Who we are

Welcare is a registered charity that provides support for families with children up to the age of 13 years old across South London and East Surrey. We provide tailored front-line, intensive support through a uniquely holistic, non-judgemental and neutral approach and offer a range of groupwork programmes. We are here for parents who may feel isolated or find it tough to cope for varying reasons, offering both practical and emotional family support services. Our community-based centres, highly-trained staff and supporters all work together towards strengthening families to ensure they are able to give children access to opportunities and the best possible start in life. On a daily basis we see the great need among families for parents to provide for their children both physically and emotionally in times of struggle. Welcare believes we should work together, as families and as individuals, to empower children and strengthen our future. Vision: Our vision is of a world where every child and family is respected, included and resilient, and able to overcome challenges in life. Mission: Our mission is to work alongside parents and carers to give children secure and confident childhoods and to enable them to thrive in the future. By offering practical and emotional individual family support, Welcare empowers families to rebuild their lives and helps parents give their children secure and confident childhoods.
