The Resilient Water Accelerator (RWA), hosted by WaterAid, is a global initiative that aims to:

This role will play an essential part in delivering our international programme of work.
As the Admin Officer, you will be a critical part of the Global Secretariat- helping to link the different parts of the RWA together and co-ordinate with our partners around the world.
About the Role:
You will work with the Senior Management Team to ensure the team can deliver our work to the high standards we set for ourselves. As the RWA delivers its ambitious programme of work the post holder will ensure we are delivering high quality events, prompt and regular engagement with key stakeholders, and rapid and consistent processing of contracts, payments and reporting for donors and suppliers. This will require the ability to build an understand of the processes and objectives of WaterAid and the Resilient Water Accelerator so that we respond appropriately to work and opportunities as they arise, and are conducted in line with agreed policies and procedures.

- Providing support and solutions as the RWA puts in place new structures and systems ahead of independence, working with SMT to explore the practical and regulatory steps towards building our own independent systems.

Women and Girls Network (WGN) was established in 1987 and has spent over 30 years supporting women and girls across London affected by gendered violence. About the role
We are excited to be advertising this newly created role as part of WGN’s growth. This role will be the lead on the finance function. Reporting into the Director of Finance and Resources, the role works closely with stakeholders across the organisation including executive leadership, with a specific focus on working closely with the Director and external auditors. The role will have two direct reports – Finance Business Partner and Finance Officer. This is a hands-on role and will have full responsibility for the finance function on a day to day and medium-term basis. The Financial Controller is to lead on all financial systems set up and upgrades.

Role Responsibilities:

Key Fundraising Responsibilities
- Develop communications content that will invigorate our existing donors and inspire new ones leading to increased giving by individuals to IPWSO.

What will your typical day involve?
You will collaborate with Jewish communities and synagogues, orchestrating and overseeing community events, and managing related clerical tasks. You will also be responsible for liaising with external agencies and assisting in the production of departmental reports.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include contributing to educational and research projects, delivering exceptional customer service, and enhancing departmental systems and processes. Upholding Nightingale Hammerson’s values, maintaining professionalism, and ensuring confidentiality are crucial aspects of your role.

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking someone with A-Levels or equivalent qualifications and a genuine interest in improving older people’s lives. You should have excellent, caring communication skills and a good understanding of Jewish culture. Strong literacy and numeracy skills are required for creating written materials and handling data. Proficiency in office procedures and IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and video calls) is essential. Experience with database management is a plus, and you should be able to work flexibly and independently.
Experience in healthcare or education settings is also desired. Prior experience in a similar role, along with project management skills, is advantageous, especially in supporting service developments from initial stages to full implementation.

The Head of Programmes is a critical role for the organisation, responsible for ensuring DEC funded programmes meet programmatic standards, are fully traceable, routinely monitored and comply with organisational procedures and institutional donors’ requirements. In addition, the Head of Programmes is also appointed as the Serious Incident Reporting (SIR) Officer, serving as the first point of contact for member agencies to report incidents regarding safeguarding, financial misconduct and reputational risk.

Key responsibilities:
Communication and Collaboration
- Key point of contact with member colleagues regarding programmes finance, adaptive programming and DEC compliance, facilitating timely and accurate communication.

- Deliver and contribute to timely and high-quality infographics, reports and briefings for key stakeholders and institutional donors including Board of Trustees, FCDO and BBC.
- Manage & maintain investment in public transparency and demonstrate DEC’s contribution to the humanitarian sector, including reporting to IATI and UN OCHA Financial Tracking Service (FTS).
- Continuously develop, improve and manage DEC’s Knowledge Information Management systems (KIM), as user-friendly collaborating platforms that enhance learning and enable data analysis, visualisation and high-quality reporting.

As the Breck Foundation's new Project Coordinator (Pan Sussex), with the support of the CEO, you will lead the initial project set up, the recruitment of schools and young people, followed by all training and coordination of the delivery.
The post holder will need to reside in Sussex and be required to work from home permanently but willing and able to travel regularly to various locations across East and West Sussex. Occasional travel farther afield as necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role, to deliver aspects of the programme and to engage with other stakeholders and colleagues.
Breck Foundation
Breck Foundation is a unique and dynamic organisation that makes a real difference. The charity was founded in 2014 in memory of Breck Bednar, a 14-year-old boy who was groomed and murdered by someone he met online. We inform, educate and campaign to help young people and the wider UK public reclaim the internet from those who seek to harm others through it. Our educational programmes reach thousands of students, parents and safeguarding professionals each year.
The Project
Over the last few years, the Breck Foundation worked closely with Volunteer Police Cadet Units in Surrey and Tower Hamlets to train cadets as ‘Breck Ambassadors’, equipping them with the training needed to talk in schools to their peers about staying safe online and the key signs of grooming.
We are proud to take this successful project further having secured funding with the Office of Sussex Police & Crime Commissioner (OSPCC) to recruit and train up to 30 ‘Youth Ambassadors’ (for online safety) in schools across Sussex. The Youth Ambassadors will learn how to tell Breck’s story and empower young people with the tools they need to stay safe online. Working closely with schools to enable the students to become Online Safety Ambassadors for their school community, advocate for their peers and to be a voice of expertise and counsel. You will work with schools and community groups to generate impact through Breck’s story (on online grooming) and other important topics related to children’s online safety.
This flagship project for the OSPCC will launch in April 2025 (Coordinator starts in January 2025) and run for at least 12 months, with potential funding up to three years. We hope it will set a precedent for others to follow our lead and develop similar programmes for young people across the UK.
