We are currently seeking a highly motivated, confident individual with excellent organisational skills to take on maternity cover for the role of head of marketing, advertising and events.
Reporting to the executive director, you will be responsible for the sale of advertising space on our website, through email blasts to our mailing lists, via our weekly emails and within our quarterly print publication. You will also be responsible for the line management of event support, while managing our event programme which consists of up to 19 digital and in-person events per year. You will also be responsible for line management of the subscriptions manager, overseeing concurrent marketing projects, targeting key subscription areas, and ensuring a high level of renewals amongst our subscribers. Alongside this, there will be opportunities to represent Alliance at external events both in the UK and abroad.
The successful candidate will have strong, persuasive oral and written communication skills, enjoy working in a small team, and have excellent organisation and time-management. The candidate will be a willing participant in all APT discussions and play an active part in driving the organisation forward.

Purpose of the role
The Senior Technical Associate role is a key member of the Senior Technical Team at ENN. The post holder will bring extensive skills, expertise and capacity to deliver on a portfolio of our projects, provide strategic and technical direction and leadership, and manage their teams.
Terms and Conditions
· Hours of work: This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) for a 12 month fixed term contract (maternity cover). We will consider appointing two part-time positions to secure the right technical fit and skillsets.

1. Technical
The Senior Technical Associate will manage a portfolio of projects, lead on, and support, project delivery and develop content of technical outputs. This will involve being accountable for quality and timely delivery. The priority areas for this position are:
· Portfolio lead for ENN’s Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergencies (IFE) and Management of small and at-risk infants under 6 months and their mothers (MAMI) projects
· Project lead for Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergencies (IFE) Project.
· Technical lead for pieces of work/activities within the IFE/MAMI portfolio.
· Senior editorial role in Field Exchange
· Institutional engagement; particularly donors and foundations

As Exams Assistant you will support the day to day running of the examinations with a particular focus on question bank management. You will be working with the Examinations Team and examiners across all specialties. IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England. The programme is led by Social Finance in partnership with the Centre for Mental Health. It is funded by NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I), the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).
The Workforce Lead will provide specialist support to services embarking on recruitment campaigns, monitor their effectiveness and share learning. They will also provide hands-on support for recruitment efforts and training. This will vary according to the service need, but could include headhunting, sifting CVs, preparing for interviews, shortlisting and training.
The opportunity
The Workforce Leads will play a crucial role in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of the IPS Workforce within their designated regions. About the role
As a Housing First Coach you will deliver high quality person-centred support, using psychologically and trauma informed approaches, in line with Housing First principles. You will take a bold approach to establishing open and trusting relationships with people who have had long histories of homelessness or in temporary/insecure accommodation, enabling them to access and sustain accommodation and empower them to exercise choice and control over their lives. About you

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Finance team at Dementia UK, playing a key role in the administration, maintenance, reporting, and compliance of funds and fund accounting.
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for carrying out monthly balance sheet reconciliations, leading on all trading subsidiary matters, and ensuring charity tax compliance, including VAT and Corporation Tax, across the organisation. Our Activity Service
The Activity Service is an important part of our organisation, delivering high quality activities to the older people of Merton. The role will play a key part in organising the delivery of existing activities, ensuring they are delivered to an exceptional standard with the service users at the heart of the service.
The role will on occasion deputise for the Activities Service manager, overseeing both the team and the delivery of activities. This role will play an important part to increase our outreach across Merton.

Responsible to: Activity Service Manager
Based at: Elmwood Centre in Mitcham and various locations across Merton. This role requires the delivery of activities in person at our centre.

Age UK Merton supports over 3,000 older people a year, our mission is to provide quality advice and services that meet the needs of older adults in Merton.

Key Result areas

Innovate, develop, and deliver a wide range of new and existing activities for service users.

Encourage clients to attend and participate in a range of activities

Welcome all clients who attend the activity centre and enable them to engage in activities.

Deputizing for the Activity Centre Manager.

Create and collate feedback from service users.

Identify and develop existing volunteer roles within the Activity Service.

Work collaboratively with other Age UK Merton Services and teams to provide help and advice to clients who are identified as needing additional support.

Building strong collaborative relationships with external partners who deliver exercise classes.
Organisation and Coordination of Activities

To organise the delivery of all activities and exercise classes in the centre.

To be actively involved in the ongoing development and design new activities held across the borough.

To support the planning and development of Age UK Merton’s quarterly activity guide to include all events at Age UK Merton.

To plan and coordinate the distribution of the activity guide across the borough.

To encourage the attendance of activities to new and existing clients.
Volunteers
-
Working with the Volunteer Service identify and develop roles and responsibilities of volunteers who support the Activity team.

To coordinate and organise the team of volunteers who support the Activity service.
Administrative Duties
-
Responsible for daily banking and reconciliation of cash for all activities.

Introduce new ways to pay for activities such as online bookings.

Take bookings for all activities and input details on to the CRM.
-
Answer telephone enquiries for the Activity centre.

Greet all clients and volunteers attending the Activity centre.
Data Capture, Evaluation and Reporting.

Respond to feedback and suggestions from clients to develop activities.

Keep records up to date on the CRM for attendees of all activities.

Working with the Activity Service Manager to expand the delivery of activities into areas of the borough not currently served.

Working with the Activity Manager to develop client feedback opportunities.

Support the Activity Manager to identify and write up case studies for funding applications.

Use the CRM to run reports to support funding bids and reporting.
General

Establish good working relationships with all relevant stakeholders and liaise as required Comply at all times with the policies and procedures of Age UK Merton.

Ensure that Age UK Merton’s Equal Opportunities policies, principles and practices are observed and implemented throughout service delivery.

Carry out any other relevant tasks as required, to ensure the effective development of the organisation and the delivery of its services, this may include supporting weekend and out of hours events for time off in lieu.

Be aware of own training needs and participate in training/education to improve performance considered relevant to the post and to achieve agreed targets.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, and working closely with the Finance and Operations Director, this is an exciting, fast-paced and varied role which sits within our Finance Team. The post holder will both provide the day-to-day bookkeeping support for our busy finance function as well as providing administrative support for our two Boards and their various Sub Committees.
The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, numeracy and communication skills, will be self-motivated, will enjoy managing competing workloads, and working collaboratively across broad groups of internal and external stakeholders.
