About the Role...

You will play a crucial role in providing effective and high-quality support and resettlement services to vulnerable single homeless adults housed by the charity. Support workers are vital members of our team as they provide support to tenants, helping them to develop the life-skills they require to move on to independent living. The Role

The Ealing Early Intervention Service has been commissioned to provide direct and systemic work to address moderate mental health needs.
The Child and Family Specialist will work in partnership with schools, children and families to assess and respond to the psychological needs of children experiencing social, emotional, mental health or behavioural difficulties through undertaking assessments and providing interventions. The post-holder will also: provide specialist advice and support to school staff in the identification of mental health needs of children and accessing appropriate resources; and actively contribute to outcome monitoring and service improvement.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a commissioned service delivering direct interventions for young people and their families. The post-holder will offer a range of clinical activities to address mental health needs in children and young people, including direct individual and group work with young people and parents/carers and joint work with other professionals. The clinical case presentation is mostly moderate risk and requires insight into handling complex clinical cases (e.g. neurodiverse and trauma-inform practice) and appropriate responses to safeguarding concerns.
The Child and Family Specialist will join a small team of 12 people in a fast-paced working dynamic. The post-holder will be supported through supervision and will deliver consultation, training, and workshops to non-mental health staff.

As a member of the People Directorate Leadership Team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering Learning and Colleague Engagement strategies, frameworks and plans that drive a positive employee and volunteer experience, resulting in a job ready and engaged workforce.
You will therefore need to demonstrate your abilities in the following areas:
- Developing the Learning strategy across the organisation.
- Identifying and putting plans in place to address the learning and development needs of all clinical and non-clinical employees and volunteers at all levels (including induction, management and leadership development).
- Setting the frameworks for monitoring and recording all learning activity, ensuring reports are provided to Committees as required.
- Developing the Colleague Engagement strategy across the organisation.
- Identifying and putting plans in place to address the communication needs of employees and volunteers at all levels (including organisational, culture and leadership comms not local and tactical comms).
- Deploying Rennie Grove Peace's chosen Listening Tool then understanding the results and collaborating with colleagues to drive workplace improvement.

- Performing all people management responsibilities on time, supported by Rennie Grove Peace policies and procedures, including absence management, performance management, disciplinary and grievances.

We are searching for a Peer Support Worker to join our Mental Health services. The role is a peer support worker, who would facilitate groups, and help us with the smooth running of Mind BLMK services. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the recovery journey needed to improve mental health and wellbeing.
Our peer support and recovery services are a key element of the services we offer, and we are looking for someone who can use their own lived experiences to provide support to help individuals achieve their goals. If you feel like you would be suitable for this role, we can’t wait to hear from you.
Service Delivery
- Facilitate Peer Support groups and ensure outcomes which support individuals
- with mental health and wellbeing needs and achieves the service’s KPIs.
- Support clients to access other services within Mind BLMK.
- Encourage and support client engagement with Mind BLMK through the influence and participation process, Guarantor Membership, and training opportunities.
- Identify and build good working relationships with Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust, community groups, relevant services and activities for partnership work and signposting as well as keep updated information about them.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Mind BLMK team and relevant key post holders.
- Contribute to maintaining an effective volunteer workforce for the service in line with Mind BLMK’s HR policies, procedures and guidance (workload planning and support).
- Carry out Cash Handling, Health and Safety and Data Collection responsibilities as directed by the Team Leader in line with Mind BLMK’s policies, procedures, requirements and guidance.

This role is an opportunity to work for Mind BLMK as part of the peer support service, you will have the opportunity to use your own personal experience of mental health challenges to coordinate the running of a Peer Support Service in Milton Keynes, provide information and guidance, and implement referral pathways to the wider Recovery Service.
