About us
Who we are
What are we like as a team?
We are a small team of brilliant minds and lovely people, led by Eleanor Bowden.
We are building our organisation at the moment, which means there is lots of opportunity for growth and development by getting involved in various parts of the business. Want to get more confident with numbers? Great, own our budget plan. Feel like you'd like to hone your writing skills? Awesome, help with our press releases. On the other hand, becuase we're a new org, we don't have a shiny website or social media channels (yet).
As we are a small team we all help each other out, and rely on great team communication. This is particularly important as we all work to our own schedules, only meeting in London once or twice a week. There is loads of room for flexible working, and defining your own schedule (and then living to it) is hugely encouraged.
The organisation is changing and growing, and that means the nature of the role is likely to change to - but you'll be in the driving seat for that. When there are other opportunities that arise, grab them and run with them. You'll get a pat on the back from us. We also have sister companies who are likely to need a similar skill set of communication skills, building relationships, and managing sales pipelines, so there be plenty of opportunities to grow into new organisations if that's your thing.
Whatever you want, talk to us. We like self-starting people who know what they want and ask for it.
What are we doing as an organisation?
Community Sponsors Homes are launching the UK’s first residential impact investment fund investing in accessible properties.
We plan to raise an initial fund to purchase 300+ homes. These will help the residents and their families benefit from the security and independence that long-term open-market adapted housing offers.
Through a unique investment mechanism, and dependent on investor support, we will be able to provide residents sub-market cost accommodation, and a clear route to home ownership.
In the future, we can take this investment mechanism to the wider market, helping all of generation rent.
