Reporting into the Digital Marketing and Media Manager you’ll be responsible for the delivery of digital marketing and communications, website content and press.

You’ll help to directly build brand awareness and grow our fundraising and services which will transform the young lives of those with the most complex disabilities.

What you’ll need for the role:

JOB PURPOSE

Start Network is looking for an Institutional Funding Manager who is strategic, ambitious, and a great team player. You will work with the Head of Resource Mobilisation to set and deliver a strategy to maximise our institutional funding portfolio and grow our income substantially over the coming three years (from £38m annually to £50m). This role will be key to enabling Start Network to deliver on its strategy, and the postholder will have the opportunity to engage across all areas of Start Network’s programmes. The Institutional Fundraising manager will be responsible for securing and overseeing significant levels of income from institutional sources for Start Network’s work globally, including working with programmes teams on project development and the preparation of high-value proposals for institutional donors (narrative, budgets, monitoring frameworks and other technical documents). The postholder will be expected to work at both an operational and strategic level, managing their own portfolio of donors (such as FCDO who is our largest donor), securing new business from scratch, and providing Start Network with tactical direction on donor outreach and compliance.

Currently, we receive funding from multiple European governments and FCDO so experience with these funders plus USAID would be critical for this role.

The Educational Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) programme is a one-year postgraduate diploma course and is part of the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Psychological Training Programmes (previously CYP IAPT). In collaboration with University College London (UCL) as the degree awarding body, Anna Freud is recruiting a Programme Director to lead the delivery of the Educational Mental Health Practitioner programme.

The EMHP Programme Director role sits within the Education and Training Division at Anna Freud within the Workforce Programmes stream in Post-Graduate Studies.   

The post-holder will deliver a high quality, academically coherent and inclusive programme curriculum in line with the evolving EMHP National Curriculum, UCL and British Psychological Society (BPS) accreditation standards. 

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of implementing CBT-informed interventions for low mood and anxiety as well evidence-based interventions for behavioural difficulties in educational settings; have a strong, demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion and education and have experience in curriculum design, assessment and teaching in Higher Education.

The role is held within a supportive leadership team who are committed to improving the mental health of all children, young people and families.

At FearFree we are proud to deliver services across the Southwest to those impacted by domestic abuse, and we're excited to be expanding our offer, with the introduction of a new Rediscovering Independence through Support and Empowerment (RISE) Service. 

As a Support Advisor working full time or part time, you will be a fundamental part of our team, supporting the delivery of the RISE programmes and the development of the service. The service will provide a range of trauma-informed and person-centred support, focused on supporting those impacted by abuse to access education, training, employment or volunteering.

You will be responsible for providing trauma informed support through group work and 1-1 support. Working part time or full time alongside a team of practitioners across our geographical patch in Gloucester, providing support to Bristol and North Wilts as required, the project aims to:

• Increase volunteers in FearFree and support people to access volunteering opportunities externally.
• Support individuals impacted by abuse to access training and employment.
• Help people access bespoke apprenticeships and internships.
• Support service users to increase and advance work related skills, such as the development of CVs, financial management and IT skills.
• Raise awareness of this agenda to a wider network.

The service will support victims of Domestic Abuse, Sexual Violence and Stalking aged 15 and above, alongside perpetrators of Domestic Abuse – empowering victims and reducing the risk of recidivism for perpetrators.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in working with vulnerable people and an understanding / experience of theEmployment, Training and Education (ETE) sector. They will have an understanding of trauma informed practice and ideally have experience implementing this within group and 1-1 settings. About the NEL VCSE Collaborative

The North East London (NEL) Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Collaborative works closely with the ICB to work together strategically by shaping, improving and delivering services and contributes to the system design and organisational development of the ICB, ensuring Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) contribution.

The leadership group of the seven borough representatives meets monthly and is currently working to develop a VCFSE strategy to raise the profile of the sector and support the VCFSE to work in partnership with the health system to address local health inequalities and improve the health outcomes of the communities in NEL. We are a large and busy Church of England parish and are looking for an energetic and self-motivated Operations Manager to join our leadership team.  You will be someone who can oversee all the operational elements with appropriate attention to detail and processes and also take a full part in supporting new developments in line with our vision.

Our Operations Manager is moving on after almost 3 years in post so we are looking for someone to lead our Operations Team at All Saints Church, Ecclesall.

The role requires the oversight of four areas of church operations:

• Administration including finance

• Communications

• Estates

• Governance

You will manage the operations team (6 staff) and work closely with the ministry team, a wider range of active volunteers and users of our halls complex. You will be able to deal with issues sensitively and with an approach appropriate to our Christian faith. The role does include some evening and weekend work but will mainly be carried out during office hours.

Responsibilities:

General Operations Management

1.1 Manage the Church Office to ensure that the working environment and working practices are efficient, flexible and fully reflect the mission and values of All Saints.

1.2 Manage and maintain the church databases and files to ensure kept up to date and fully compliant with Data Protection legislation.

1.3 Working closely with the Ministry Team, including participation in the weekly senior team meeting, manage the church programme and calendar.

1.4 Oversee the preparation of the resources required to support the weekly services, major church festivals and other church events. Lead on arranging some events.

