Who we are

We are River Holme Connections and our goal is to make the river catchment a better place for people and wildlife.  As a growing environmental charity, we work to promote healthy rivers and improve biodiversity alongside increased education and community involvement across the Holme Valley.

River Holme Connections’s charity objects are:

• To promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment of the River Holme corridor and surrounding area.
• To advance the education of the public in the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment of the River Holme corridor and surrounding area.

Our culture and values

We are passionate about nature conservation, our river ecosystems and wildlife within the wider landscape, we aim to help protect and restore our local river ecosystems and the wider Holme Valley River catchment.
