The role:
We believe Street Child has a huge opportunity to achieve even more growth in the Corporate Partnerships sector by diversifying our coverage and relationships into new industries and growth markets. The New Business Manager role will play a key role in leading our New Business activity outside of our existing portfolio. Reporting to our recently appointed Senior Manager for Partnership and New Business, your role will involve:
1. Core New Business activity: Researching and development of prospect lists for priority industries to implement New Business campaigns capable of securing multi-year high value partnerships. Responsibility for building Street Child’s network of corporate relationships and growing pipeline of corporate partnership opportunities.
2. Partnership and proposition development: Working closely with our colleagues in the Corporate Partnerships and Global Programme Funding teams to develop engaging and impactful partnership plans and project propositions, focusing on priority countries and programmes to support Street Child’s strategy and mission.
3. Corporate engagement with events: Utilising the portfolio of events Street Child has across the year to engage and steward corporate relationships, including Street Child owned events and external events including the World Economic Forum and UN General Assembly.
4. Purpose

Purpose of the Role
A key part of Chance to Shine’s Communications department, this role will have help to drive awareness of the charity – communicating our mission, vision and messages to key audiences.
Principal Responsibilities
The Communications Officer will support include the following areas:
- To offer support on a range of diverse projects and events to increase the profile and awareness of Chance to Shine
- To help with the planning, execution and analysis of communications and marketing campaigns throughout the year

What will I be doing?
Collaborating with the Senior Manager to lead the implementation and communication of Cancer Research UK's Audience Framework.
Supporting the Senior Manager to deliver a programme of market insight & experience projects with a particular focus on segmentation and audience-centric projects.
Carrying out quantitative audience market data analysis using SPSS and Excel.
Using audience market data to advise colleagues across the Marketing, Fundraising & Events directorate on how best to approach our target audience.
Carrying out end-to-end market research projects which will include leading primary research projects and carrying out secondary data analysis.
Commissioning and managing market research agencies and consultants (including managing timelines, budgets, processes, data quality checks, and ensuring value for money).
Developing strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders helping them understand their insight requirements and ambitions.
What are you looking for?
Consumer-focused Research/ Insight professional with a background in quantitative market research techniques.
Strong quantitative analysis skills with experience handling large, complex market research data sets using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) or similar and advanced Excel.
Worked closely with Marketing teams to improve audience understanding and targeting.
Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills with an ability to communicate clearly and bring internal perspectives and external trends into your work.
Worked with audience segmentations or brand tracking is advantageous.
Proven background in project and agency management (including managing timelines, budgets, and processes) would be an advantage.
