About us

Who we are

The MS Trust is a UK charity who helps to make sense of MS. We are here for everyone affected by MS, from the moment of diagnosis and throughout their journey. We're here today, tomorrow and every day after, making sure a life with MS isn't a life defined by MS.

135 people are diagnosed with multiple sclerosis every week in the UK. That’s one person every two hours. An MS diagnosis can be devastating for people with MS and their loved ones. We fight to make sure everyone affected by MS can access good quality, specialist care and live the best life they possibly can. We support and train MS health professionals and fund MS specialist nurses and Advanced MS Champions across the UK. We produce practical, evidence-based information, online and in print, and our dedicated Helpline team are a friendly and knowledgeable voice to speak to for anyone who needs to know more about MS.

Enhanced annual leave

Enhanced annual leave

25 days annual leave (28 for manager roles) plus bank holidays. Increasing by 1 day each year of service up to a max of 30 days.

Company pension with enhanced employer contribution of 5% on completion of a probationary period. A salary sacrifice scheme is available.

A tax-free death in service benefit of four times your basic salary, should the unthinkable happen and you die while in our employment (age limit)

We offer 12 weeks fully paid maternity leave and six weeks fully paid paternity and adoption pay.

Sick pay at a rate of four weeks per year in the first year of employment, increasing by one week in each subsequent year to max of eight weeks.
