you be doing?

Working with the Fundraising and Supporter Engagement Team you will be:

• Working with the Senior Individual Giving Manager to develop, manage, and plan to grow Legacy and In Memory donations.
• Ensuring notifications and gifts are dealt with efficiently, appropriately and in a timely fashion.
• Representing and protecting the charity’s interests in the administration of Legacies.
• Delivering effective supporter engagement and cultivation activities and events.
• Working with relevant teams to ensure Legacy asks are included as part of the supporter/customer journey for all types of supporters, donors, volunteers, and staff.
• Managing the implementation of marketing plans for Legacy gifts and In Memory giving.
  
  

What Skills and Experience do you need?

• Experience of developing and implementing a Legacy and In Memory strategy, marketing activity and supporter engagement.

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to provide high quality management and control of the finance function at our multi-site Christian outdoor adventure charity. Reporting to the Finance Director, the post holder will work closely with members of the senior management team to facilitate the smooth operation of Rock UK’s finances. The Associate Director of Local Fundraising is a senior role within the Income, Innovation and Engagement directorate; a highly ambitious and professional team which is working to grow income and strengthen the organisation’s voice across the UK as the leading end of life care charity in the UK. Marie Curie has ambitious financial growth targets and needs to drive net contribution, engagement and awareness if they are to achieve their fundraising ambitions and subsequently their service growth goals.

The primary focus of the role is to maximise the net contribution from local fundraising but also to  drive community awareness and engagement with Marie Curie.  This is a key role for Marie Curie, responsible for managing a team of over 100 people and having responsibility for over £20 million Income, the recruitment of legacy prospects, the delivery of fundraising events and the strategic approach of supporter facing volunteers.

The Fundraising teams based in communities across the UK are responsible for raising money, driving legacy sign ups, building event participation and profit and growing awareness and engagement of the need for and impact of the charity’s work amongst supporters and people who have the potential to support Marie Curie.  With all local relationships managed by this role’s teams, the post will ensure that supporters have a connected, seamless experience.

The ideal candidate will have senior leadership experience in a fundraising environment with a successful track record in increasing voluntary income or revenue. They will also have experience in developing both annual operational and three-year strategic plans, developing creative and innovative solutions and digital marketing and in working with working with volunteers and engaging local communities.
