As our Marketing Manager, you will drive our marketing strategy, manage social media, create engaging content, and collaborate with stakeholders to promote our mission. Your work will help make a meaningful impact on the lives of older people while elevating our brand and supporting key events.  
 
What will your typical day involve? 

You will develop and implement a marketing strategy aimed at reaching diverse audiences, including those in need of care, professionals, and donors. Managing social media across platforms, maintaining branding consistency, and liaising with external consultants will be key tasks. You will also maintain our website, design promotional materials, optimise SEO, and assist with photography and event materials, ensuring GDPR compliance. Promptly handling telephone and email enquiries is another essential responsibility. 

Collaboration is central to this role, as you’ll work with various departments, external partners, and suppliers to foster positive relationships in line with our values. Some evening and weekend work may be required to support events. 

Who are we looking for? 

We seek someone with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills, committed to making a difference. A good understanding of Jewish culture is essential, as are strong literacy and numeracy skills to produce written materials and statistical information. A Graduate Level qualification in Marketing/Media is essential.

Proven experience in marketing and communications, along with knowledge of office administrative procedures and excellent IT skills, is required. You should also have expertise in designing and managing marketing campaigns, with proficiency in Canva, InDesign, and Photoshop.

Join the National Portrait's Gallery’s Development team as Fundraising Manager, Grants. You'll work closely with the Senior Fundraising Manager to support the delivery of an ambitious and exciting fundraising programme and raise income through grant-giving bodies, including Trusts and Foundations, statutory funders, and corporate foundations.

The postholder will seek to secure critical support for budget-relieving activity taking place across the Gallery, including learning and engagement and exhibitions, as well as support for acquisitions, special projects, and capital works. A specialist Arts University based in central London is seeking an IT Support Manager for a full-time permanent role. The organisation is a prestigious arts focused University with around 600 students. They have two sites – one being the main teaching campus near Kings Cross, the other an art gallery with some teaching capacity, on the Strand.

The role is paying a starting salary of £50,942 per annum plus an excellent package including a leading pension and 36 days annual leave. The role will be based onsite predominantly at the Kings Cross site – working from home 1 day per week may be considered.

Reporting to the Head of Information Services, Systems & Technology (ISS&T)  and working in a small IT team of around 5 people, this role line manages 1 IT Support Officer and takes the lead on the service delivery aspects of the IT team. This covers frontline user support and managing the daily operations of the IT function. The organisation predominantly deploy Windows devices, but they have an increasing number of MACs so experience of supporting IOS would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will come from an IT Support/Manager background, should have experience managing small teams, and should have a strong user focus and service delivery background. Experience from within the Higher Education, Arts, Charity, or Membership sector would be advantageous for the role. The role will also involve the development of a new asset management tool and leading on a telephony focused project.

The post holder will:

-Manage the Service Desk for both sites and the relationship with the 3rd party providers

Candidate requirements:

-Degree level qualification and ITIL qualifications desirable 
-Recent proven experience of leading and developing an effective IT Support team and helpdesk service in a complex environment. Including setting targets, identifying training needs and delivering development plans
-Good technical knowledge of various hardware and software technologies including Windows, desktop PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, MFDs, Microsoft OS, Mac OS, Microsoft Active Directory, M365, and Adobe.

About the team

Created in early 2022, the team sits in the 6-person Brand, Planning, Insight and Evaluation team under the Audience Engagement and Planning sub directorate, within the Comms, Policy and Campaigns (CPC) department.

Providing integrated strategic advice, support and project leadership at all levels, the team delivers coherent, high quality, highly public engagement approaches to deliver Shelter’s strategy through audience insight and evidence of what works.

We are seeking an outstanding Programme Development Manager for Hand in Hand International to manage a complex portfolio of institutional and corporate grants and secure funds for new programmes.

Hand In Hand International helps to women beat the odds and succeed as entrepreneurs. The money they earn and the confidence they gain changes everything. Since 2003, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe, they have helped more than 5 million women launch small businesses that can stand the test of time.

As Programme Development Manager, you will identify, prospect and approach new institutional donors, converting them from prospects to secured funds including leading the creation of proposals, coordinating inputs from colleagues, drafting technical inputs, and engaging with funders.

To succeed in the role of Programme Development Manager, you will need:

• Proven fundraising experience in securing 6-7 figure, multi-year institutional and/or trusts and foundation grants
• Excellent relationship management skills with donors, across the funding cycle from prospecting to proposal management and reporting
• Experience with key thematic areas: women’s economic empowerment, value chains, livelihoods or enterprise acceleration within an NGO, government or the private sector
• Experience working in development projects in Eastern Africa: Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe. Experience in Afghanistan would be a plus.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Refugee Council – Philanthropy Manager
Location: Stratford, London (hybrid of home working and 1-2 days per week in Stratford Office)
Salary: £43,824-£48,063 (depending on experience)

Refugee Council is seeking an experienced philanthropy specialist to develop and grow the Refugee Council’s Philanthropy relationships and programme and deliver an ambitious Philanthropy strategy.

Refugee Council is a leading charity supporting refugees and people seeking asylum to rebuild their lives in safety here in the UK.  Providing practical, hands on support, their award winning services include welcoming refugees into local communities across the country, providing specialist children’s services – with a particular focus on refugee children who arrive here alone, helping people to navigate the asylum system, and supporting people to access housing and employment.  Evidence from services is then used to also inform the charity’s leading policy and influencing work, including campaigning for a fairer and kinder refugee protection system.  The charity works with more than 14,000 men, women and children every year.

As a result of growing need and increasing interest in Refugee Council’s work, the charity has ambitious plans to make a leap in impact, with investment in their Philanthropy Team to raise increased funds from key high value audiences.

This role will be a critical part of the Philanthropy & Partnerships Team and presents an exciting opportunity to grow Refugee Council’s established Philanthropy programme. The role will be responsible for delivering and creating bespoke development plans, supported by engaging cultivation and stewardship activities to secure increased funding from existing and new donors. It will also be a key point of contact for key Major Donors and high-profile supporters, patrons and ambassadors.

The position offers the opportunity to work alongside an engaged and well-connected Senior Management Team, supported by the Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships and a highly regarded and experienced Philanthropy Consultant to make the charity’s ambitions a reality.

To succeed, candidates will have experience of running a Philanthropy/major giving programme, with extensive experience of managing their own pool of donors, as well as a track record of securing five and six figure donations from high net-worth individuals. You will have extensive knowledge of the Major Donor landscape and your fundraising skills will be matched by your strategic planning and leadership abilities.

Refugee Council will provide the most moving and diverse case for support. Cases that encompass innovative external affairs campaigns aimed at engaging policy makers and the public.

Refugee Council knows that step change takes time and planning, and they have put together a plan for growth that is ambitious but is also realistic and allows time for development and engagement. This plan also includes recruiting prospecting, stewardship, and communications expertise, so that growth is supported, planned and achievable.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and ambitious team recently shortlisted for Fundraising Team of the Year at the 2023 Third Sector Awards, and working with the Third Sector 2023’s Frontline Service Team of the Year, as well as contributing to the transformation of the experiences of refugees seeking protection in the UK.
