About us
Who we are
NWR have been connecting women across the UK since 1960. We have 315 groups across the UK, who hold regular meet-ups, with additional activities e.g. book clubs and local outings. We also have an extensive online programme (for those who are house-bound or prefer to meet online) including weekly exercise classes, book clubs, Facebook groups and weekly meetings. Our lively minded members get together to talk about anything and everything.
Our culture and values
We believe human connection is key to positive mental health. We help combat social isolation by connecting women for conversation, friendship and fun. No woman is an island!
