Women and Girls Network (WGN) is a pan-London organisation that supports women and girls affected by all forms of gendered-based violence. Our overall aim is to promote, preserve and restore the mental health and well-being of women and girls who have experienced, or are at risk of, gendered-based violence, whilst working towards a society free of gendered-based violence.
We do this by:
- Providing women-only holistic and seamless therapeutic services, which meet women and girls’ needs and contribute to total and sustainable recovery from the experiences of violence.
- Evidencing the impact of gendered-based violence and presenting this information in appropriate forums to affect social change in attitudes towards, and responses to, gendered-based violence.
- Developing good practice in the sector by providing training and guidance on specialist service provision and the development of culturally appropriate service delivery.
About the opportunities
WGN is now looking for additional committed women professionals to join our existing dynamic and dedicated Trustees, we are seeking number of trustees including treasurer. We are in particular encouraging Black African or Caribbean candidates to apply to align with the agenda of WGN.

Additional information
Trustees are required to attend six meetings a year. In addition, trustees are required to attend induction training and Away Days are usually held once a year. There may also be sub-committees that Trustees wish to join, and one Trustee member is invited to be on interview panels for any senior management recruitment. Trustees are also required to read documents and emails between meetings.

We are seeking a suitably experienced and passionate individual to join our Board of Trustees. The role is voluntary and unpaid. Reasonable expenses will be paid by agreement.
Primarily the purpose is to ensure that Controlling Chemsex delivers for the public good within regulatory obligations. The specific expertise required of this role in addition to the above, is to ensure that Controlling Chemsex has a robust and achievable fundraising strategy to maintain and grow its services working in close collaboration with our part-time Development Lead. We are looking for people with sound fundraising and voluntary/community sector experience who have the skills required to devise a robust and achievable fundraising strategy for Controlling Chemsex. The role will require an ability to take on board service data and evidence of need, capacity and requirements, with an understanding of Controlling Chemsex’s vision for future service delivery growth. This will be complemented by a clear grasp of funding contexts in London and the UK from which Controlling Chemsex might seek to secure financial support for services.
We require excellent fundraising experience and knowledge of Trust & Foundation sector practices and methods including planning; scheduling work; gaining long-term funding and/or cycles of funding –considering sustainability and development of services.Knowledge of other types of fundraising would be an asset e.g. individual donors, crowdfunding, campaign fundraising.

Controlling Chemsex would like support for our Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser to continue to develop our fundraising strategy with our Development Lead, which will support and underpin the growth and development of Controlling Chemsex ’s services and vision and align with our Financial Plan.

10. A minimum of 2 hours per week time investment as well as some quality control support with our part-time Development Lead.

We are looking for a Fundraising Trustee that can take our fundraising to the next level. The limb reconstruction process can be long, painful and challenging for patients' mental health. Rebuild has exciting plans to expand our psychological support for these patients but we need the help of an experienced fundraiser to do this.
Main responsibilities:
- Oversee fundraising and to make sure it is carried out in legal, honest and accountable ways.
- To identify funding opportunities.
- Contribute knowledge of fundraising techniques and strategies.
- To guide and advise the Trustees in the approval of the fundraising strategy and targets.

Finance Trustee
Are you interested in becoming a voluntary Finance Trustee? We are looking for an experienced and committed individual to play an essential role in the governance and development of a hospice charity dedicated to supporting people with terminal and life limiting illnesses.
Position: Finance Trustee (voluntary)
Location: Remote, with travel to Swindon
Time commitment: Trustees are asked to participate in quarterly Board meetings, preferably in person. Plus Trustees are asked to participate in and/or Chair, preferably in person, at least one Sub-committee. Meetings of these sub-Committees are held once every quarter. Trustee are also asked to attend the Annual General Meeting of the Hospice.

The Role

It should ensure that the Charity as a clear strategic direction and purpose, and a sense of urgency to get on with the work it was established to do. Been There is a small (but growing!) charity in the form of an app that connects people aged 18 and over with a vetted and trained mentor to help with any body image issues they may be experiencing. About the role:
If you are an experienced fundraiser, we need your help! Been There’s Board of Trustees share ultimate responsibility for governing the charity and directing how it is managed and run. As a member of the Board, you will help set the strategic aims, objectives and direction of the charity. The skills and knowledge you bring will enhance the Board and support Been There in achieving its charitable objectives
As a Fundraising Trustee, you will play a key role within our charity in assisting the Board to develop an ambitious fundraising strategy and help us to further improve the effectiveness of our income generation so we can maximise the number of service users we can provide support to. Context:

Role Overview:
As a Trustee at The Hepatitis C Trust with a focus on the Treasurer role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the financial stability and integrity of The Hepatitis C Trust. You will work closely with the Board of Trustees and the Chief Executive to oversee the financial management of the charity, providing strategic guidance and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic
· To assist and advise in the formation of the Charity’s strategy with particular regard to ensuring that the Charity has the resources to deliver the strategy.
· Ensure all strategic plans are financially appraised and budgets are aligned to both short-term and long-term objectives each year.
2 Financial Oversight
· To ensure that the Board receives appropriate budgetary and financial information on the activities of the charity including Annual Accounts

· To work with the CEO in the appointment of auditors and review on a regular basis.

3 Assets and Investments

Key Responsibilities:
Budgeting and strategic financial planning
