Trustee

Become a Trustee and make a difference to the lives of Carers across the borough.

We are looking for 2 people to join our board of Trustees and help us achieve our vision of a society where Carers are recognised and valued for their contribution and have choice and control that enables them to care, to stay healthy and to lead fulfilled lives.

Whether you’re an experienced trustee or want to join a board for the first time and have skills to contribute we would love to hear from you. You may have lived experience to bring, have benefitted from the services of Wandsworth Carers Centre, or come with fresh ideas and different perspectives.

Becoming a trustee is a great opportunity to give something back to your local community. You will put your experience to good use whilst learning new skills and gaining insight into how a charity is run. There will be meetings to attend, opportunities to complete tasks with other volunteers and staff at the charity, as well as opportunities to meet new and interesting people at events or activities within the Wandsworth community.

We are particularly looking for people with knowledge or experience of charity finance, fundraising, human resources or Young Carers.
