We are seeking an experienced fundraising coordinator who can deliver timely and efficient support to the fundraising, engagement and volunteering teams. What will you be doing?

As a Fundraising Coordinator, you'll be the charity’s expert in supporter care, managing donor enquiries and processing of financial gifts (whether online, over the phone or by post). You’ll oversee a varied and interesting workload from supporting the department with general administration duties and carrying out legacy administration, to supporting with fundraising events/activities and writing engaging thank you letters.

We are recruiting a Peer Support Coordinator to lead the development and delivery of Peer Support sessions and work with Peer Support Volunteers to develop new opportunities. Groups will be held at our Greenwich centre and at venues across the borough of Greenwich. We particularly want to increase engagement of under-served communities in Greenwich.

You will have experience of group development, collaborative working across service teams and an excellent understanding of service user engagement. You will be highly organised and ensure all client data is accurately entered into our Views database. All records of groups and activities will also be entered promptly onto the database. Peer Support Coordinator

This role is an opportunity to work for Mind BLMK as part of the peer support service, you will have the opportunity to use your own personal experience of mental health challenges to coordinate the running of a Peer Support Service in Milton Keynes, provide information and guidance, and implement referral pathways to the wider Recovery Service.

Our peer support and recovery services are a key element of the services we offer, and we are looking for someone who can use their own lived experiences to provide support to help individuals achieve their goals. Key Activities

• Operate a Peer Support service including peer support groups and mentoring across Milton Keynes and ensure outcomes which supports individuals with mental health and wellbeing needs in line with Mind BLMK’s agreed Peer Support model and requirements as well as contract requirements.
• Carry out assessments on individuals’ suitability for Mind BLMK’s Peer Support service in line with the Access to Service procedure
• Work with the Peer Support Manager to ensure regular involvement of service users, volunteers and staff on local service delivery, organisational matters and wider mental health strategies
• Maintain an effective workforce for the service in line with Mind BLMK’s HR policies, procedures and guidance (recruitment, line management, workload planning, support and development of Peer Support Workers and volunteers).
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Mind BLMK team and relevant key post holders.
• Provide the infrastructure Peer Support Workers need to deliver the support safely and confidently.
• Hold responsibility for all Cash Handling, Health and Safety and Data Collection responsibilities as directed by the Team Leader in line with Mind BLMK’s policies, procedures, requirements and guidance.

About the role 

Our passionate Regional Casework Coordinators are SSAFA’s front line of support for members of the armed forces community in need. They are the first point of contact for all beneficiaries into the Regional Office, assessing needs and allocating the case to one of our volunteer caseworkers. 

You will sometimes handle complex problems from individuals who may be distressed, identifying the presenting and potential underlying needs to determine the best way to support the beneficiary. You will have ownership of cases from beginning to end, coordinating the casework process in a timely manner and ensure that the beneficiary journey is at the centre of the Service. You will have the opportunity to shape processes and procedures within the office which will lead to improvements in the service offered to clients.

To help you establish yourself in this new post you will receive excellent training and induction to SSAFA. 

Whilst the post is homebased, to be eligible for this role you are required to live in the South East region, which includes: Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Guernsey, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Jersey, Kent, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Sussex.

There will be occasional travel around the South East Region and you may be required to travel at short notice for face to face meetings.

About the team 

The team work remotely and pride themselves in maintaining a close working bond which ensures the smooth operation of the office. You will work closely with volunteers from the ten SSAFA branches in the South East, supporting them to administer casework for SSAFA beneficiaries. The wider support team includes a Casework Manager and a Regional Operations Support Manager. 

About you 

To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of providing welfare advice in key areas such as, housing benefits, debt, disability, mobility or immigration issues. You will have knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR and experience in dealing with sensitive information and people in vulnerable situations. You will be able to provide excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail and face to face. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. It is important that you have experience of planning and managing your own workload, with minimal supervision.

It would be advantageous if you have an understanding of the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families and if you have experience of recruiting and supporting volunteers. An understanding of the voluntary sector and preferably the military charity sector landscape across the South East Region would be valuable.

WellChild, based in the centre of Cheltenham, is the national charity for seriously ill children and their families. We fund
programmes and services to make it possible for children and young people living with serious illness to be cared for at
home instead of hospital.

