CISV International are looking for an experienced administrator to join the Risk Management and Safeguarding team as the Risk Management Support Officer.
The role will focus on supporting the International Risk Management and Safeguarding Lead and the Safeguarding Support Officer to handle the smooth running of the department as well as to help develop the Risk Management provision for our global members.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Leading on Risk Management administration projects
- Being the gatekeeper for the incident case management system, ensuring all reports and evidence are logged appropriately
- Helping to ensure volunteers comply with training requirements and supporting the development of training resources including online training packages
- Analysing data and statistics to assess seasonal performance of programmes and events
- Using standard Microsoft Office software to produce accurate reports and spreadsheets
We are looking for someone who is experienced and enthusiastic about joining an exciting, international organisation. You will need to be sensitive to working with people from different cultures all around the world. An understanding of working with volunteers would also be of benefit. As this role will be part of the Risk Management and Safeguarding team there is sometimes the potential to be dealing with very sensitive material involving safeguarding or child protection issues so you will need to be both resilient and adaptable.

• Proven ability in managing and reporting the impact of charitable programmes to senior stakeholders and boards / committees.
• Deep understanding of the healthcare context, including political context, research and innovation environments, partnered with an understanding of the charity landscape.
• Strong strategic thinking with excellent leadership skills and experience in managing and developing others.
• Educated to at least degree level in a relevant field (such as biomedical science) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and synthesise technical medical information to specialists and non-specialists.

Role Purpose
The Head of Research and Delivery will lead the delivery of programmes, client-facing projects and research initiatives for GDI Hub CIC, working across the key themes of Disability Inclusion, Inclusive Design and Cities, Climate Change, Gender, Financial Inclusion and Assistive Technology. It is expected that the role holder will have considerable experience across at least two of these themes and an appetite for both broadening and deepening their knowledge across the others. They will also collaborate with research leads and teams based across GDI Hub including the Academic Research Centre (ARC) at UCL.
This is a senior, strategic, role responsible for team management and leading key projects, leading client, donor and government relationships, and providing strategic subject matter expertise. It would suit someone with a proven-track record in the sector and requires a strong aptitude for strategic thinking, delivery management and the creation of tenable and evidence-based recommendations. They will be creative and collaborative with a drive to make the world a fairer place, inspiring others to do the same.
They will be responsible for delivery on projects and research under their remit and contribute to the development of new projects and research, working closely with partners and clients. Current funders, partners and clients include the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, Asian Development Bank, Climate Investment Funds, UNICEF, Carbon Trust and Expo City Dubai. This will involve leading a permanent team of six, which is expected to grow to eight by Q4 2024-25, and any external consultants brought online as required to deliver across a portfolio of work.
Role Responsibilities
Project and Research Delivery and Management
- Lead a growing portfolio of projects under the Research and Delivery team including a current portfolio of circa 10 active projects.
- Leadership of Global Thematic Goods sub-programme under the AT2030 programme, with direct project leadership of 2 workstreams (inclusive infrastructure and inclusive climate resilience).
- Lead the intellectual and strategic management of project delivery, ensuring that projects deliver clear messages aligned to programme targets, client needs and project scope and deliver impact.
- Take overall responsibility for the quality and timeliness of project delivery and deliverables, ensuring project management processes and procedures are being implemented correctly and outputs are to the highest standard in line with GDI Hub style.
- Provide overall research leadership in GDI HUB CIC, instilling academic rigour and driving innovative and inclusive research, managing researchers to deliver high quality outputs that are evidence-based, meeting internal/external expectations and tailored to target audiences.
- Plan and manage workplans, including emergent risks, challenges, change requests, budgets, travel, schedules, and scope.
Client Management and Reporting
- Manage and develop relationships with partners and stakeholders, to support effective collaboration.
- Provide leadership in client facing discussions, understanding needs and priorities, and linking these to project and team delivery plans.
- Engage with emerging opportunities as appropriate, leading proposal development with the wider team.
- Service project reporting requirements and instruct timely invoicing against project agreements.
Support Communications and External Engagement
- Strategic leadership of external engagement across their portfolio, attending and speaking at events, conferences and project workshops as needed, to drive impact of our work.
- Provide input to communications content and the events pipeline to further raise the profile, reach and impact of GDI Hub’s work.

