Who we are

UP Global exists to empower startup community leaders and the entrepreneurs they serve worldwide. With a platform offering action-based learning programs, resources, and networks for entrepreneurs and leaders, UP Global aims to be the leading organization furthering human welfare through entrepreneurship. We currently run the programs Startup Weekend, Education Entrepreneurs, NEXT, Startup Digest, and more. We operate in all parts of the world, from San Francisco to Nairobi to Shanghai, and we have grown 300% in the last year, with a global team of over 3,000 volunteers and supporters. Our company culture is one of passion, empowerment, and action over talk. We believe we are changing the world and hold this responsibility close to our hearts. With a reach in over 110 countries, the UP Global impact is a fast-growing collaborative effort made possible by support from Google for Entrepreneurs, Case Foundation, Microsoft, Coca-Cola Company, and Omidyar Network.