What we are looking for:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and well organised Family Engagement Coordinator to work within our Family Team. This
role will be working directly with charity beneficiaries - parents and carers of children with serious and complex health
needs. This is a diverse and interesting role that is central to the development and expansion of our WellChild Family
Tree service.

Purpose of the role:
The Family Engagement Coordinator is vital to the success of the WellChild Family Tree Network. This is a growing network
that exists to connect families across the UK caring for a child with serious and complex medical needs with each other
and with WellChild. Through its online Facebook forum, and programme of activities, events and communications, it
provides members with the opportunity to make friends, make memories and get support.

Working within the Family Team and as part of the wider Programmes team this role will report to the Family Programme
Manager and is central to the development and expansion of the WellChild Family Tree. Key to this role is taking ownership
of and delivering a well-defined WellChild Family Tree membership experience that attracts and engages families from
across the UK and includes the provision of high-quality content and regular communications.

The Role:

As a Engagement and Event Coordinator, you will help expand the database of volunteers and save more lives. This role is central to the client's mission and we're looking for someone who is excited to engage with diverse communities, support patients and their families, and manage impactful volunteer recruitment events across the UK.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop and manage volunteer recruitment events nationwide.
• Engage with patients and their families to create compelling appeals that raise awareness and increase volunteer registrations.
• Lead presentations and training sessions for volunteers, communities, and corporate groups to inspire participation in drives.
• Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to optimise event visibility and support patient-led campaigns.
• Work towards volunteer recruitment KPIs and targets while maintaining detailed records in our database.

Essential requirements:

• Experience in a client-facing or support role, with strong communication and organisational skills.
• Sensitivity and empathy when working with individuals facing difficult circumstances.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the UK.
• Excellent IT skills, with experience using databases and managing digital communications.

Note: Due to the nature of this role, some evening and weekend work might be required. Toil will be given.

About the role:

We are looking to appoint a Volunteer Coordinator. This is a newly created role. The Volunteer Coordinator will support the Volunteer Manager in the development and delivery of Rainbow Trust’s volunteer programme.

The post holder will be the first point of contact for volunteering enquiries and will be involved in all aspects of the volunteer programme including recruitment. Induction, management, engagement and retention.

This is an excellent opportunity to maintain a breadth of volunteer coordinator experience with increased responsibility.

About the Role

Your objective for the first 12 months in post will be to have:

• Supported the Youth Zone to achieve 1,000 visits by young people a week by ensuring volunteers play a key role in service delivery.
• Collaborated with the delivery and operational team to ensure volunteer opportunities are identified.
• Put in place a robust volunteer recruitment pathway.
• Created a ‘culture of volunteering’ and ensured the critical role of volunteer is understood and valued across the whole organisation.
• Supported each member of the operation and delivery team to line manager between 2-4 volunteers each, providing between 6 and 30 hours of volunteering a week.
• Put in place a reward and recognition scheme that celebrates volunteers’ successes.

The charity is in the process of securing temporary office space in the Preston area, ahead of construction on the new Youth Zone being completed (expected summer 2025). In the first two months of this role, you will also spend time on placement at another North-West based Youth Zone.

About You

With the ability to motivate, inspire and communicate the value of volunteers to all levels of an organisation, you will have experience of:

• Volunteer management best practice, including developing and supporting a wide range of volunteering opportunities
• Developing and delivering a variety of training to small and large groups
• Managing successful relationships with colleagues, volunteers, and external partners and confident in providing advice and guidance to others around policy, procedure and good practice

World Obesity Federation is seeking a Campaigns and Membership Coordinator to join their team. 

World Obesity Federation (WOF) is a worldwide federation with over 100 members and takes a holistic view of obesity from cause and prevention to treatment. WOF is a lead partner to global agencies on obesity, including WHO, and a member of the Global Obesity Coalition.

This position will lead on member communications and management, as well as the campaign management for World Obesity Day. Main responsibilities will include managing the day to day membership provision for the organisation, acting as Project Manager for World Obesity Day, leading on campaign resource development, liaising with members and chairing the Global Advisory Group.

The Campiagns and Membership Coordinator will join the Communications Team.

Desired skills and experience - experience of running campaigns (ideally health and/or charity related), experience of working within a membership organisation, understanding of working at a global level, additional languages.

Required - Excellent spoken communications and interpersonal skills, right to work in the UK and able to travel internationally.
