Through our 6 week course we help them to feel calm, confident, to have positive thoughts about themselves, to have higher self esteem and trust in others. We work with over 2000 children and young people across the UK every year and have reached over 14,000 over the past 14 years.
It is an exciting time to join the charity - we have a new CEO in post who has plans to take this charity to new heights - reaching even more children than ever before and we need an experienced fundraiser who can help us achieve that vision. Working as part of a small fundraising team you will have the ability to really make a substantial difference.
The role is advertised as 15 hours however there is the hope that this will end up being increased in the not too distant future. We will consider candidiates working remotely but for those based near HQ (Newquay, Cornwall) you will be able to join in with our pre work swims/paddles/coffee on the beach and our Bring and Share lunches! The aim of this exciting role is to contribute to the delivery of Mind in Tower Hamlets (MITHNR) and East London Foundation NHS Trust’s (ELFT) Talking Therapies Employment Advice Service.
Purpose of the role
To provide employment advice to patients accessing ELFT NHS Talking Therapies, supporting patients to gain and/or retain employment via one to one information, advice and guidance sessions. This role is part of the national Employment Advice in NHS Talking Therapies programme and has been accredited by the Matrix standards for information, advice and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
Role Specific
· Maintain a caseload of clients offering one to one support to help clients find, remain or retain employment.
· Carry out initial telephone assessments and action plans using SMART goals to identify clients goals and barriers to employment.
· Offer a range of employment support interventions to clients that will support them to find, remain or return to work.
· Offer one to one sessions at least 1 evening per week where working hours will be 11 – 6:30pm
· Work in an integrated way with the IAPT clinical team to demonstrate a seamless service to the client. Co-location to different NHS IAPT services and centres across Tower Hamlets to offer Employment Advice.
· Support clients to create CVs, Cover Letters, write applications, inform clients of job search techniques, and provide mock interview practice.
· Provide 1-2-1 support to clients to enable them to return to work after long term sickness absence or other reasons
· Work closely with employers to support clients to remain in their jobs by negotiating reasonable adjustments at the workplace
· Work closely with local employment law professionals and trade unions to offer clients and their employers with information about their employment rights and responsibilities
· Manage allocated service project and work with the team to ensure referrals are received on time
· Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed on time, including questionnaires, reports and minutes for each client engagement and that these are regularly updated using the IAPTus (patient database system) and protocols.
· Ensure Caseload Management Tool is regularly up to date with client session information and targets.
· Signpost the client, where necessary, to other agencies who will be able to provide advice on benefits or support that the client may be entitled to

· Comply with, promote, and contribute to the development of MindTHNR’s: Aims and

· Attend appropriate internal, external training courses, E-Learning, supervision, and staff team meetings and away days.
· Other than where central administrative support is available, to be administratively self-servicing.
You must have:
· At least 1 year of providing Employment Advice or equivalent work experience in Employment/IAG Sector
· Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience.
· Ability to provide 1-2-1-person centred employment advice
· At least 1 year’s case load management experience
· Demonstrable experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team and establishing good working relationships with other provider organisations, e.g., legal advice, job centres and HR
· Experience in offering advice around employment issues including welfare benefits
· Experience of engaging and working with employers in supporting people to gain and retain employment
· Experience of using client database systems and IT systems
· Understanding of Adult Safeguarding principles
· Ability to work well under pressure and deal with conflicting demands and plan, prioritise and manage deadlines and workloads.
· Good understanding of legislation, good practice and
· guidance in relation to employment rights, disabilities, and welfare benefits
· Understanding of the challenges faced by employers when supporting employees with common mental health difficulties

The Development Trusts Association Wales (DTA Wales) is an independent practitioner-based membership organisation promoting the work of, and supporting the growing network of, community enterprises in Wales. Our members are all independent not-for profit organisations who are serving their communities through a wide variety of services and initiatives.
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable comms professional to deliver engaging communications and event support in both English and Cymraeg for DTA Wales and our Egin programme. We need someone who loves telling stories to convey the power of community action, and who excels at curating online and in-person events which support it.

As the COO, you will support the CEO in executing the strategic plans and directives, while overseeing the efficacy of the organisation’s strategy and implementing changes needed for the growth and development of the organisation. Ultimately your purpose is to support the continued success and growth of the organisation through good management, communication and relationship-building, without compromising on their commitment to working with people who use their service as colleagues and assets.
To be successful in this role you will be a senior level manager who has energy and drive as well as sound judgement. On top of a strong track record in an operational position, you will have the breadth of experience to oversee their operations strategy and systems, commercial activity, budget management, monitoring and evaluation. You will have a proven track record of success in senior-level general or commercial management. You will be a clear, analytical thinker who will strengthen the leadership of the charity. In addition, you will be an excellent manager of people, able to support team members with varying skills and abilities, including some who may come from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Criminal Justice Team Leader
We are seeking a Criminal Justice Team Leader to join a service in East London. This is an exciting new opportunity, to work flexibly and creatively as a member of our multidisciplinary team to determine what is required to make the greatest positive impact on everyone who is referred to the programme.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing a team of employees and managing performance, sick leave, supervision (including reflective practice), and ensuring that employees adhere to internal and external policies that are relevant to their positions.
- Giving employees the tools they need to help service users realise their full potential as people and members of the community by empowering them to make choices, take initiative, and create opportunities.
- Assist your team and the designated safeguarding lead in making sure that the procedures followed by the team or service make it possible to identify service users, kids, and families who are in danger.
- Verify that personnel can provide interventions that lower risk to clients.
- Offer prompt, values-based feedback to employees so they may apply observed practice to improve service user outcomes.
- Take the lead in hiring, choosing, and orienting new employees.
Experience Necessary:
- Possess a degree or comparable relevant experience in education.
- Expertise and background in creating, managing, and providing health and social care services that meet high performance and quality requirements.
- Considerable expertise managing groups of people who assist families whose children are receiving social care intervention.
- Familiarity with the most recent laws pertaining to minors and safeguarding procedures
- Able to motivate, inspire, and lead a group.
- Possess strong communication skills both in writing and speech, as well as proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
