Who we are

Tanzania Socio – Economic, Health and Environmental Development “TASHED” is a national based not-for-profit non-governmental organization. Registered in April 2022, TASHED is a humanitarian, development, community-centered and advocacy organization, edicated to contributing to identifying and addressing underlying gaps and challenges that hinder greater outcomes in health, environment and development in Tanzania, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) TASHED works closely with key decision makers within the government machinery and members of the community to catalyze and stimulate aspects of development, critical for improvement of environment and health of community members. Prior to its official registration in 2022, TASHED humanitarian operations in Tanzania began in 2020 with community outreach services targeting in-school youth and adolescents with strategically tailored interventions designed to support young people to reach their full potential by tackling causes of poverty and health-related challenges
