Our client, a highly influential not-for-profit organisation now has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join them on a permanent basis and help align their HR strategies with their mission.

Please note; this role offers hybrid working requiring on average 2 days a week working in the central London office and 1 day a week in the north Kent office.

The key purpose of this role is to provide pro-active, expert specialist HR business partner services to leaders, managers and employees across the entire employee lifecycle and to deliver effective support in the key areas of Attraction, Resourcing and Retention; HR Operations; Reward and Recognition; and Learning and Development.

As Senior HR BP you will:

· Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement impactful HR strategies.

· Support managers in employee relations, performance management, and talent development.

· Design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills.

· Analyse HR metrics to drive decision-making and improve effectiveness.

To be considered you will require:

· Full CIPD qualification (level 7), or equivalent.

· Broad and extensive industry experience at HR Business Partner level with associated knowledge, together with experience of shaping and delivering a coherent and successful People Strategy and operational service, ideally gained in the non-profit sector.

· Strong up to date knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.

· Excellent Employee Relations experience including experience of managing a range of complex ER matters, including change and restructuring.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· The ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders in a complex environment.

· Leadership skills to lead in the day to day operations of your designated business areas, as well as on specific projects.

· Coaching and training skills and a willingness to mentor and support the development of early career colleagues within the People Team.

What will your typical day involve? 

You will collaborate with Jewish communities and synagogues, orchestrating and overseeing community events, and managing related clerical tasks. You will also be responsible for liaising with external agencies and assisting in the production of departmental reports. 

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include contributing to educational and research projects, delivering exceptional customer service, and enhancing departmental systems and processes. Who are we looking for? 

We are seeking someone with A-Levels or equivalent qualifications and a genuine interest in improving older people’s lives. You should have excellent, caring communication skills and a good understanding of Jewish culture. Strong literacy and numeracy skills are required for creating written materials and handling data. Proficiency in office procedures and IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and video calls) is essential. Experience with database management is a plus, and you should be able to work flexibly and independently. 

Experience in healthcare or education settings is also desired. Prior experience in a similar role, along with project management skills, is advantageous, especially in supporting service developments from initial stages to full implementation.

About the role 

As an Engagement and Assessment Worker, you will be part of Crisis Skylight Brent’s Engagement and Assessment Team, providing a high quality, non-judgemental and safe service to individuals who approach our Skylight Centre. Engagement and Assessment Workers are the first point of contact for a range of enquiries from people who are experiencing homelessness for the first time, individuals with complex and multiple needs, visitors, volunteers, and supporters. You will be providing information about Crisis’ services, delivering a high-quality triage and assessment service, and offering Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) on local homelessness and other related services. You will also manage a small caseload. 

Crisis uses a case management approach, and the successful candidate will attend case management meetings, reflective practice, and team meetings. You will also work collaboratively with external partners and Crisis Skylight Brent’s Coaching and Learning Teams. 

About you 

To be successful in this role you will have: 

• Experience of working with homeless or other vulnerable groups and understanding of the importance of respecting confidentiality, showing empathy and sensitivity, and working in a boundary way 

• Experience of assessing presenting needs and working in a Psychologically Informed Environment, and in a way that ensures that members with all levels of need can access the service. 

• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering the highest standard of customer care and high quality IAG. 

• Good knowledge of homelessness, housing and welfare legislation and Safeguarding procedures 

• Strong interpersonal skills including effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to deal with challenging situations with a calm approach. 

• Ability to manage a caseload, and successful relationships with external service providers and partners. 

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

We are looking for a Commercial Senior Manager / Associate Director to drive the next phase of the No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS). The NILS pilot has already lent over £10 million to more than 13,000 financially vulnerable people, demonstrating the positive impact of affordable credit. This is a unique opportunity to lead a multi-million-pound programme through its final stages and oversee its strategic scaling for long-term sustainability.

The scheme is currently funded by HM Treasury, JP Morgan, and Fair4All Finance. We are looking for an experienced senior lead with a background in both commercial delivery and business case development, fluent in working with the public sector, mainstream finance, and civil society to oversee the final stages of the pilot delivery and to take charge of scaling up NILS.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) Programme: Oversee the final delivery phase of the NILS pilot, with the Programme Delivery Manager

· Develop the Business Case: Build the long-term commercial model and business case for NILS, identifying sustainable funding solutions and influencing senior stakeholders

· Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with key partners

· Scaling and Expansion: Work with financial services providers to expand NILS beyond the pilot

· Product Innovation: Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to adapt and improve the NILS product

About the role:

Accountabilities
