We work with people who have current or recent experience of financial hardship and partners to provide people in financial crisis with the means and agency to get back on their feet, build resilience, move forward with their lives and thrive.
As an equal opportunities employer, we are committed to equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging and the value people from different backgrounds bring to a team. If, like us, you believe everyone has the right to have enough to live on, and you are ambitious about eradicating poverty, join us and build your career with a charity dedicated to ensuring dignity and equity for all.
Our vision is that everyone in the UK has financial security so they can thrive.
Our purpose is to offer support to those of us facing financial shocks and together challenge the systems and perceptions that cause financial insecurity.

We know that Turn2us will benefit from leaders with new perspectives and ways of thinking, so we’re actively encouraging broad interest from impactful leaders who bring transferable skills. More importantly is a clear alignment with our organisational values and a passion for supporting people facing financial hardship.
We are always eager to receive approaches from people with lived experience of financial insecurity. If you can demonstrate a clear commitment to our values and ethos, and a deep personal commitment to our vision, we’d love to hear from you.

40% of children from disadvantaged backgrounds leave primary school in England each year unable to read to the expected standard. Chapter One is a fast-growing charity, with a vision of a world in which all children have the literacy skills they need to thrive.
Many children fall behind with reading simply because they lack the opportunity to practise: we work to ensure that every child has 1:1 reading support at the time they need it most. About you
We are looking for a confident, established professional with extensive knowledge and networks across housing in Scotland, who is comfortable navigating faith spaces. You will be a project manager who is happy working independently and remotely, while achieving high quality deliverables.
About the role
We have recently received funding to explore expansion into Scotland for the Faith in Affordable Housing project. This will be a 15-month project with potential to expand, subject to funding.
The proposed project is to undertake a scoping exercise across Scotland, to ascertain the need for social and affordable housing, and the key stakeholders providing housing, as well as the potential presented by faith organisation-owned assets to meet housing need. The resulting feasibility study and business plan will then inform the potential next steps for Faith in Affordable Housing Scotland.
About us
Housing Justice is a charity that acts on homelessness and housing need across England and Wales. We work to prevent people from experiencing homelessness, help people out of homelessness or destitution, and enable the building of affordable homes. We also take a leading role as the voice of the faith and voluntary sector, supported by the Welsh and UK Governments. At Housing Justice, we value differences: we are a diverse organisation, and we work with people of all faiths and none. We seek to influence and bring about change for the benefit of those we serve through partnership, lobbying and networking. Our initiatives include Faith in Affordable Housing, Hosting people seeking sanctuary, Support for people from Ukraine, The Winter Night Shelter Network and Citadel.

- We are open to flexible approaches to working and will consider flexible working requests openly
