One Degree Academy

Who we are

One Degree Academy is a new all-through school opening in September for 90 Reception students. We will open for Year 7 subsequently and will build year on year thereafter. We will always be a small and personalised school even when at full capacity. We are non-selective and publicly funded.

Through inspirational teaching and incremental improvement, every One Degree Academy student will develop the knowledge, attributes and cultural capital to succeed at university, enjoy a productive career and lead a fulfilled life.

We aim for our small, all-through school to improve outcomes for children of all backgrounds. Based on our experience of working with pupils in London, we believe that learning is most effective when it is personalised, inspirational and connected. These are the guiding principles of our school.
