The Woodland Trust is looking for an Events & Engagement Officer based at our Hainault Forest Visitor Centre to lead on the events and engagement aspects of our visitor offer.
The Role:
• Based at our Hainault Forest Visitor Centre, the role will lead on the events and engagement aspects of our visitor offer at Hainault Forest, providing a high-quality experience across the forest, and a targeted and innovative programme of events activity across the year.
• The role will engage visitors with the forest in a way that inspires them to take action and connect with our cause. It combines events planning & delivery, visitor & community engagement and communications activity.
• It includes providing an important meet & greet function to visitors as well as signposting, dealing with enquiries, promoting membership and undertaking retail transactions.
• The role will develop and deliver an inspiring and inclusive annual events and engagement plan for Hainault Forest; working alongside partner colleagues at Vision RCL. This plan will identify key activity and audiences to most effectively achieve against our objectives.
• This role is part time, 28 hours per week worked across 4 days on a rota basis, including 2 weekends of every 4.
• You will be expected to travel to and from Hainault Forest Visitor Centre, as your place of work.
• This role may be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check as part of our pre-employment checks or future checks.

Our kitchen chef will prepare and cook meals for residents according to agreed menus. Oversees the service kitchen by managing any other members of the food preparation team, deciding what dishes to serve and adjusting orders to meet client's requests. Will assist in prep work and cleaning kitchen, but more often will be involved in cooking and serving dishes. There will be an expectation that the chef designs a menu based on client requirements in line with a set weekly budget. The chef will be expected to create calm, welcoming environment for a client group with complex needs.
The shift pattern for this role includes Monday-Friday 3.30pm-7.30pm. 17.5 hours per week.

Overall Duties of the Digital Engagement Officer will include:
- Promote TACT Connect to key audiences, such as TACT Connect members and potential members

About the role:
This role is based in Wakefield with travel across West Yorkshire.
As a Independent Sexual Violence Advisor you will be:
- As an Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA), you will provide ongoing continuity, advocacy and impartial advice and information to all survivors accessing our service. Whilst you will be supporting all clients who have suffered sexual violence, this role also requires the ISVA to focus on supporting clients with a wide range of disabilities, both physical and hidden.
- Being an experienced ISVA, you will conduct risk assessments and assess the specific needs of people who have suffered sexual violence. Your expertise in this area will enable you to develop individual service plans that address these risks and needs. You will have a proven track record of working with high and complex cases and have demonstrated resilience in your professional life, enabling you to work effectively under pressure. You will have extensive experience working with vulnerable clients and possess the skills to maintain professional boundaries working alongside them.
- You will also be adept at working in a trauma-informed manner, acknowledging that trauma can impact victims in different ways, and offering support with this as a priority. As an advocate for sexual violence survivors/victims, you will work to promote their confidence, resilience, and empowerment both within and outside of the criminal justice system.
- You will provide non-therapeutic support to victims/survivors. This will be delivered face-to-face or via telephone, text and/or email based on the preferences of the client. To build links with services across West Yorkshire to ensure wrap-around support is available.
- You will be required to attend relevant meetings and will provide regular reports to your line manager and also undertake talks and presentations to local groups and agencies on the work of Victim Support, developing networks and partnerships and increasing the role of the service in the community. You will be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with people from all areas of the community and be able to assist with the monitoring, evaluation and administration of written statistical reports on the project management for our external funders.
- You will offer guidance and support to clients in navigating the criminal justice process while ensuring their rights are protected in accordance with the Victims Code of Practice. You will provide victims with access to resources and support to help them through the criminal justice process.
This role demands a high amount of resilience and the management of a high caseload.

About the Role
The Refugee and Migrant Centre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our Resettlement Department. As part of our mission to assist refugees and migrants in overcoming barriers to integration, this role will play a key part in helping newly arrived refugees settle into their new communities with confidence and independence.
RMC is a well-established charity with over 25 years of experience working with vulnerable refugees and migrants. We provide a range of services, including immigration advice, housing support, welfare assistance, and employment guidance. Our work ensures that refugees and migrants receive the necessary support to become equal citizens in the UK.
Purpose of the Role
The Family Support Worker will support newly arrived refugees and their families, enabling them to navigate the complex challenges of settling into the UK. Working closely with our multi-skilled resettlement team, you will deliver holistic support to refugees across a range of services, including welfare benefits, housing, health, education, and employment. You will also play a key role in empowering families to build their confidence, independence, and long-term integration into the community.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Client Support & Case Management:
- Manage a caseload of newly arrived refugee families, providing tailored support to meet their specific needs.
- Conduct home visits and orientation sessions to welcome clients to their new community and complete holistic needs assessments.
- Develop Personal Integration Plans for each household on a quarterly basis, helping them set goals for long-term independence.
- Coordinate support with external agencies and specialists to address clients’ needs, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Support families with housing, welfare benefits, education, healthcare, and employment.
- Assist with registration for healthcare services (GPs, dentists, opticians) and support with medical assessments.
- Facilitate access to education for children and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes for adults.
- Provide guidance on immigration matters and ensure the correct paperwork is in place, including registering for Biometric Residence Cards and supporting welfare benefit applications.

About the role:
The position is offered on a hybrid basis working from Lewes Crown Court, home & our VS office.
As a Young Witness Service Caseworker you will be:
- Supporting child and young person witnesses and victims of crime by providing information along with practical & emotional help
- Supporting child and young person witnesses to navigate the court system, providing advocacy and support directly to witnesses and anyone else affected by the crime
- Completing needs and risk assessments with victims
- Case management and updating databases in line with GDPR & safeguarding regulations
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships and collaborative working with local partnerships, other agencies and participating in community events.
You will need:
- To be able to work without direct supervision, prioritising work to meet competing demands
- Good communication skills, able to show empathy & deal with difficult situations
- To demonstrate good IT skills, able to use Microsoft Office & internal systems
