Overall purpose
The Senior Communications Manager is responsible for developing, leading and implementing key aspects of our communications and engagement strategy. We’re looking for a Marketing & Communications Administrator with experience and enthusiasm for community outreach to join a well-established and vital organisation. The Marketing & Communications Administrator reports to the Senior Manager – Children & Community and works in a team alongside the Community Development worker to build and enhance all of T&T’s work. The part-time role combines business and creativity to maintain Time & Talents’ voice and presence, connecting with local children, families, adults and older people in the Bermondsey and Rotherhithe areas – that is to say, all of our neighbours! What we do Time & Talents is a lively, busy community centre in the heart of Rotherhithe, London SE16. Set in a leafy heritage building, and ‘T&T2’, our second venue in Surrey Quays Shopping Centre, we offer something for everyone. With a history of 137 years of supporting people of all ages in Rotherhithe and Bermondsey, we bring people together for mutual support, fun and friendship, with a wide range of services and activities for older people and other adults, along with children and families’ programmes and a range of volunteering projects.
The role
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
• Maintain social media accounts, website, regular newsletters and promotional materials in close collaboration with programme teams
• Collaborate with management team to create effective, engaging reports to a range of funders and other stakeholders
• Lead on community fundraising initiatives with management team support
• Maintain a unified tone and thematic approach across all media and marketing platforms

You have strong written communication skills and a keen eye for creating visually-appealing, engaging content. You’re flexible, accountable, take responsibility, are highly organised and skilled in multitasking and balancing priorities.

Digital Projects Officer

Charity People are working with a social welfare charity to find them a new Digital Projects Officer, to help project manage a range of digital initiatives and support with implementation and effectiveness of the charity's operations. Working in a small team, you will assist the Digital Projects Manager to identify opportunities for digital improvements with existing processes, and to upskill staff to use new and existing digital tools. You will help lead on digital projects for the charity, to help scope requirements, understand regulatory needs, costs, and advise on process and implementation. You will source, manage, and assess suppliers and agencies for digital projects.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated team player who thrives working as part of a small collaborative team and has strong experience of working successfully in a similar digital project's role for a large charitable organisation with recent knowledge of digital and fundraising innovations, best practice, and compliance requirements.
You will require an understanding of implementing large and complex digital projects including project scoping, and experience of analysing and reporting on KPIs to monitor service performance. Therefore, the team require someone who has worked in a digital projects role in the sector, who has the confidence to come in and take ownership of projects.
The role is set to start early October with interviews being held at the end of September.
Please note, the hourly rate will be based on the working arrangements. If the successful postholder requires remote working then the hourly rate is based on a salary of £32,590 per annum, if the candidate works two days per week in the London office, then the hourly rate would be based on £36,502 per annum.

You will lead an exciting and unique local giving programme, engaging new communities of givers, leading impactful campaigns to raise awareness of the good causes and needs in Lewisham and develop a legacy of local giving in Lewisham.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
· Work closely with the Committee and key stakeholders focusing on a shared vision, mission of Lewisham Giving and to successfully deliver the strategy.
· Produce an annual plan of work that sets out the key priorities and activities for Lewisham Giving and is approved by the Committee
· Proactively establish and nurture a network of businesses, residents, community organisations, and individuals who will contribute time, money, skills, opportunities and connections to ensure a sustainable Giving model for Lewisham.
· Commission or carry out research as necessary to understand unmet need and inform plans to maximise impact.
· Further develop the giving model for Lewisham through co-design with residents and other relevant agencies and monitor and report on their impact.

Funded by the Armed Forces Covenant Trust & NHSE, this work will transform the experiences of female veterans, and address barriers to access in areas including health and wellbeing, transition and employment, care, finance and pensions, housing, terms of service, historic hurt and loneliness. Collaborating across government, statutory, charity, and commercial organisations, the project will innovate within the sector, design sustainable provisions and translate research into action.
Reporting to the Project Lead for the Female Veterans Transformation Programme, you will be responsible for delivering the communication and engagement strategy during the course of the programme. This includes engagement and consultation with key stakeholders including Office of Veteran Affairs, MoD, NHS England, devolved nations health services, Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force (including Associations and charities), Veterans Commissioners, other veteran-facing organisations aligned through the Cobseo Female Veterans Cluster Group and female veterans themselves.
