I am delighted to be working with a fantastic charity in search of an Interim Finance Manager. This is a full-time, London based hybrid role for 6-months. Key Roles and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the preparation of the monthly management accounts on a timely basis and assistance with the timely preparation of the Finance Report for the regular Trustee meetings.

Assist to ensure that the Charity complies with all financial, reporting and record keeping requirements.

Assist with compliance issues with the Charity Commission and Companies House and associated regulations.

Support the development and implementation of the ‘Grow and Improve’ strategy, in close partnership with the Senior Finance Manager, Head of Foundation and the Senior Leadership Team with an ability to challenge ideas.

A Finance expert, who can support peers and staff to develop their financial competencies, while ensuring staff feel valued and respected to excel in their roles.

You demonstrate the business acumen and relationship building skills to financially manage and control the Charity including assistance with the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts and to manage the day to day financial transactions.

You have the skills and experience to manage and maintain the necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management on a cost effective basis.

Summary of What We’re Looking For:

• Substantial experience in leading programmes and funding functions, within a relevant not-for-profit setting (eg hospital or healthcare charity).

• Proven ability in managing and reporting the impact of charitable programmes to senior stakeholders and boards / committees.

• Deep understanding of the healthcare context, including political context, research and innovation environments, partnered with an understanding of the charity landscape.

• Strong strategic thinking with excellent leadership skills and experience in managing and developing others.

• Educated to at least degree level in a relevant field (such as biomedical science) or equivalent relevant work experience.

We are looking for a Giggle Doctor Programme Administrator to join our busy programme team, to support the day-to-day operations of our Giggle Doctor programme for hospitals.

This is a part-time, one-year contract to support the running of the Giggle Doctor programme while a member of the team is on maternity leave. We are flexible as to which days are worked, providing that the post-holder has a fixed working pattern over a minimum of 3 days per week. Job Description

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Administration

· Act as first point of call for artists regarding their visits to hospitals, overseeing sickness, cover and changes to their schedules

· Support artists with hospital administration and contracts

· Keep artists updated with changes in Theodora Children’s Charity’s policies

· Process changes to the Giggle Doctor schedule on our internal systems

· Liaise with hospitals and keep them up to date with information about their programme of Giggle Doctor visits

· Set up meetings with hospitals, artists and Theodora Foundation colleagues as required

· Book long-distance travel and hotels for artists for hospital visits and training events when required

· Support the Finance Manager and Giggle Doctor Programme Manager with collecting and filing timesheets, invoices and receipts for payment

Training and Events

· Support the Giggle Doctor Programme Manager with events, including booking rooms, resources and catering

· Attend training events for Giggle Doctors, setting up and packing down as needed

Impact and Programme Monitoring

· Support the Giggle Doctor Programme Manager with monitoring Trainee and Junior Giggle Doctor’s progress and keeping records of their observation notes

ABOUT US: The Counselling Partnership is an independent, local community charity.  We are committed to improving mental well-being by providing professional, affordable one-to-one counselling to adults facing a variety of difficulties.  These include depression, bereavement, anger, stress, anxiety, abuse, loss, phobias, post-traumatic stress, relationship, self-esteem, trauma and work or career-related issues. 

The Charity has a double purpose.  Addressing the psychological needs of our local community through appropriate counselling interventions is our first objective, but we do this by offering counsellors in training appropriate clinical experience, thereby helping to grow the counselling resources available to the wider community.

We have two outreach counselling rooms in Walton on Thames and Woking and provide on-line counselling to clients throughout Surrey.

The service provides individual therapy to people who have mild to moderate psychological issues, and we are able to offer counselling for up to a year, for clients who require longer term intervention to address presenting issues.

We are seeking an experienced individual to oversee all aspects of the Trust’s property management in line with the Malvern Hills Acts.  Reporting to the CEO, the candidate will be responsible for the safe provision of visitor infrastructure, boundary and real property management, land acquisition, licensing and planning across the estate.

The successful applicant will be:

· Educated to a degree standard or equivalent by experience

· Hold a chartered surveyor qualification or be working towards it

· A member of a relevant professional body e.g. RICS or CAAV

· Able to manage difficult issues with a level of sensitivity in contribution to the Trust’s overall reputation

· A good negotiator

· Full valid UK driving licence.

My Life My Choice (MLMC) is a self-advocacy charity run by and for people with learning disabilities, founded in 1998.  The charity delivers a diverse range of innovative and user led projects that enhance and empower the lives of adults with learning disabilities in Oxfordshire.  These established projects include Professional Services (training, consultancy & research), Champions who speak up and campaign, Travel Buddy scheme, 15 local self-help groups, and Gig Buddies.

The role

My Life My Choice (MLMC) is a self-advocacy charity run by and for people with learning disabilities, founded in 1998.  The charity delivers a diverse range of innovative and user led projects that enhance and empower the lives of adults with learning disabilities in Oxfordshire.  These established projects include Professional Services (training, consultancy & research), Champions who speak up and campaign, Travel Buddy scheme, 15 local self-help groups, and Gig Buddies.

MLMC is now looking for a part-time Finance and Administration Officer.  The successful applicant will manage MLMC’s day-to-day finances providing financial information to the Charity Coordinator and other staff as needed. Additional duties include administration/governance support to the Charity Coordinator and to manage the day to day running of the office (this does not involve any people management). This role calls for an individual with accounts and/or book keeping experience, the ability to run an end to end payroll using a computerised system including HMRC and year end reporting, and excellent administration skills. It is crucial that you will be able to communicate politely, professionally, effectively and clearly with all stakeholders (e.g. fellow staff, customers etc.).

All of the charity’s roles require individuals who show a passion for empowering, working with, and raising the voices of people with learning disabilities.

We need a self-starter who enjoys a challenge, can hit the ground running and is able to work with minimal supervision.
