Salary £34,997 per annum

About the charity:
They have been helping vulnerable young people experiencing homelessness since their inception in 1994. Covering York and North Yorkshire, they offer short-term, immediate help at the time of crisis through their Nightstop programme, and longer-term intervention through their Supported Lodgings scheme, where young people are provided accommodation in the homes of volunteer hosts. They also have Enhancement, which helps young people break the cycle of homelessness by offering a whole range of experiences and opportunities which support emotional wellbeing, education/employment and training and life skills all of which help young people live independently.
About the role:
This is a key position in a small, collaborative team. You'll help maximise income from corporate partnerships through nurturing existing supporters, building and managing a portfolio of corporate donors, and identifying new funding opportunities. All the while, you'll provide excellent stewardship to secure ongoing support for the charity.
We would love to hear from candidates who have experience of managing and cultivating partnerships and meeting income targets and a track record in securing income from corporate partners.

We are seeking a Senior Relationship Fundraiser to join the Income Generation Team to help us ensure that when a child’s life will be short, Tŷ Hafan will walk alongside their family every step of the way – through life, death and beyond.
About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the highly ambitious and successful Income Generation team at Tŷ Hafan. It is a fast paced and dynamic role where no two days are the same. You’ll be working across the whole fundraising portfolio including promoting participation and sponsorship of our events, retail collaborations, cause related marketing, ‘Charity of the Year’ partnerships and much more. About the Role
The Refugee and Migrant Centre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our Resettlement Department. As part of our mission to assist refugees and migrants in overcoming barriers to integration, this role will play a key part in helping newly arrived refugees settle into their new communities with confidence and independence.
RMC is a well-established charity with over 25 years of experience working with vulnerable refugees and migrants. We provide a range of services, including immigration advice, housing support, welfare assistance, and employment guidance. Our work ensures that refugees and migrants receive the necessary support to become equal citizens in the UK.
Purpose of the Role
The Family Support Worker will support newly arrived refugees and their families, enabling them to navigate the complex challenges of settling into the UK. Working closely with our multi-skilled resettlement team, you will deliver holistic support to refugees across a range of services, including welfare benefits, housing, health, education, and employment. You will also play a key role in empowering families to build their confidence, independence, and long-term integration into the community.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Client Support & Case Management:
- Manage a caseload of newly arrived refugee families, providing tailored support to meet their specific needs.
- Conduct home visits and orientation sessions to welcome clients to their new community and complete holistic needs assessments.
- Develop Personal Integration Plans for each household on a quarterly basis, helping them set goals for long-term independence.
- Coordinate support with external agencies and specialists to address clients’ needs, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Support families with housing, welfare benefits, education, healthcare, and employment.
- Assist with registration for healthcare services (GPs, dentists, opticians) and support with medical assessments.
- Facilitate access to education for children and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes for adults.
- Provide guidance on immigration matters and ensure the correct paperwork is in place, including registering for Biometric Residence Cards and supporting welfare benefit applications.
- Ensure clients are financially supported by applying for relevant welfare benefits and assisting with mandatory reconsiderations as required.
Integration & Independence:
- Help clients develop the skills and knowledge to achieve independence, focusing on self-sufficiency and integration into the local community.
- Support families in securing suitable accommodation, liaising with landlords, housing providers, and relevant stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing orientation on UK systems, including financial rights and responsibilities, social services, and community resources.
- Encourage social integration by organising outings and community events to foster connections with local services and other refugees.
Partnership Working & Community Engagement:
- Work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure that refugees have access to the services and support they need.
- Act as the lead contact for other agencies involved in supporting your clients, ensuring a collaborative approach to case management.
- Promote the long-term integration of refugees by identifying and facilitating opportunities for engagement with mainstream services.
Administrative & Reporting Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and case progress, ensuring compliance with organisational policies.
- Provide written reports and case updates as required by the Resettlement Coordinator and Manager.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of services based on monitoring and evaluation feedback.
General Responsibilities:

Additional Information:

The Gateway service is used as a partnership arrangement with a local authority for temporary accommodation. The Housing Coordinator will be the lead point of contact for Look Ahead at this site and manage this relationship on a day-to-day basis.
The Housing Coordinator will also be expected to monitor occupants' adherence to house rules and work with our Local Authority partners to follow up any enforcement action, occupant support needs or requirements that are presented.
A key part of the role is managing the safety and operation of the building, as well as dealing with enquiries and contact from customers and visitors. The Housing Coordinator will be required to monitor the maintenance function and facilities on the site and raise any contractor performance issues to the head office based Property and Landlord Services team.

