About the role
Post Title: Youth Violence Intervention Practitioner
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with regular evening and weekend shifts required. Shifts will be scheduled to ensure team cover from 7:30 am to 9:00 pm daily.
Location: Onsite, University Hospital, Lewisham, London. With regular travel to other Redthread sites and offices when required.

About the Role: Principal Consultant

Job Overview
The Video Editor will be responsible for post-production edits of video deliverables. The candidate must be a visual storyteller, capable of delivering compelling and engaging stories about the IRC’s response to emergencies and crises and the people who are impacted.
This position reports to the Associate Director of Content, collaborating with the Sr. Video Editor, video editor, freelance editors, and producers on editing and delivering video products that will be used for major integrated priorities and campaigns for all marketing efforts and audience segments.
Major Responsibilities
● Deliver finished video for various platforms and distribution needs, which includes editing together raw footage and audio, photo stills, graphics, adapting archival video, and versioning
● Collaborate with Content team, Creative & Content Studio, and stakeholders on creative idea pitches, and deliver on creative briefs
● Source broll for video projects, campaigns, external vendors and partners via internal library and paid footage
● Onboard vendors/freelancers/agencies
● Searching for stock music tracks based on references or direction
● Color correct footage
● Time manage assigned tasks
● Maintain and add to roster of vendor talent, including videographers, editors, sound engineers, graphic artists, narrators, translators, transcription services, musicians, colorists, coordinating with the content team

Job Requirements:
● Portfolio of work, including short-form social media videos, long-form documentary style, commercials, and/or fundraising appeals, etc.
● Use a variety of technical skills and software to complete production, including Final Cut Pro Adobe Premiere, and After Effects
● Experience in sound design, color correction/grading, video quality enhancement, and/or graphics/animation

Bank Support Workers have the ability to accept any shifts available on an ad-hoc basis across from all of Look Ahead's specialisms including Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Homelessness and Young People. Bank Support Workers will provide support to customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet the assessed needs of the customers of the service. They will work with customers to promote social inclusion and alongside other members of the team to promote independent living, encouraging customers to maximise their skills and choices. Within Learning Disability services, this will include providing physical, domestic, emotional and social care. Within Mental Health and Homelessness services they will enable vulnerable people living in a variety of different tenures to manage their tenancies/ licences and move towards greater independence within the community by providing a flexible and individually tailored support package. Back Up’s Regional Outreach and Engagement team are the very face of the organisation and are based across the UK, working directly with spinal cord injury centres, major trauma centres and hospitals – or indeed anywhere that people affected by spinal cord injury may be.

Purpose
The HR Administrator role is an excellent opportunity for someone with HR or admin experience, who is interested in starting/progressing an HR career and looking to gain experience in a friendly but busy small HR team. The role provides a day-to-day HR admin service to employees and HR admin support to the part time HR team (two HR Business Partners and the Head of People & Development). The HR Administrator will be involved in using an HR and payroll system, ADP, and have an important role in the employee lifecycle processes e.g., DBS checks, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, payroll, appraisals, and have day-to-day responsibility for the HR and Recruitment Outlook mailboxes.
Main Responsibilities

Achieve work targets effectively

New Starter Onboarding Process: creating documents for HRBP approval (offer letters and contracts), ensuring all starter paperwork is returned, requesting and tracking the return of references, right to work checks, and setting up new starter compliance training.

Leavers: leading on leaver admin process, ensuring it is completed in timely manner.

Recruitment: becoming an expert user of Applied, our applicant tracking system. Advertising jobs (on Applied and external jobsites), arranging interviews and supporting colleagues with recruitment queries.

Invoicing and Credit Card Reconciliation: processing invoices on Finance system, Kissflow and the monthly credit card reconciliation for HR transactions.

Payroll - accurately updating and maintaining ADP, the HR & Payroll database. Uploading documents, running reports. Supporting HRBPs with payroll queries.

Regularly updating and auditing other HR data to ensure information is up to date (e.g., pensions data, new starter training, wellbeing data).

Employment checks: maintaining the DBS list and processing DBS checks for existing and new staff.

SharePoint: maintaining HR Self Service folder, ensuring documents are up to date.

Appraisals: ensuring appraisal forms are logged and uploaded to ADP.

Job Title: Information & Advice Helpline Officer (Maternity Cover)

Background to the Role
Do you have helpline or call centre experience? Are you good at communicating on the telephone? Do you enjoy helping people to find information and solutions to challenges? Are you approachable and a good communicator? We need you to join our high volume, friendly helpline team of staff and volunteers, answering calls and providing information and support to older people in Croydon.
Our helpline is a first point of contact for many older people and their families and carers as they tackle a variety of issues around finance, social engagement, housing and council tax, travel concessions such as Blue Badge and Taxi card. You will play a crucial role in answering our busy Information & Advice Helpline phone: listening carefully and sympathetically to callers, finding solutions to their queries or issues and. The role is varied and very rewarding, and no two days are the same.
Main Duties (but not limited to)
- Providing information and signposting to callers to our Helpline and to people enquiring by email
- Entering new client referrals on our database and recording each new enquiry on our systems
- Supporting and supervising volunteers within the I&A Team
