Age UK are recruiting for Network Engagement & Support Managers to work closely with a regional allocation of local Age UK partners to:Establish strong relationships with local leaders in particular COs and Chairs and develop a comprehensive understanding of each allocated partner, their strategy, priorities, specialisms, and challenges acting as a sounding board for strategic development, planning and problem solving.
Facilitating effective connections and engagements that enable knowledge sharing and learning and specialist or peer support between partners, the national organisation, within regions and with outsourced support where appropriate.
To be a subject matter expert on allocated local partners, gathering intelligence and disseminating appropriately, advocating on behalf of the network by working collaboratively across the team and division to give an amplified voice to partners within the national organisation and governance.
This is a home-based role for UK based candidates only.
There is a requirement to travel to Network partners across the UK as and when required. This may include overnight stays.

The post holder will play a pivotal role in leading this piece of work with two main objectives:

About you
We are looking for candidates who have:

- Proven experience in managing projects from initiation to completion, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource management.
- Experience working on projects for people who have experienced forced migration, particularly, in the refugee employment sphere would be desirable.

In the last year we have seen a 25% increase in members who are living with Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH) across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. About the Brent Centre for Young People (BCYP)
The Brent Centre for Young People is the leading mental health charity for young people in Northwest London, helping over 700 young people a year with a wide range of issues. Fundraising at BCYP
BCYP has historically been very successful in raising funds from non-statutory sources, particularly trusts and foundations, and is grateful to hold a number of established relationships with grant- makers. We work hard to ensure that we submit excellent, data-driven applications and evaluations. Until now, applications have largely been submitted by our Fundraising Manager- Trusts & Foundations, with occasional support from a freelance bid-writer. This role involves high-volume recruitment administration, including generating contracts and offer letters, conducting pre-employment checks, and managing payroll entries. We are looking for detail-oriented candidates with strong customer service skills, and experience in recruitment administration, ideally within higher education or a similar environment.
You will work within a collaborative team, each responsible for different recruitment areas across professional services, academic, clinical, or research roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a seamless recruitment administration service to employees and managers, ensuring all documentation is accurate and professional.
- Respond to queries via internal communication platforms within agreed timeframes.
- Ensure data accuracy on HR systems and employee records platforms.

- Manage large, varied workloads, meeting multiple deadlines.

I am delighted to be working with a fantastic charity in search of an Interim Finance Manager. This is a full-time, London based hybrid role for 6-months. As Finance Manager you will have responsibility for primarily the management accounts of the Charity. The Finance Manager will work closely with the Senior Finance Manager, the Head of Foundation and the rest of the Senior Leadership team to ensure that the Charity is financially controlled and effectively and efficiently managed in all areas of operation.
The Finance Manager is ‘hands-on’ leading and managing on the Foundation targets set out within the Foundation’s five year ‘Grow & Improve’ strategy. He/she works across all of the Foundation’s operations team and the Business team to ensure that all parts of the Charity are well managed and financially controlled, building the base on which the Foundation can continue to thrive and grow.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the preparation of the monthly management accounts on a timely basis and assistance with the timely preparation of the Finance Report for the regular Trustee meetings.
Assist to ensure that the Charity complies with all financial, reporting and record keeping requirements.
Assist with compliance issues with the Charity Commission and Companies House and associated regulations.
Support the development and implementation of the ‘Grow and Improve’ strategy, in close partnership with the Senior Finance Manager, Head of Foundation and the Senior Leadership Team with an ability to challenge ideas.
A Finance expert, who can support peers and staff to develop their financial competencies, while ensuring staff feel valued and respected to excel in their roles.
You demonstrate the business acumen and relationship building skills to financially manage and control the Charity including assistance with the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts and to manage the day to day financial transactions.
You have the skills and experience to manage and maintain the necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management on a cost effective basis.
Support on the writing of grant applications and reporting.

Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse (AAFDA) was founded by Frank Mullane in memory of his sister Julia Pemberton and her son Will who were both killed by her ex-partner in 2003.
Each year, around 150 families lose a loved one to domestic homicide. The actual number of suicides as a result of domestic abuse remains unknown. AAFDA’s prime function is to provide families in England and Wales with specialist peer support and expert and specialist advocacy for the range of statutory reviews that will take place after domestic homicide.
As a growing charity, AAFDA is looking for an exceptional candidate to join our supportive team and lead our finance and resource management functions. The role will provide and manage the HR, administration and finance activities of the charity and sit within the Senior Leadership Team.

About the Role:
The Assessment Coordinator is the conduit for young people to access the youth accommodation pathway in Greenwich. As well as triage and intake, the role supports young people by navigating their journey either by facilitating their safe return home, or into longer term suitable supported accommodation.
You will provide specialist assessment and interventions for a designated caseload. You will provide mediation where needed and advise/ facilitate restorative work with the young person and their family.
About you:
- You have two years’ experience of assessing the needs of young people in a residential/ accommodation setting.
- Proven experience and skills in delivering casework and planned support for young people.
- A strong understanding and practical knowledge relating to issues that typically disrupt progress in journeys towards independence. E.g. mental health, substance use, self-harm, domestic violence, anger management etc
- Evidence an ability to navigate between and across specialties whilst working with clients to create a multi-agency support plan.
- The ability to work within systems and families, to enable young people (that can) to return home.
