As a member of the Charity's Leadership Team, you will be responsible for contributing to the ongoing development of our culture by embracing our vision, role modelling our values and driving positive colleague engagement.
As a member of the People Directorate Leadership Team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering Learning and Colleague Engagement strategies, frameworks and plans that drive a positive employee and volunteer experience, resulting in a job ready and engaged workforce.
You will therefore need to demonstrate your abilities in the following areas:
- Developing the Learning strategy across the organisation.
- Identifying and putting plans in place to address the learning and development needs of all clinical and non-clinical employees and volunteers at all levels (including induction, management and leadership development).
- Setting the frameworks for monitoring and recording all learning activity, ensuring reports are provided to Committees as required.
- Developing the Colleague Engagement strategy across the organisation.
- Identifying and putting plans in place to address the communication needs of employees and volunteers at all levels (including organisational, culture and leadership comms not local and tactical comms).
- Deploying Rennie Grove Peace's chosen Listening Tool then understanding the results and collaborating with colleagues to drive workplace improvement.
- Recruiting, selecting and retaining staff and volunteers with the right skills to deliver organisational strategy in line with our values.
- Performing all people management responsibilities on time, supported by Rennie Grove Peace policies and procedures, including absence management, performance management, disciplinary and grievances.
- Supporting personal development through coaching / support and training.

A small and friendly local charity is looking for someone who is organised with excellent communication skills who is keen to learn, develop and/or share their fundraising skills. This role would suit someone who is looking for a career change or has recently graudated and would like to become an excellent charity fundraiser or an experienced fundraiser who is keen to develop their skills and expertise to inform an imaginative fundraising strategy.

Our expert team of canine behaviourists provide behavioural support and advice to teams within Battersea, members of the public, and the rescue organisations we work with around the world. The team design and help implement behaviour modification and training plans for dogs whilst coaching members of the canine care groups through the practical day-to-day steps. They also assist with behavioural and welfare assessments of animals who come into our centres and are on hand to help manage and provide further support with dogs with more complex behavioural needs. The team provide support to dogs during their stay at Battersea, and are also available for continued advice after rehoming.
We are now looking to recruit a Canine Behaviour and Training Advisor for our team in Old Windsor. Within this role, you will work with our operational teams in the assessment and welfare of the dogs in our care and in the provision of behavioural training and advice for staff, volunteers, customers and external organisations. You will be working as part of a care group to create behaviour modification plans, support with handling difficult dogs and make recommendations, along with the individual care group, for individual dog outcomes.

Chance to Shine is an independent children’s charity. We change young people’s lives through cricket giving them the opportunity to play, learn and develop through the sport. We keep them physically active, teach them vital skills like teamwork, communication and leadership. And above all, they have fun.
Since 2005 our Chance to Shine Schools programme has helped reverse the decline of cricket in state schools with millions of boys and girls in over 13,000 state schools playing and learning through cricket. Chance to Shine Street supports young people in under-served communities to access and benefit from cricket in a free, inclusive, fun and fast-paced tape ball environment.
Purpose of the Role
A key part of Chance to Shine’s Communications department, this role will have help to drive awareness of the charity – communicating our mission, vision and messages to key audiences.
Principal Responsibilities
The Communications Officer will support include the following areas:
- To offer support on a range of diverse projects and events to increase the profile and awareness of Chance to Shine
- To help with the planning, execution and analysis of communications and marketing campaigns throughout the year
- To help manage the Chance to Shine brand internally and externally – including both written and visual brand guidelines
- Supporting the Director of Communications and Digital and the Fundraising team with the activation of corporate and funding partners
- Assisting with media liaison and monitoring including but not limited to:
Ø Managing the media contacts database
Ø Monitoring and organising media coverage
Ø Pitching stories to local print, online and broadcast media
Ø Managing relationships with designated media outlets
- To lead the charity’s application process for internal and external awards
- To help develop the Chance to Shine ambassador scheme; maintaining relationships and organising visits
- Supporting the Director of Communications and Digital in the production of key publications and documentation
- Support public affairs activities, including drafting letters, preparing lobbying documents, sharing information, and raising awareness of the charity
- To drive content and media activations with key partners such as the England and Wales Cricket Board and the Chance to Shine delivery network
- To help carry out any other tasks as required

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent IT skills: knowledge and experience of using MS Office Excel, Word and Outlook

- Able to work on own initiative-confident/self-starter/finisher
- An effective and enthusiastic team player
- Willingness to learn with a can do attitude
Experience & qualifications
Essential:
· Track record of working across multiple projects, campaigns or media activations simultaneously
· Experience with developing and executing marketing calendars
· Experience of pitching stories to local and national media outlets
· Familiarity with media monitoring tools
· Familiarity with campaign analysis tools
· Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Desirable:
- Experience in managing relationships with ambassadors or high-profile individuals
· Knowledge of Westminster and Parliament processes
· Experience in using graphic design tools
· Full and clean UK driver’s license

We are seeking to enlist an experienced Refugee General Adviser to become a valuable member of our vibrant and active advisory team. Your role will involve offering information and guidance on matters such as accessing welfare benefits, PIP, housing, NASS support, education, employment, and training. This assistance will be provided not only at our office but also via phone and during community outreach initiatives.
You should possess substantial experience in offering direct advisory support to clients, collaborating with statutory services, and possessing a comprehensive understanding of the challenges encountered by Asylum Seekers/Refugees, as well as the available resources for their aid. Additionally, you will need the capability to deliver training and workshops, function effectively as a collaborative team member, exhibit adept negotiation and communication abilities, and manage demanding situations with minimal oversight.