About the role:
This role is hybrid working between Bridewell Police Station and home (and therefore requires an appropriately confidential home space in which to work), with travel around the locality to meet with service users. As a Senior IDVA you will:
- Identify and assess the risks and needs of male domestic abuse victims. Assist them in accessing services to keep them and their family safe, and develop individual safety plans to meet client's needs.
- Focus on and prioritise high risk cases and provide a pro-active, short to medium term crisis intervention service, through individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
- Understand the legal framework relating to the protection of children and vulnerable adults.
- Ensure each victim receives an individually appropriate tailored support and information service that fully meets their needs, keeping complex needs central to all processes and decisions.
- Support the empowerment of the client and assist them in recognising the features and dynamics of domestic abuse.
- Participate fully in the MARAC framework: refer clients to, attend and participate in meetings by being the voice of the client and follow up actions agreed, keeping the client's safety at the forefront.
- Take a lead in setting an example of good working practices and offer mentoring to colleagues. Be the initial contact for colleagues to provide advice and guidance on their casework.
- Provide information and advocacy to enable service users to navigate and understand the criminal justice process and ensure their rights are upheld in accordance with the Victims Code of Practice.
- Provide effective line management of staff to ensure performance targets and agreed outcomes are met by the service. Monitor and oversee quality of service provision provided by the team, and identify learning and development opportunities. Support performance auditing, interpret data for commissioners and report on this.
- Maintain accurate and confidential case management records and contribute to monitoring information for the service.
You will need:
- A proven track record of being an effective IDVA.
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team, sharing, coaching and influencing others.
- An understanding of the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children.
- Experience of working within a multi-agency and legislative framework.
- Experience of managing a complex caseload, and be able to prioritise work and deal with competing demands demonstrating an organised an methodical approach to work.

About the role

Your Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

Develop and advise on policies and strategies to integrate Good Food principles into council operations, contributing to Sustainable Food Places silver award submission.

Re-establish and lead Liverpool’s Good Food Policy working group.

Lead a city action plan to improve food provision for children and young people in education and learning settings across Liverpool.

Conduct and synthesise research, data, lived experience, and policy insights to produce evidence-based recommendations/ actions.

Document and showcase progress towards the goals of the Good Food Plan.

Collaborate with national and local stakeholders, including public, private, and VCSE sectors, to develop and implement strategic food-related projects.

Provide leadership on food policy within the council, aligning initiatives with broader city objectives such as sustainability, public health, and economic growth.

Identify and pursue funding opportunities to ensure the sustainability of food systems initiatives.

Represent Feeding Liverpool and Liverpool City Council at local and national events.
Key tasks:

Prepare reports, briefings, and recommendations for senior leadership and elected members.

Coordinate Liverpool’s Sustainable Food Places application.

Engage with schools, faith groups, and community organisations to promote food-growing initiatives.

The role
They are seeking a Community Fundraising Assistant who will be the first point of contact for their community fundraisers, who are looking to raise vital funds for them, and provide administrative support for the team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone enthusiastic about delivering excellent customer service to become a strong ambassador for their emotive and highly regarded cause.
They are looking for an organised, hard-working individual to join their fun, supportive Community and Events Fundraising team. As part of the role, you will be assisting with the day-to-day activities of the team, attending & supporting events hosted by our client & their fantastic supporters and assisting in stewarding their fundraisers during their fundraising activities. You will also ensure that supporters receive a timely, positive thank you once they have completed their fundraising.
With their fundraising activities ranging from national challenges, such as the London Marathon, to local events, like their motorcycle ride out ‘Ride Out for Rescue’, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to be out and about discovering what makes their wonderful supporters so passionate about our client. Indeed, as a local charity, they are very fortunate to be able to meet supporters from right across the community, which truly is a highlight of the job.
