- Prepare a tailored plan for all assignments based on a good understanding of the terms of reference and the applicable contractual conditions
- Lead opening meetings with clients and auditees and present the audit findings clearly and credibly at closing meetings
- Lead assignment fieldwork teams, including locally based staff, on overseas assignments, or work alone
- Demonstrate the ability to identify issues and areas of non-compliance on an assignment and write them up as findings in a detailed, precise and clear way in the assignment report
- Be able to work to tight deadlines and manage time effectively
- Be prepared to be out of the office on international assignments for up to 40% of the time*
Key skills required..
- A genuine interest in International Development and making a difference.
- A love of international travel, preferably with experience of working or volunteering internationally
- A second language, especially French, Spanish, German, Portuguese and Arabic

The postholder is responsible for the strategic leadership, development and management of all fundraising and commercial activity for Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT). The key areas of focus will be:
- Developing and implementing a fundraising strategy, to support CACT strategic objectives
- Leading a skilled multi-disciplinary team, including bid-writing, marketing and communications, to achieve agreed goals and added value

Alzheimer’s Society Local Services teams provide exceptional information, advice and guidance for people affected by dementia. As a Local Services Manager, you will be home based, leading and inspiring geographically dispersed teams, whilst working as part of a wider Area Management Team, to deliver these fantastic services.
Your work will primarily be as an operational leader, managing our dementia support & groups services across Hertfordshire. You will also have a great opportunity to build relationships and engage external stakeholders, including working closely with Local Authorities and Health colleagues and Commissioners within an Integrated Care System setting.

The Role
The CEO will be accountable to the Board of Trustees for the overall strategic management, leadership, and development of BCD and achievement of the overall strategic objectives. Duties will include:
- Implementing and delivering the strategic plan and reporting on implementation, risk, and changes to the plan.
- Representing BCD as an active member of the Leeds Domestic Violence Service (LDVS) strategic group and support the LDVS operational management team.
- Overseeing complex projects and their successful delivery to time and target.
- Taking overall responsibility for the recruitment, management, supervision, training and development of all staff and volunteers.
- Leading on the overall fundraising strategy, identifying growth targets and quarterly income projections and leading on the appropriate use of reserves.

Greater Manchester Youth Federation (“GMYF”) is looking for 2 part time Youth Workers who will work with young people at their Partington and Charlestown Youth Centres.
About GMYF
GMYF is a long-established charity that works with young people across Greater Manchester, to support their aspirations and create opportunities. Our mission is to deliver a year-round programme of recreational and educational opportunities to young people, volunteers and leaders within our stand-alone centres and to provide support to affiliated clubs.
GMYF opened our first Youth Centre in Partington in September 2022 and have recently opened a new Youth Centre in Charlestown. The Role
The role of a GMYF Youth Workers to be young person centred, providing a nurturing, safe and supporting environment for the young people, building and maintaining positive relationships with them. You will be based at either Partington or Charlestown Youth Centres working with 9-16 year olds. You will support the Youth Activities Lead in planning and delivering a full programme of activities including centre-based, as well as supporting our outdoor adventure team with outdoor activities and residentials.

Identify the formal and informal educational, social, cultural and recreational needs of the young people and plan a programme of positive interventions and innovations which enhances the knowledge, awareness and personal development of the young people. Articulate and record young people’s progression in sessional and project recording documentation and provide information for management and funding reporting.

Residentials: Attend weekend residentials and events at the GMYF’s outdoor pursuits centre and encourage the young people to get involved. Support and assist with the planning and delivery of off-site trips/activities and residentials at various locations.

Safeguarding: comply with all policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, codes of conduct, health and safety, and equality and diversity. Be alert to issues of safeguarding and child protection, ensuring the welfare and safety of youth club members is promoted and prioritized. Report any concerns and participate in Safeguarding training.

Represent Greater Manchester Youth Federation: Ensure conduct is professional and represents GMYF in a positive manner to internal and external visitors, working with a wide range of local partners and community organisations.

The Role:

What you\'ll be doing:
In this role, you will ensure that the public areas of the Headmaster’s and Chief Operating Officer’s houses are well kept at all times. This will involve vacuuming, dusting, polishing, and
general cleaning as well as laundry and ironing as required. You will assist the catering team with any functions in the house including serving and clearing of meals and liaise with other departments such as Estates and Domestic Operations as and when required.
This role is for 20 hours per week, 5 days a week for term time plus 7 weeks during the school holidays.

About the role
The Philanthropy Events Manager role is a new specialised role within the Development Office and will be responsible for planning and implementing strategic fundraising events in support of the University of London’s major fundraising campaign and other fundraising priorities. You will play a critical role in the successful delivery of the fundraising campaign through strategic focus on driving impactful events programme and donor engagement strategies.
Who are we looking for?
You will come with a proven track record of event management in HE or charity sector and of liaising and managing relationships with key stakeholders (alumni, volunteers, donors etc). We seek someone who has experience of working with colleagues across a complex organisation and with different levels of seniority, as well as well-developed strategic thinking skills with a methodical and structured approach. Our client’s SMC service offers accomodation-based support to separated migrant children aged 16-18 years, who arrive in the UK alone. As Service Manager for the SMC service, you will empower a dedicated team of frontline workers to support vulnerable young people in leading independent and fulfilling lives. You will provide flexible and responsive accommodation-based support to the young people across 2 services in Hemel Hempstead, adapting to service user’s individual needs and circumstances.
You will work with your team to enable service users to access a variety of meaningful activities, including education, employment, training opportunities and volunteering, and will also support the young people to develop independent living skills, including as cooking, cleaning, budgeting and building their confidence so they can move on positively. In addition, you will liaise with various external agencies jointly to ensure that each young person has a smooth, personalised journey to independence.

We are working in partnership with Weston Hospicecare, a highly regarded local charity founded by the local community over 30 years ago. They are the major provider of specialist palliative care in Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset, and Sedgemoor, providing free of charge physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual care to local people.
A new Director of Fundraising is sought to provide inspiring leadership to the fundraising function of Weston Hospicecare, implementing a fundraising strategy that will build voluntary income from its current level of £2 million per annum to provide long-term and sustainable income sources for the Hospice. Building a high performing fundraising team, with excellent working relationships throughout the organisation, through effective and decisive leadership, coaching and developing existing staff and recruiting new talent to take the activity forwards will be essential. This is a strategic leadership role, but operational fundraising elements will include taking personal responsibility for major donors and negotiating high value and/or high-profile fundraising partnerships.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Proven fundraising experience and a sound working knowledge of all main fundraising methods.
- Excellent track record in leading a team to deliver financial targets.

The life changing services the Hospice provides are available free of charge to the people who need them most. Despite costing over £3m a year to run, the hospice is largely dependent on fundraised income, with over half of that coming primarily from fundraising activities across Teesside and local residents via retail sales in their shops.
We are now looking for an experienced and ambitious Head of Fundraising to lead the dedicated Fundraising Team at the hospice to ensure financial sustainability of the organisation’s services.
The Role
As the Head of Fundraising, you will be responsible for leading and developing the fundraising department. Duties will include:
- Working alongside the Director of Income Generation to create, develop & deliver a fundraising strategy to support the Hospice’s new objectives
- Lead, mentor, and develop the fundraising team, setting clear objectives and providing ongoing support and training.
