As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director of People and Culture will work in a spirit of mutual accountability with fellow directors, taking strategic leadership of Turn2us’s People and Culture Directorate. You’ll have responsibility for strengthening our culture and supporting all our people managers to attract, develop and retain colleagues who are committed to our values and guiding principles.
You will take proactive leadership of our Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (EDIB) work across the organisation so that we can become more inclusive and diverse, as well as oversee our approach to co-production, making sure that we centre the voices and insights of people with experience of financial insecurity in the design of all our work. JOB PURPOSE
The Children and Young People’s Mentor will work within the CYP team to deliver services relating to children and young people affected by Domestic violence and Abuse.
They will hold a caseload for direct 1-1 work with young people/ girls and deliver a programme of groups in schools to adolescent girls. Responsibilities will include recording of data, reporting and completing evaluations.
They will be expected to promote the work of the Rising Sun and take a share of responsibility in delivering or assisting with promotional work within the organisation.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Service delivery
- Work 1-1 with young people (aged 11 to 15 years) affected by Domestic violence and Abuse
- Build positive working relationships with local schools to deliver this programme
- Hold own caseload and respond in a way that understands the needs of the young people the Rising Sun supports
- Work in a mentoring capacity with children and adolescents with a specific focus on domestic abuse and its impact
- Recognise the impact of domestic abuse on young people and families; showing empathy and understanding in working with these families and developing the capacity to adopt a trauma informed approach to the work
- Support and facilitate groups in schools and in the community focusing on healthy relationships, spotting red flags etc
- Work flexibly with young people and meet with them in a variety of settings such as schools, colleges and community centres, depending on their needs
- Work creatively and flexibly to help support a vulnerable and at times challenging client group.
- Build relationships with partner agencies such as social care, early help, schools, police and health services
- Attend meetings on behalf of the Rising Sun where necessary, promote multi-agency working and build positive working relationships with external agencies at all times
- Work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and building positive working-relationships with team members

Knowledge and Qualifications
- A relevant qualification in working with children and young people (Desirable)
- A thorough understanding of violence against women and girls with a particular focus on domestic abuse (coercive control, sexual violence, so-called ‘honour- based violence’, forced marriage and FGM)
- Experience of working with young girls and adolescent females with focus around understanding emotions, shame and gender identity (Desirable)
- Excellent understanding of the impact of domestic violence on children and young people, families and communities
- Thorough knowledge of safeguarding practice, procedures and legislation

About the role
We’re looking for a Fundraising Engagement Manager to join our Regional Fundraising team.
This is a role of variety, opportunity and innovation, and we are looking for someone who embraces change and constantly strives to achieve more.
You will maximise income for Young Live vs Cancer by coaching our supporters to reach their goals, whilst seeking out new fundraising opportunities for your geographical area. This role sits within the ‘Regional Engagement’ team and we need someone with natural customer service skills who wants to deliver an excellent experience to all of their supporters. Your team of supporters will range from volunteers and individuals, to groups and local corporates.
South & West Yorkshire is an area filled with some of our most committed supporters but there is still so much opportunity to grow corporate support across the counties. Our Social Workers support families from Sheffield and Leeds hospitals, so building relationships with these teams are a must.
Candidates should live within South & West Yorkshire, in one of the following counties: Bradford, Doncaster, Halifax, Leeds, Sheffield, Oldham or Wakefield.

We are recruiting four Workforce Leads to support hands-on recruitment, attraction and the onboarding and training of IPS Employment Specialists and Team Leaders across the country. These will be dedicated, regional roles where you will support the scale up of the IPS workforce in your designated region.
IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England. The programme is led by Social Finance in partnership with the Centre for Mental Health. It is funded by NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I), the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).
The Workforce Lead will provide specialist support to services embarking on recruitment campaigns, monitor their effectiveness and share learning. They will also provide hands-on support for recruitment efforts and training. This will vary according to the service need, but could include headhunting, sifting CVs, preparing for interviews, shortlisting and training.
The opportunity
The Workforce Leads will play a crucial role in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of the IPS Workforce within their designated regions. They will support the scale up of the IPS workforce by ensuring high-quality recruitment processes, comprehensive training programs, and effective onboarding practices. The Workforce Leads will work closely with IPS Grow Regional Managers, local and national stakeholders, including NHS services, to recruit the IPS workforce needed to achieve high levels of employment outcomes for IPS clients.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Community Education Officer plays an important role in both collaborating with communities to take part in shared learning and disseminating findings to wider audiences throughout the project, informing how it develops and boosting its impact. You will work in partnership with individuals and their communities, under the supervision of the Senior Project Manager as part of the education and advocacy programme. The Meetings and Events Manager would lead on the delivery of the RSTMH meeting and events strategy. The Charity
The Youth Adventure Trust is a youth development charity working with vulnerable young people aged 11 to 16 years old from Somerset, Wiltshire and Swindon. Our outdoor activity based YAT Adventure Programme enables young people to challenge themselves, experience success, learn to go beyond their own expectations and grow in confidence. Through a series of residential camps and day activities they are able to build resilience, self esteem and develop social and life skills. The YAT Resilience Programme works to the same outcomes through a year long programme of monthly activities, home-based challenges and reflective practice. Our Mentoring Programme works with those young people in need of some additional individualised support at the end of our other programmes. The Trust’s Bursary Programme is open to all those young people who have completed an initial programme, in order to assist their next steps into further activities.