1.5 Oversee enquiries about baptisms, weddings, funerals and church yard.

1.6 Provide informed support to volunteers in all areas of administration and operations covering a wide range of regular and adhoc activities.

Communications

2.1 Support the Vicar in ensuring timely, appropriate and effective internal and external communications including the weekly e-mail and hard copy church notices.

2.2 Ensure that the website is regularly reviewed and updated, as required.

2.3 Manage All Saints’ profile and activity on social media.

2.4 Respond to enquiries and requests from the Diocese, local community and external organizations, as required.

The Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust was established in 1982 to support UK registered animal welfare charities involved with the rescue, rehabilitation, release and rehoming of domestic and wild animals; the conservation of wildlife and its habitat and the promotion of the understanding of animals and their welfare. By giving to smaller organisations, relatively modest grants can have a significant impact on animals and those who care for them.

As Administrative Assistant you will work alongside the Administrator to ensure this impact is sustained by monitoring and evaluating applications from submission through to awarding and beyond. AAFDA was founded by Frank Mullane in memory of his sister Julia Pemberton and her son Will who were both killed by her ex-partner in 2003.

Each year, around 150 families lose a loved one to domestic homicide. The actual number of suicides as a result of domestic abuse remains unknown.  Most of these families suffer significant problems including relationship breakdown, job difficulties/loss and mental and physical health issues. We help these families in many ways, our prime function being to provide families in England and Wales with specialist peer support and expert and specialist advocacy for the range of statutory reviews that will take place after domestic homicide.

AAFDA (Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse) is a growing Charity and to meet the demands of this growth, we are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our team in a highly rewarding opportunity. Although home based, some travel will be required - frequency will be commensurate to the role. Our Specialist Advocates support families impacted by fatal domestic abuse through provision of lay advocacy for and on behalf of families with a range of statutory service providers (e.g. those conducting reviews and inquiries, social services, police, housing) and work to build good relations between all parties.  To ensure that families get the support they need, you will use AAFDA’s Home Office endorsed seven-step approach to working with individuals and families, to ensure that they receive the best possible support and advocacy to restore dignity and relief for families and to help them cope and recover. Through trauma-informed approaches, you will:

• listen to families and advocate for them in a complex system that too often treats them as passive participants and overlooks the value of their insight;
• provide information, support, guidance, advice and advocacy on Domestic Homicide Reviews, Mental Health Reviews, Inquests, Independent Office of Police Conduct inquiries and other types of Inquiries;
• manage families’ expectations of the legal and procedural processes facing them by supporting families in meetings with agencies such as health, police and local authorities;
• give families practical help on a wide range of issues - including help with letter writing or advocating with employers and local authorities on the families’ behalf;
• Support AAFDA in our bringing families together in AAFDA’s peer support events, such as the Hear Our Voice weekend and the on-line peer support Zoom sessions, where families can speak with others to share their experiences and stories. This will involve occasional evening work.

As a Supported Housing Support Worker you will hold a caseload of residents, working with them on a one-to-one basis with also facilitating group work sessions. You will identify their needs by listening to them, with employing psychologically informed approaches to enable residents to make better choices and take responsibility for their actions. You will work closely with other services such as, Social Services, Police, Probation, education providers and local organisations. Our projects already have excellent working relationships with these services, and your role will build on these. You will be helping them to improve their practical living skills such as cleaning, budgeting, managing behaviour, seeking, and securing employment and making wise decisions. Overall purpose

Your primary responsibility will be to lead Breaking Barriers’ employment programme in Birmingham and the West Midlands, and support the Senior Employment Services Manager and Director of Services in ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency in the support we provide to clients.  

Working closely with the Senior Employment Services Manager, you will take ownership of delivery within this region and lead on the delivery of the contract, including maintaining effective external stakeholder relationships and providing accurate and timely reporting. You will line manage and support a team of Employment Advisers (“Advisers”), enabling them to provide high-quality support to clients and coordinate the day-to-day operational activity which keeps our programmes running.

You are a highly organised and effective worker who knows when to adopt a creative approach and when to follow the established process. You will have an empathetic manner, be willing to go the extra mile to support clients and be proactive in looking for ways to improve our service. Lived experience would be helpful but is not essential.  

In addition to exceptional people skills, you will be a strong communicator and possess meticulous attention to detail. You will be confident working autonomously, helped by excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise and cope with interruptions.

You should have at a demonstrable track record of transferrable work experience in coordinating service delivery, projects or programmes, or another relevant field. Equally important is a demonstrable commitment to working with marginalised populations who face barriers to employment, particularly refugees. A strong interest in employability support and experience delivering employment programmes or careers advice would be a strong advantage.

Oasis is looking for someone who can combine an entrepreneurial flair and excellent leadership skills to become the next Community Hub Leader supporting the established Hub at North Bristol. 

The post holder will lead the development of the Hub, based in the Lawrence Weston area of Bristol supporting the Oasis Academies and wider local community, and to hold the vision of integrated community delivery, which will include a range of services such as family support, volunteering, youth mentoring, deliver a food pantry, community events and a toddler group.