Internal Team Management
- Manage and support the research and delivery team ensuring team members are informed, connected and working as a team, ensuring shared understanding of projects and individual delivery responsibilities.
- Work closely with the COO and Programme Management team to ensure sustainable delivery and resource management processes are followed.
- Ensure team resources are used in accordance with project budgets and actively tracked throughout delivery. Review resource capacity and factor into any new project bids or repeat business opportunities.
- Direct line management of Senior Inclusive Design Manager, Senior Financial Inclusion Researcher, Senior Social Researcher and Inclusive Climate Researcher. Support the team in their own line management responsibilities in line with planned activity.

Position Summary
The Global Center is seeking an early/mid-career professional to support capacity development programming that advances equitable collaboration between civil society, government, private sector, and multilateral actors to realize a more just and secure world.
Working under the supervision of colleagues addressing cross-cutting thematic and geographic programs, the successful candidate has a demonstrated passion for human rights, security, and development and is keen to contribute their skills to a diverse range of programs.
The position will initially support Global Center programs on rehabilitation and reintegration of former terrorism offenders in Bangladesh and Indonesia, as well as other Global Center projects relating to countering the financing of terrorism and other related issues. As needed, other engagements may include work to empower civil society, advance justice and good governance, and influence national, regional, and international security policy and practice.
Working alongside staff in London, Nairobi, New York, or DC you will collaborate with international experts, project partners, and funders to develop and implement programs globally, including regular travel to countries of operation.
Responsibilities will include a range of operational and administrative tasks in support of Global Center’s programs, including contributing to planning, delivery, evaluation and program activities; logistical planning, coordination, and execution of events and meetings; drafting and editing of project documents, correspondence, and meeting materials; data entry; note taking; research assistance; communication with partners, diplomats and vendors; database management and contacts maintenance; as well as other tasks as assigned.

Role and Responsibilities
As a member of an international, dynamic, and multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will be assigned the following responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of project workplans, including inception phase consultations and capacity development activities.
- Collaborate with team members, expert-practitioners, project partners, and funders in the development and implementation of program activities.
- Assist with the cultivation and management of a network of local, regional, and international beneficiaries, experts, partners, and donors from government, community groups, and civil society organizations.
- Organize the administrative and logistical planning of activities, including the preparation of meeting materials, securing venues and equipment, and arranging transportation.
- Support effective financial management of program activities, including adherence to organizational procurement policies, expense reporting, management of vendor relationships, and processing of contractual and vendor payments with approval.
- Collect data and contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of program activities.
- Produce rigorous reporting on program developments, experience, lessons learned, challenges, and assess short, medium and long-term results.
- Contributes to research tasks as needed, including program background research, issue and policy analysis, and research components of publications as needed.

Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in international relations, law, international development, criminology, sociology, security policy, or other related field is required.
- 2-5 years of professional experience is required.
- Excellent written communication skills are essential. Foreign language skills are desired, but not required.
- Experience interacting with internal and external contacts such as government and policymakers, civil society, and donors (experience in the Global South is an advantage).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
- Must have authorization to work in the United Kingdom, Kenya, or the United States.

Position Overview
The Programme Officer will support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Fobzu's advocacy and awareness, and building UK-Palestine higher education links programmes. This role involves working closely with the director, partners, managing projects, and ensuring the effective delivery of initiatives aimed at mobilising support for Palestinian universities and raising awareness about the challenges faced by Palestinian students and educators.

Senior Individual Giving Officer
Location: Hybrid working part London Office (Islington, London) part home work. The post holder will work a minimum of one day per week in the office.

The Senior Public Affairs and Research Officer will be critical in advancing FareShare’s policy agenda, as outlined in the manifesto. Working closely with the Public Affairs, Policy and Campaigns Consultant, you will lead efforts to engage influential stakeholders, create compelling content, and coordinate high-impact events. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence national policy and contribute to meaningful change in the food redistribution sector.
Key responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders, including government bodies, media, and academia, to advance FareShare’s policy objectives.
Policy, Research, and Briefings: Develop in-depth policy knowledge and produce well-researched briefings and reports articulating FareShare’s policy goals. Identify opportunities for FareShare to feed into Government consultations and Select Committees.
